| "Fantastic property and fantastic views, House was perfect for our party of 12 and we all enjoyed ourselves.
House had everything we needed Big Drive, Big Garden, A playarea, Loads of Cutlery & Cups, BIG table for all of us to sit around, loads of Space in all rooms & a Open Fire which was bliss in the evenings.
Sintra is lovely and well worth a visit, Lisbon is also worthwhile of a visit but park in Sintra and catch the train its cheaper and 40 mins away, and better than driving and parking in the capital.
A MUST is Apple beach with its fantastic waves and the Most Westernly point on Mainland Europe is also a very good attraction.
All round a brilliant and enjoyable holiday."

| "We could not have been happier with this house and our time spent in it. There were beautiful views from every room. This house was clearly lovingly built, with careful thought taken to the layout which allowed fluidity from room to room. Everything was provided for us and the location was extremely convenient. We barbequed every day and were able to eat outside on one of the many balconies to enjoy the surrounding nature. At night, we built fires and enjoyed the view from indoors. There are lovely views of Pena Palace and the surrounding Sintra Mountains. We completely fell in love with this house. Although Sintra is the most beautiful place that I've ever seen, it became a difficult decision as to whether to make the very short trip to town or simply remain at the house. There are many family activities to enjoy in the surrounding area, including walks through breathtaking palaces, gardens and landscapes. Upon our return, my family was immediately asking when we could go back to Casa da Torre."

| "This is a beautiful old family house located within the Sintra Nature Preserve. Big, quiet, peaceful with an amazing view of the castles.
The house was large and able to make everyone feel comfortable. We had some elderly family members, and I don't think they were as happy with the "charm" as we were.
I would visit this house again, as it really is nice!"

| "The house is everything it's advertised to be. The rooms are plentiful, large and comfortable. Although built in the last 25 years, it has the look and feel of an old traditional house, with lots of wood, stucco walls and tile floors. There are several rooms where one can retreat to be alone if desired. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils, dishes and pots and pans, and there were plenty of linen and towels. Overall, a pleasant place to come home to after a hard day of touring."

| "A lovely large Villa in an ideal location for Sintra, Lisbon & surrounds. 10 mins drive to the sea.
Villa is abundant in character & charm.
Facilities are complete and service is efficient & easilly contactable.
Local village has adequate grocery shops including a well stocked butchers shop. Sintra is 10 mins drive and has numerous sights.
Ideal for a large family, a group of families sharing, or even a couple who want somewhere large enough that they do not need to see each other for the whole holiday!
Recommended & would return for another holiday."

| "This country house is located in a beautiful area with views of two castles, fields and spectacular sunsets. It is a large house with tile flooring and huge kitchen and dining rooms. It is conveniently located near Sintra which is an enjoyable, historic city with lots of restaurants and things to do. We stayed during mid March and enjoyed beautiful temperatures during the daytime, although the nights were quite cool. We would gladly return for a longer visit."
