| "Just returned from my third stay at this appartment which, as always, suited our needs perfectly.
It is in a quiet location (though the main road is a constant drone) but only a short drive/walk into Puerto Banus town and harbour.
The appartment is clean and has everything you need for a pleasant holiday. And the pool is delightful.
Hopefully, we'll be back again at some point.

The dual-carriageway is over 100 metres from the apartment and most tenants like the fact that it is so handy to access the carriageway which takes one along the coast and has a bus stop literally 200 metres from the apartment. Granted it is a busy road but rest assured there are underpasses for walking to the Port and you dont have to cross the dual carriageway.

| "Apartment far exceeded our expectations. Excellent facilities such as Satellite T.V. with English channels (nice to be able to watch my favourite soaps), Air-conditioning, all mod cons in the kitchen for when we decided to eat in. Quiet surroundings and two lovely pool areas in which to relax the hours away. Apartment is perfectly located for the Port and the beach and was very keenly priced for a property so close to Puerto Banus. Some great restaurants nearby and enjoyed the odd flutter in the Casino down the road. Found the public transport easy to use and very handy to have the bus stop only 200 metres away. Of course the sun shone all week and helped in no small way towards a most enjoyable Christmas. We'll be back!"

"The apartment complex is set in a residential area which was very quiet and private. The apartment itself was a good 2 bed with all the necessary facilities - the only problem we had was with the gas boiler but once you know how to operate it, it wasnt a problem. The apartment is about a fifteen minute walk from the port - which was fine for us and meant we got some exercise every day.. but on the days we felt lazy a cab was only about €6. The only bad part about the walk into the port is the 200m stretch from the apartment to the underground walkway where you have to walk along the main road - which is extremely busy and noisy!!
Overall it was good value and a nice apartment and we had a great time! However, purely for personal preference I would probably stay a bit closer to the port on my next visit."

I would just like to say that this apartment offers extremely good value bearing in mind that it is only a 15 min. walk to the resort of Puerto Banus. An apartment closer to the Port will set you back a tidy sum.

"Overall a great apartment in an ideal location. The pool areas were always very quiet and empty. Only one complaint, the shower only trickled and we had to resort to baths and a jug!"

I wrote to you separately regarding the problem with the shower. My property manager has since fixed the problem with the shower water pressure. I did explain to Bryony that she should have contacted my manager (contact details were given) to have the problem rectified on the spot). I have offered Bryony a discount on any other booking that she may make with me as a good will gesture.

| "This apartment is based about a 10 minute walk from the main centre of Puerto Banus and made it ideal for access to all the local amenities, golf, restaurants and nightlife. Inside it is well looked after with all the facilities you'd expect from a good apartment including air con, washing machine and full cooking facilities. It is also located next to a main road from where you can get to other major resorts. I would thoroughly recommend this apartment to my friends"

"very basic, no local shop, very uncomfortable sofa. If your looking for a basic cheap room with a bed then this will suit. Cleanliness was also at aminimun. Beware next door neighbour has 2 dogs that live there all year round so peace won't be found here."

This is a reply from the owner of Lorcrimar-1 apartment responding to Eoin's review of 11/3/06.
I feel Eoin has given this unfavourable review because I found it necessary, for the first time ever, to withhold some of his Security/Cleaning Deposit as the apartment was left in a very dirty state by his party. Eoin was obviously not happy to have to forfeit part of his deposit eventhough the reason was fully explained to him. Believe me no deposits are withheld by me unless the apartment is left in the condition that it was by Eoin and his party.
I would advise any prospective renter to carefully look at some of the other reviews from renters who have stayed in my apartment and they will see a true reflection of the standard of the accommodation and its location and that they are at variance to Eoin's review.

| "Had a great holiday, the apartment was a great base and was a nice place to spend some time in too. The owners have really thought of little things to make the stay very comfortable and easy especially with two small children, very nicely furnished and equipped. Would recommend it and if I visited this area again I would definately stay there again."

With regard to the noise from the busy road, this road is over 100 metres from the apartment and is does not interfere with the tranquility of the apartment itself. There is sound proof glass all around the pool area but the noise of the traffic does still have an effect while in the pool area."

It was situated in a good area, within easy walking distance of Puerto Banus and also close to local shops etc. The 2 pools were of excellent standard and always clean, this is where we spent alot of our time! Also the apartment was really close to the bus stop which means you can easily go to neighbouring towns. I would definitely return here again."

| "The property is in an excellent location about 15 minute walk from the centre of Puerto Banus. The apartment is very comfortable with lots of space and an excellent air-con system. The apartment block is very quiet with two relaxing pools beside it which are kept very clean and looked after.
I would definately use this apartment again for another holiday and would highly recommend it to anyone wishing to stay in the area. It is excellent value for money and kept to a very high standard."

"My wife and I (with our 6 and a half year old boy) had the pleasure of
staying in Martin's apartment for the first week of September 2004.
Our arrangements were made very late - in fact we came to stay (having
stayed here before) because we were not satisfied with the other
accommodation that we had taken. Needless to say, that other accommodation
was not at Lorcrimar.
We had all necessary help from Martin's local agent, Simon Nye, in respect
of the booking and the collection of keys.
The weather was beautiful save for one drizzly day, and Puerto Banus was
relatively quiet. We had no difficulty getting a table for lunch at any time
at any restaurant in town. Having Cameron resistant to siestas made us less
nocturnal than Anya or I would have liked, and it made the "buzz" of the
port a little less apparent, but it did allow us to relax in the shade in
the heat of the day.
We spent a deal of time by the pools at Lorcrimar, where Cameron soon made
friends with the (same age) daughter of a local resident and his swimming
skills developed pace.
The pools were clean and were a comfortable temperature. There was never a
problem in getting a sun lounger.
The apartment was spotless and all services worked perfectly. It was a
delight to have the use of a dishwasher (unlike the "other" place!).
Plenty of hot water, secure accommodation positioned in a great place and
with help (in the form of Simon) available on (reasonable) demand - what
more could we want?
We have stayed in Martin's apartment twice now, and are satisfied that it is
the nicest and most relaxing of all the places we have visited in the
region.
