"We really loved the property and found it perfect for the kind of weekend we had in mind. Mr Byrnes welcome was impeccable and the property is really well equipped and very clean. However as we used separate beds it was not too bad but it would be impossible to recommend the property to a couple who wanted to use the double bed as it is extremely uncomfortable even for one person and could not seriously be slept in by a couple As soon as we knew that that detail were sorted out we would send everyone we know !!!!!! Thanks again, stuart."

"The Property was a great location, beautiful setting. The accomodations had a lot of spiderwebs and one of the sleeping sets (duvet) was had mold spores. I am assuming it was due to the location being so humid. The cottage would be a wonderful retreat if the pull out bed was replaced and spiderwebs cleaned."

"The scenery around the property was fantastic. The property manager, John Byrne, was very nice and very helpful. The house was very cute and we had a wonderful vacation. The neighbors were very welcoming and a great bunch of people."

"Kilmichael was wonderful. The residents there were charming. We were looking for peace and quiet with a convenient place to keep our belongings while we planned daytrips around the country. This was a great value. The property manager was so helpful in getting us to the local attractions. I would stay again.

"The Kilmichael Coastguard station included a "rocket cart house" The rockets had nothing to do with warfare. The rockets were fired, with a line attached to reach a ship in difficulties. They were a means of saving life as a bosun's chair could be pulled out by the line and enabled people to be pulled into shore. There was quite a lot of equipment which was all contained on a two or four-wheeled cart as in many instances the equipment would be pulled for some miles to reach a stranded ship in imminent danger. This is just a clarification on the use of the "Rocket House" Regards Tony Daly"

History is interesting. Our neighbors even mentioned there was ammunition in the cottage...at one point there was even a still there. One could suppose you could say this was a multi use facility at one point. Now we are pleased and privileged to own a piece of history.

"What a fabulous place to stay. The peace and quiet, the roar of the sea and the seals playing in the surf. I can't believe I made such a wonderful find for my long-term rental. Thanks again for the personal service. M."

"Kelly, the trip was wonderful. We absolutely loved the cottage although we were only able to spend 3 nights there. We had so much to see that we had to take off south then west then north to Galway and spent 4 nights on the road. we also spent 3 nights in Dublin on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Your father in law was very nice and so helpful. The cottage and the location of it was terrific. You were lucky to be in the right place at the right time to find and purchase it. If you ever want to sell it, let us know. Thank you so much for the use of it. We got to see the Waterford factory, kiss the blarney stone, the cliffs of Moher, the guiness tour and we went to river dance at the Gaiety theatre. Thanks again, Steve"
