"The property is in a fantastic location if you love the Loire. The accomodation was full of character and the pool and gardens made for a very relaxing time. The owners, Rosemary and Richard are very hospitable and you always get a warm welcome from the little dog Alfie. We had a lovely stay and finished it off with dinner cooked by Rosemary. If you like antiques, want accomodation with character and like old France then this is the place to stay."

"The house, the swimmingpool and the surroundings are nice. What we did not like was the fact that we were too close with the familys life. Each time we had to pass their kitchen. The way to our room was very very narrow and was above their bedroom. We felt somewhat " un-private". The owners are polite but not very interested in the visitors. Compared with other B & Bs in France we think the price is too high for what you get."

Owner reply: :
We are very sorry and disappointed that you were not completely happy with your stay. We thought that you were a lovely family and are sorry that you felt that we were not interested in you. We are sorry that you felt that you lacked privacy in the attic suite, as it does span the whole house and has been fitted with sound insulation from the floors below.

"What a great little find! Manoir Des Rosiers exceeded our expectations in all areas. The Attic room (B and B) we stayed in was so spacious, huge actually, and very comfortable. Even in Winter it was warm and very cosy, and the bed was extremely comfy. Rosemary cooks amazing meals, so I highly recommend having a meal at Manoir Des Rosiers, it was tasty and excellent value as it included wine also. The location is beautiful - very country and rustic. Easy accessible to various Chateau, wineries, restaurants and towns. Alfie and Cleo (dog and cat) are so charming and made our stay extra-memorable!"

"We stayed at the Manoir for two nights only and wish it could have been longer! The house is beautiful, full of interesting and gorgeous touches and the grounds wonderful. We enjoyed our laid-back meals and conversations with Rosemary and Richard who are excellent hosts. We need to return because we were so busy exploring the area we didnt make it to the pool!"

"We very much enjoyed our night at Manoir des Rosiers and were well looked after by Rosemary and Richard. Many thanks - a great start to our holiday."

"The property itself is picture-book perfect, beautifully furnished and maintained, with lovingly tended grounds planted with numerous roses, fruit trees and wild flowers. We stayed in the "Attic Studio" which was very comfortable and completely private, and the separate Gite has also been refurbished to a very high standard. The owners were extremely friendly and very welcoming, treating us like old friends. The food was delicious and the local wine proved to be an excellent accompaniment. The property is centrally based for visiting local markets nearby, as well as driving to larger, more bustling towns, like Angers, for the day, or, if youre more inclined to doing nothing in particular, what better way to spend your day lazing by the pool! Our rating for Manoir des Rosiers is 10/10."

" A wonderful place to stay. Richard and Rosemary are a lovely couple, very warm and friendly. It felt like we were visiting friends we were that comfortable. We stayed in the Attic room with our baby - lots of space and room to move. Nicely decorated too. We would love to go back and stay in the Gite."

"An ideal place to spend a week, located in a fascinating part of the Loire Valley. Rosemary and Richard looked after us very well with fresh and tasty breakfasts (the home made jams were real treats) and a sensational Good Friday dinner of mussels, fish, cheese and chocolate mousse. The attic room was beautiful and Alfie and Cleo (dog and cat) lavished their own, special kind of love. Charming property."

"We had a wonderful honeymoon trip to this place. The couple who owned it were so welcoming and hospitable. The house was beautifully renovated in a modern and yet authentic French farmhouse style. The food was fantastic (better than any local restaurants!) and we loved the house pets (cats, dog, hens and ducks!) What's more...there were so many interesting places to visit in the area ranging from fairytale castles to sparkling wine vineyards to a tapped apple museum in a Trogolodyte cave! "

"The photos do not lie! I booked on impulse, purely on the promise of the picture of the attic, and was thrilled to find fact exceeding image! The welcome was warm, the provision was wonderful, and that the pool was not more accessible was entirely the fault of the weather. Easy access to all sorts of interesting stuff to do prevented that being any more of a problem."

"Lovely building and beautiful attic room. En suite was lovely and clean. Bath has a shower but only hand held. The property is in a village but there are no bars or restaurants nearby and one of the "recommended" restaurants was decidedly average - everything is a drive away. Rosemary is lovely - a fantastic cook - and delightfilly vague! Recommended"

"Rosemarie and Richard Conquest are ideal hosts with a professional approach, and yet maintain the ability to make you feel part of the family. Their local knowledge enabled us to make the most of our short stay and we left feeling that we had enjoyed a weeks holiday in 3 days. It is fully recommended that a stay is included in any visit to France."
