"We found villa cennet to be really nice in a perfect location just far enough away from the town not to need a car (ive seen how they drive over there!)The town is roughly 15 minutes walk and gets very lively in the evening. The villa itself was really nice with the garden and pool area being well maintained and the pool was cleaned daily. My only criticism was although there were lights in the pool we couldnt locate the switch for night time so pool was quite dark at night and we prefer it lit.Other than that I would recommend as good value for money and would certainly go again."

"Villa Cennet was our chosen villa this summer. We had an absolutely fantastic time. It was so quiet there. The pool was amazing. There were six of us and there was no crowding at all. Plenty of room for everybody. Would recommend to anyone wanting a quiet property but with the town about 10 minutes walk away. Brilliant"

"Villa Cennett is lovely, it is clean and well maintained with good quality furniture through out. The gardens are mature and offers ground floor privacy around the pool. The kitchen is modern and well equippted which leads onto a BBQ area with a large table and chairs. The lounge is large with good quality furniture and due to the curtains offers a cool respite from the sun. All 3 Bedrooms are of a good size and again well furnished. There are two bathrooms in the property both with showers, the upstairs shower is a large walk in, the downstairs a small cubicle. Suleyman the gardener and his wife the cleaner are very friendly as is the Ilker driver (who talks a lot). Eddie King the owner has been very quick to respond to any queries that I had before the holiday and was helpful in arranging taxi transfer at a reasonable cost. This is has been a lovely holiday in a lovely villa. and would recommend this villa to anyone"

"We have just returned from Villa Cennet and wouldnt hesitate to recommend it. The house and grounds are immaculately maintained and superbly managed. The pool is wonderful, being a good size and having the rarity (for Turkey) of a shallow end which we needed. Suleyman the gardener/maintenance man is just round the corner and will be there in a flash should you have any problems, and Ilker the driver is an excellent tour guide and offers trips to must-see sights in the area (dont miss Saklikent, its spectacular). We wanted a quiet holiday but with easy access to the beach and entertainment and this villa was ideal. "

"My boyfriend and I went with 2 other couples, and an obvious worry was space. However, the rooms were all a nice size and no arguing over the best room!! The upstairs bathroom nice, the downstairs more of a laundry room and only best used as a toilet rather than a shower room. The villa was in a beautuful location, and the pool was lovely ( a bit cold as we went last week of October and not heated - cold water constantly filtered in). It was a 15 minute walk in reality to Hisaranou and road from villa not that great so in honestly would say it wouldn't be great for wheelchairs etc. However when actually on the main road, the dolmus (buses) come all the time to Olu Deniz and Fetiye so that was good. It was definately value for money, it did meet our expectations and the description was accurate. The gentlemen who look after it on behalf of the owner were fantastic and one came every day to look after the pool and garden. When the electricity went off he came when we called within 5 mins (it was a false alarm - the whole street had gone off)!! Would definately recommend it!!"

"Villa Cennet is in a beautiful setting and perfectly situated. The house and gardens are beautifully maintained and the pool is just amazing. I would recommend Villa Cennet and will definitely return on my next visit to Turkey."

Review submitted by Paul from Bristol (Submitted: 07/09/2007)
"The property was exactly what we were expecting from the description on the website and we had a very comfortable and enjoyable holiday. It is in a relatively quiet loaction but there is plenty to do within easy travelling distance, even by walking. The property was cleaned three times during our fortnight's stay and a gardener attended every day to maintain the gardens and pool so we were well looked after. For a family looking for the option of a quiet time but with easy access to more activity, this would be an ideal villa. Overall, we were very pleased with our choice of villa for this holiday."

Review submitted by Jason from Blackpool (Submitted: 23/08/2007)
"Villa Cennet is in an excellent location and is a 10 minute walk from the start of both Hisaronu and Ovacik. The accommodation is in larger grounds than many of the other villas in the area and has established gardens that ensure the pool and BBQ areas are very secluded. The pool is large compared to pools in other villas and is in an excellent position, getting the sun all day until the very end of the day when it sets behind the mountains to the west of the Villa. The accommodation is large and is in very good condition with all the facilities required. Although the villa is not air conditioned there are fans in all bedrooms and in the lounge which provide a breeze during the hotter nights (we visited in mid August when daytime temperatures were 40 degrees and night time temperatures in the mid twenties and found the fans worked well to cool the rooms). The balcony at the front of the villa is excellent for watching the sun go down while having a drink before setting off to town for the night out. The villa is on the start of a hill that is not too steep for walking, although it can be a bit stoney on some of the side roads. If you turn right from the villa you can be in Hisaronu within 10 minutes, however it is also worth turning left from the villa where you can have excellent mountain views all the way to the sea within a 10 minute walk (head towards the mobile phone mast and then keep going left along the path to see these views). We found tortoises and lizards during our walk on one of the cooler (mid 30°) days. The bushes around the villa and the surrounding streets were sprayed with insect repellent twice a week during our stay and the windows at the villa are fitted with anti-insect mesh protectors, so there wasn't a mosquito problem (we only saw two mosquitoes during our stay). The mesh protection means that you can also leave the windows open at night to add some extra breeze. Suleyman attended to clean the pool and water the gardens every day, but this was at around 7.00am before we woke up, so this didn't cause us any inconvenience at all. Hisaronu itself has grown over the last 10 years and there is a massive range of restaurants and bars to visit - so much so that we didn't need to visit any restaurant twice during the stay. Of particular note were the Shanghi Blues, Dominos and Mamma Mia's restaurants. Meals cost around 20YTL (£8) per person, a large beer around 3YTL (£1.20) and a bottle of wine in a restaurant around 20YTL (£8). Cocktails were on offer for 5YTL (£2) at many bars down the main street. The restaurants offered all types of food – Italian, Indian, Chinese, English and even Turkish. We also stayed in the villa three nights during our stay to recharge our batteries, cooking on the barbeque on the back patio. It may be worth watching a couple of Ray Mears episodes before visiting to know how to light a BBQ - either that or take two children who can make the fire for you ! Although there are a good range of bars in Hisaronu the atmosphere is not "rowdy" (we live in Blackpool so know what rowdy means). When we visited Hisaronu it was the height of the summer holidays and there were a lot of families and couples in the town but not too many groups of “partygoers” as there may be in other resorts, (which suited us with our two children). There are a good number of bars, nightclubs and Karaoke bars in the resort, so you can stay out all night or have your fill of foam partying if you feel like it. Many bars have nightly entertainment (belly dancers, fire eaters etc.) and many also have free pool tables and Sky Sports, so there is plenty to keep all the family entertained. There are two large supermarkets in Hisaronu - Azda and Midros, which are both around a 15 minute walk from the villa just off the main street. These sell everything that you need for the holiday, including a good range of English brands if required. If you have lots of bags there is a bell press outside the Azda that will call a taxi and it is 8YTL (just over £3) for the taxi back to the Villa. There are also a number of local supermarkets nearer to the villa if you need bread, water, ice lollies etc. There is a market in Hisaronu on a Monday and in Fethiye on a Tuesday. Fethiye can be reached by Dolmus on the main road and costs 2.5YTL (£1) per person each way. The usual range of "quality imitation" goods can be purchased at the market (for example 5 branded T Shirts for £10) or from the many shops in Hisaronu. If you take the Dolmus in the other direction it is 2.25YTL per person to get to Olu Deniz beach and the ride takes around 5 minutes down the hill. A taxi to Olu Deniz is 12YTL if you prefer, but the Dolmus's run every few minutes and are air conditioned. Dolmus's or taxis can be used to visit other beaches in the area (Calis beach is also known as the breezy beach if gets too hot) or the aqua park in Fethiye. We bartered both in the markets and in the shops (not the supermarket) to get better pricing on anything we bought, including the trips that are easily arranged. The jeep safari is a good way to see the countryside around the area - but remember to take your water guns and sweets for the village children who run out to shout "Hallo" as the jeeps pass by. Other jeeps and hosepipe users are waiting for the jeep safaris to pass by - so be prepared to get wet as you go ! The mountains around the villa are an excellent back drop and you can spend the day around the pool (watching parasailors descending from the mountain), at the beach or in the town. Villa Cennet is a great place to stay for two weeks to be away from everything when you want to be, but still close enough to enjoy all of the facilities of a thriving holiday town. As the pool is yours for the duration, there is no need to get up early to reserve your sun beds, so you can lie in as much as possible and still be sure that a sun bed by the pool will be available for you. You can stay in and have a BBQ, or visit one of the many restaurants and bars in Hisaronu. We would highly recommend the Villa Cennet for a holiday and will be looking to return in the near future. "

"We found that the villa was in an excellent location - just a 10 minute walk from the town. The pool was excellent but we felt that Suleyman the gardener visited too frequently (3 times a day!) and this invaded our privacy more than we would have liked. Also, we thought that the lighting could have been better, as they were dim and we found it hard to read. Overall we enjoyed staying at the villa and had a fantastic holiday. We would definately return to HIsaronu but would not stay in this villa again."

Owner reply: :
Thank you for you evaluation of Villa Cennet. In the past 5 years of owning the Villa I have never had any complaints about lighting being too dim or indeed reference made to Suleyman the gardener visiting too often. In fact most have our guests have found him to be friendly and genuinely helpful.

However upon saying this I aim to please all of our guests and will ensure that brighter light bulbs are put into the rooms as appropriate. With reference to the gardener it may be that he had to visit frequently on occasion due to the fact that there was a heatwave at the time and the garden would have required further watering and regular attention? I will check with him and rectify if necessary..

Thank you for your feedback,

Eddie King

"

Large comfortable villa, with great pool and gardens. Surrounded with stunning mountain views. Our pool man/gardener Suleiman looked after us very well and always with a smile. The villa was also kept spotless for us. Very quiet relaxing holiday, but near to entertainment if you want it. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance, with very good service. The local people made us very welcome. It all made for a great holiday and I can’t recommend it enough.

"This holiday was fantastic! For both those who want to have a lazy holiday and relax around the pool, and for those who want to do activities as there is plenty to do within 10 minutes drive of the villa. The villa is beautiful and everyone that worked there was friendly. Thanks for a great time and we will definatley consider returning!"

"Ginny White - Holiday period from:15th August - 29th August.

Dear Mr King

Just a note to thank you for our holiday...everything from start to finish ran smoothly. Villa Cennet is a beautiful holiday home and the location couldn't have been better...we didn't bother with car hire as the buses were much more fun! Ilker and Suleyman were very pleasant and helpful and your villa is kept in tip top condition by all. The surrounding villas appeared to be finished, but unoccupied and so made for a relaxing holiday, i will certainly recommend our stay to others. Thankyou once again for enabling us to have such an enjoyable holiday.

Ginny

"Dear Eddie

Many thanks for an excellent holiday. I've been meaning to drop you a line since we got back, but various things here (builders, decorators etc) have got in the way. But anyway, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and I'm very happy to give you some feedback.

Villa Cennet is lovely and we all really appreciated being there. The pool was delightful - in short, it gave us everything we wanted. The only improvements we might suggest would be mosquito killer plugs in the bedrooms (we bought some) and bigger sheets for the double beds.

As to the cleaning services, Suleiman and his friend were working on the garden and the pool every day and kept both looking superb. In the house, Felice(?) was extremely thorough the first week - she was also very helpful when we left the house keys behind once - but we didn't see her during our second week.

Nail was wonderfully helpful throughout, not only about the keys, but also for other little matters, such as hiring a car (and sorting it out when it broke down). I have emailed him to thank him for such great service.

To sum up, we all had a great time - cloudless skies throughout of course...

Best wishes

Mike

"Dear Eddie

I felt that I had to you givew you feedback on our 2 week holiday in your lovely Villa.

We had a smashing time - the photograps on the website and in your brochure do not do it justice. We were well looked after by your property manager and the delightful Suleyman your Gardener/Poolman.

We are seriously thinking of booking the same two weeks next year ( 6th - 20th Sept).

Thank you

Monica and Sid Mann"

"Had an absolutely brilliant time. The Villa was as we expected to be and more... The boys spent a lot of the time in and around the pool. There were good surrounging views in a nice quiet location.

The cleaning and property management were of a high standard.

Seriously thinking of buying a villa in close proximity to Villa Cennet.

The Robbins Family"
