"A nice enough villa in a quiet location but our stay was marred by problems with the air-con, which the Management Company took two days to sort out, and by the state of the pool, which looked murky and uninviting for the whole of our stay. The Management Company had not prepared the villa properly (dirty windows, not enough crockery put out etc), the mid-stay linen change promised in the so-called welcome pack in the villa did not happen and we felt the Management Company did not seem terribly interested in sorting out the problams we had. There were several inaccuracies in the villa description on the website, which we note have been corrected since we contacted the owners on our return. Our impression is that this villa is just an investment for the owners and they are not very interested in making sure you enjpy your holiday."

The air conditioning unit in the living area needed attention. The management company sent a technician to help on the arrival day. An air con engineer attended and diagnosed the problem and finally the system was re-gassed. The problem was fixed within 48hrs. At all times two large floors standing fans were available for use in the living area. The bedrooms had full working air con at all times. There were no further problems with the air conditioning system.
The pool technicians attended and re-assured the clients that the pool water was safe to use. They demonstrated this by performing chemical tests which showed that there were the correct levels of disinfectant /chlorine in the water. The pool technicians attended to clean and test the water several times throughout the writers stay at the villa.
In the self catering villa brand new Crockery, still boxed, was available in the kitchen cupboards kept that way to prevent damage and for use as needed. The writer had cause to complain privately that these had to be located and washed by them. A total of perhaps 4 bowls, plates and side plates.
The midstay clean was not asked for. It is at extra cost and had it been ordered the cleaners would have built it into their time table.
The writer paid a discounted cost for a self catering villa in a superb area. The owners feel the writers expectations were well above the level of holiday they chose.
The management company responded professionally and helped the writers at all times.
The writer contacted the owner privately and stated they had enjoyed their holiday and the villa was nice, and in a quiet area.
The owner considers the other comments irrelevant and makes no apology for owning a property and running a business in Cyprus.

| "The directions were poor and would have been beneficial to have had a map of the development.
Arriving after dark it was difficult to find the key safe and impossible to use without some form of lighting, fortunately I had my phone to provide light but it could have been so much easier if the outside light had (a) been left on or (b) had an outside light switch. This problem should certainly have been anticipated.
The villa was excellent and well maintained.
Although as promised there was a TV, it was incapable of receiving any programmes and could only be used as a DVD player. Even this was difficult as the DVD remote did not have any batteries.
The CD player supplied would not play CDs
Some of the windows were filthy and although I appreciate that construction was taking place locally this was certainly more than one weeks grime on them
In fairness the agent attempted to rectify these faults wherever possible.
As stated previously the villa, pool and gardens were superb. Sadly the choices in the dro p down box does not allow accurate comment
All of the above should have been picked up if the pre-rental inspection was competent.
Would I come back again?
Yes I certainly would, but I would ensure that I bought, a torch, some batteries, windolene and some DVDs with me

| "The property is in very good condition and we found it spotlessly clean on arrival. The welcome pack of tea, coffee, milk, eggs, bread etc was very welcome as we arrived later than planned and it was too late to go out to eat. The pool is, again, very clean and was maintained during our stay. The air conditioning was a godsend and worked perfectly. The kitchen appliances and utensils appeared to be new and in excellent working order. The only negative aspect was the TV which had no signal and no means of getting one as far as we could see - but we didnt go there for the TV, we went for the sun and the convenience of having a pool and a location which was not loud but close to Protaras and Ayia Napa - and thats what we got. The local tavernas are good value and very welcoming and between a 2 minute and 10 minute max walk. Konnos beach is about a 10-15 minute walk or 2 minutes in the car. All in all, this is a good value property in a convenient location - albeit with the customary building works around, the same as most places on Cyprus. We would go back with no hesitation at all."

| "This property was very spacious and had a lovely pool, and outside area, the kitchen was a bit on the small side but workable. All facilities provided were in good working order. The Building site opposite was unfortunate but did not bother us at all as there was a good distance to where the work was being done, and the walk to protarus was a little far, but we easily found a taxi driver who soon got to know us quite well. Thanks for a relaxing holiday."
