| "This property was exactly as described on the website and offered spacious living quarters and a pleasant and private outside garden to use for dining or relaxing in the sun. Although there is a bathroom and a separate toilet room the only thing this property lacks is an ensuite facility. This would just make things easier if two couples were staying as there was in our case. A cot was provided for our young child and as there are no stairs he was completely safe in this property. The area itself is very quiet, in the end it proved too quiet for us but it would suit as a great base to visit the many local areas nearby. Jacqueline was delightful and friendly as were her family living nearby, the people in the town are also very friendly and are almost horizontal with their relaxed attitiude to life. This property is well recommended."

| "The property was exactly what I requested - top quality with some considerable character in a quiet village not inundated with tourists.
The owner went to exceptional trouble to ensure that we were happy throughout our stay. We really appreciated the extra little touches like the fresh provisions in the fridge on arrival. There was also a determination that we would enjoy the local Bergerac wines because a bottle appeared every few days.
We were also offerred the unexpected use of a swimming pool some 500m away. The village of Issac is quiet and pretty although it is some distance away from the most visited aprts of the Dordogne.
Finally the VFM of this property was exceptional.

| "We had a wonderful stay at the house. It is a pretty property, with all conveniences. Jacqueline was extremely kind and generous, making sure we had the essential food items for when we arrived. Issac itself is a pretty village with just one shop/restaurant, but there are supermarkets fifteen minutes away.
There are some lovely villages and chateaux to explore nearby, and also a great lake with a beach that you can swim in. It only took 30 minutes to get to Bergerac and other parts of the Dordogne region. I would definitely recommend it to friends who want a restful stay in France.

| "From an English prospective, this is a quaint and very 'French' property, situated in the small village of Issac.
We were impressed with the size and decor of the property and were given a warm and friendly welcome by the owner, Jacqueline.
If you are looking for accomodation from which to explore the Dordogne, either as a holiday base or for house hunting, then give this property your serious consideration.
It is excellent value for money.
And there are some lovely walks for the warm summer evenings on the doorstep!"
