| "Sharon’s Dordogne gite is a delight. From the moment we arrived we felt at home. We were served a delicious home cooked meal, complete with local wine, on our arrival and that set the tone for the whole holiday. The gite is welcoming and relaxing. It’s pretty entrance – mind the fig tree – opens into a TV lounge which our boys loved. The kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils and equipment a family needs. The bedrooms are comfortable and quaint, located on the upper part of this converted barn. We made great use of the fantastic pool, shady garden & BBQ – in fact most of our time was spent outside enjoying the sunshine and peace and quiet of rural France. It’s a super base for excursions to the beautiful town of Brantome (great restaurants, market and local shops) and for exploring further afield – vineyards in Bergerac, Perigueux, and kayaking down the Dronne River. Most of all we relaxed and we can’t praise Sharon highly enough – her welcome, friendly attitude, coupled with the great advice she is able to offer about the local area is invaluable and really added to our holiday. We’ll definitely visit again."

| "A spendid escape for a holiday. We arrived to a delicious lunch that Sharon had provided for us and some very welcome wine.
The house is very sweet and has some lovely features and the pool was everything the boys could have hoped for. Great that it has very few chemicals in it.
Sharon is lovely, so friendly and a great source of information and Oscar the dog was a huge hit with the 2 boys who loved playing with him.
We all had a thoroughly relaxing stay and were very sad to leave. Would have stayed if someone wasnt due in to the house the day after our departure.
Thanks again for a super family holiday.

| "We had a fabulous holiday at Chez Kansei. The property had so much character and was brilliantly clean for us on arrival. We loved the welcome basket and the dishwasher! We had asked for an arrival meal to be prepared which was fantastic. Thanks to Sharon for organising and being such a great help in all aspects of our stay. Brantome is stunningly pretty with so much to do, we could easily have stayed much longer. Our favourite pastime was lazing by or splashing about in the lovely pool. The entire family, including Nutmeg our four legged friend, had the most wonderful time."

| "We spent two weeks here and had a fantastic time - it was truly a memorable experience. From the moment we pulled up Sharon was right there to greet us and if we needed anything she was on it immediately. By the end of our visit we really hated to leave. Mornings were quite and there were numerous walks to explore the area. The afternoons were perfect for sitting by the pool. Brantome is a wonderful town to walk around and Sharon gave us great recommendations on dining spots. You can be active and bike, kayak, walk or swim; or the more leisurely path of sightseeing and shopping nearby. But the favorite by far was sitting by the pool and enjoying the garden. There are so many beautiful plants and a lovely walkway and courtyard. Enjoy your stay!"

Thanks to Claire & Adrian & family for being THE perfect guests. From being lots of fun and great to chat with, to ensuring the holiday home was left as clean as it was when they first arrived. It was so clean there was hardly anything for me to do!! It was an absolute pleasure to have them stay and I look forward to having many more guests like them.

"When looking for a holiday I was looking for some where just to chill out and this is what I found.
Sharon was more than helpful and would do anything to make the experience as enjoyable as possible from booking local restaurants to giving ideas on where to visit.
The Holiday was as relaxing or as busy as you like from laying by the pool to canoeing in Brantone.
