| "This apartment was great! My son, daughter-in-law and I stayed for the week of VinItaly April 2009 and found it to be a home away from home. It was snug and warm in Italys springtime rains, and when the sun arrived, it was light and airy. All of our needs were provided in the apartment or close by: a bar with excellent coffee and exceptionally nice people, an alimentari, tabaccheria for all the things that a tobacconist provides in Italy and internet points. It is secure and just one flight of stairs away from the rhythm of Italian life."

| "The location of the property is ideal if you are wanting to be within walking distance of all the major attractions of Verona. It is located in a residential area which was lovely to experience. THe owner had made provision for our car to be garaged locally which was so useful.
The apartment was very clean and nicely furnished and had a lovely little outdoor area.
My only negative comments - and really these are things you can manage without for a week - no bedside tables or bedside lamps so reading in bed was a bit of a problem and no shower screen or curtain so showering had to be very carefully done!
However I will certainly return to Verona Walls and have already recommended it to friends."

| "We had a great time at Verona Words and just arrived home yesterday. We can't say enough about how fantastic a value it was.
The apartment is right over the river from the historic center of Verona and within easy walking distance of Piazza d'Erbe, a little farther to Piazza Bra but not too bad. All the great restaurants of Verona are within 10 minutes walk and that whole pedestrian shopping area is right there.
The quarter where the apartment is located is right near the University so there are lots of internet cafes. bars and markets handy. The apartment was exactly as described and the people who own it very accommodating.
There is a new Arte/Bar just underneath and to the left of the apartment and Valeria is the owner/Master Bartender. Incredibly nice place to get a coffee in the morning and have a great cocktail and some snacks in the evening/nighttime while listening to some music or if it is Saturday night, a few DJ's. Valeria speaks English very well and is a great resource for anything to do with Verona as she is a native.
The outdoor terrace at the apartment would be great in the event of good weather but it was a little too early in the season for us. There is almost no noise at night in the apartment and overall it is very quiet, with one exception being that the apartment above Verona Words must have a very large man/woman in heels or very large children as you can hear them going back and forth above you easily during the day.
The owners of the apartment were nice enough to arrange cheap parking at a garage right around the corner for 10 Euro a day which is a deal.
Even though most people don't come to Italy for French food, there is a great, romantic, crepe restaurant in the same street with good wine and good prices.
Overall, we would say that we had an incredible experience and would definitely recommend this apartment to friends and colleagues traveling to Verona."
