| "A lovely apartment, well equipped and very clean. Excellent terrace with lots of space and sunny all afternoon and into the evening. The location was a little far away from the centre of Ayia Napa - about a half hour walk or 8 Euros in a taxi. There are a lot of restaurants/bars within a 10 minute walk though, en route to the centre.
The only thing we didnt like was the surrounding area as the buildings were all in very close proximity to one another and no plants/trees yet, meaning no privacy. This will probably improve with time as the area matures but, at the moment, its a bit of a concrete jungle.
Overall, I would recommend this apartment to couples who want a relaxing holiday, not too close to the centre of things and like to spend their day on their own private terrace where you dont have to fight for a sunbed each day!"

"great location, really clean and modern. only one negative was the settee it was worn and the material sticks to your skin so was constantly covered in brown dots!!!! the balcony is HUGE and we really enjoyed sitting out on it even in december!!!!!"

Thankyou for your review, your comments taken on board. The sofabed/settee seating cushions have now been recovered. The single seater sofa cushions look like they may have the same issue so they are being recovered towards the end of the summer season. kind regards R

"Generally happy with the accomodation. Lovely big terrace. Fantastic beach which is easy to walk to.
The sofa bed, however, is not comfortable and suitable for young(ish) children only to sleep on. The main bed is very comfortable. The pool was a little cloudy so we didnt go in - not that we minded since the sea at Nissi beach is like a big swimming pool anyway.
Big saucepan and wooden spoon would be handy."

We really appreciate your comments, good and not so good! The sofa bed - a mattress protector and mattress enhancer have now been put on the sofa bed mattress to improve comfort. The pool area - after a few problems with the site maintenance company towards the end of 2008, we have now employed a different company to look after the communal areas and pool and they have been doing a really good job so there shouldnt be any problems this season. Big saucepan and wooden spoon - this has been purchased and is ready for use in the apartment! Im glad you enjoyed the apartment and your holiday. kind regards R

| "When we arrived at the apartment we were really pleased with how nice it was. Very minimalist, light and cool. The terrace is large and very pleasant and the whole appartment felt roomy and comfortable.
The owners have supplied pretty much anything you could want in the kitchen and it is clearly looked after. We had a fantastic holiday and would definately go back!"

"very spacious, and very well equiped, not lit very well in the evening, a few minor problems, towel rail fell off the wall when removed towel, shower rail fell down when curtain pulled plus floor gets flooded when showering, also little touches like no bedside lights for reading, also lots of building works right next to swimming pool which kicked up lots of dust not very pleasant."

Additional note - thankyou for your comments about the bedside lights. Bedside lamps have now been purchased for the bedroom for reading and I hope this improves the enjoyment of the apartment for renters. kind regards R
Gerry, thank you for letting me know about the apartment. We try to continually improve the apartment for the enjoyment of our renters. On recommendation from our renters we have in the recent past made improvements such as installing a new Safe, installing ceiling fans, installing a shower pump and updating the apartment booklet with hints and suggestions. I am sorry to hear you have had a few problems with the bathroom and pool. We have taken immediate steps to fix the towel and shower rail. In terms of the building works you refer to, I have been advised that this relates to another development called Nissi Eleanor 3 which was due for completion this summer, located approximately 200m east of the complex pool. As the final apartments are handed over and the finishing touches to the nearby development are completed the effect of dust should reduce significantly. Fortunately this work has not affected the enjoyment of the apartment as it faces west and looks over the rest of the Nissi Golden Sands complex. Overall I hope you enjoyed your stay and will be visiting Cyprus again soon, kind regards

| "We thought that this apartment was fantastic. Lovely modern decor and very well equipped. The balcony is a really good size with comfy sun loungers. It gets full sun all afternoon/evening so nice views of the sunset. The complex was very quiet when we stayed in June and we had the communal pool to ourselves most of the time. The pool area was nice and very clean. There is still some building going on on one side of the pool area, but it didnt spoil it for us.
The location is very good. We walked into the centre of Ayia Napa most nights. It took us about 25 mins to walk, or a taxi was about 8 euros. There are also plenty of bars/restaurants nearby if you dont fancy going into the centre.
It is only a couple of minutes walk to Nissi Beach. We had thought from the directions that the complex was actually on Nissi Ave, but it is on the road that comes off Nissi Ave, behind the Aeneas Hotel.
This was our fourth time in Ayia Napa, but by far the best accommodation we have stayed in. We will definitely be back!"

| "my husband and i have been going to cyprus since 1995. nissi golden sands apartment is the nicest apartment we have stayed in beautiful and comfortable. the balcony was a bonus with plenty of room for sun loungers as was the apartment very nice size . furnishing finished to very high standard if we go back to cyprus we would like to stay in this apartment again."

| "We stayed at this apartment May 2008. It was in a really good location, close to all amenities yet quiet. A few minutes walk away were bars/restaurants, some small supermarkets and Nissi beach. Diones restaurant, just past Adams Beach Hotel (going towards Macronissos) is well worth a visit.
The balcony was huge, ideal for sunbathing with lovely views. Inside was nicely furnished with a very comfy bed! The apartment was also cleaned 3 times a week.
The only downside we found, which isnt really related to the apartment, was that the complex wasnt lit at night. This made it really difficult to see when returning in the evening. However the entrance to this apartment was at the beginning of the complex meaning the problem wasnt as bad as it could have been, as we didnt have far to walk.
Overall we really liked the apartment."

| "The actual property was excellent decorated to a very high standard, fully equipped with all necessary appliances, crockery, cutlery, etc and extremely comfortable. We were unable to use the pool as there was still a lot of building work going on. The main road into the apartment was unlit and unfinished, and the workmen arrived at 7.30am evry morning except Sundays until about 4pm each day. We rise early anyway and were out most days but it was sometimes inconveniant. It is still very much a work in progress. In saying all this I would not hesitate to go back next year if I could be reassured that all building was completed as the only faults were external and when this complex is completed I am sure it will be lovely"

| "This apartment is excellent in every single way, very close to Nissi Beach and the popular Adams Beach Hotel (I went there for a wedding and it is only a 5 minute walk).
The apartment is spacious, superbly equipped, modern, the sun terrace is huge and has great views, especially of the sunsets!
There is a small supermarket less than a minutes walk, an ATM a 15 minute stroll away. A 5 minute taxi drive takes you right into Ayia Napa for about £5 Cypriot. TIP: If your getting a taxi back, tell the driver that your going to the Nissiana Bungalows or next to the football grounds (which is a training complex, not a stadium) as the complex is still new and not many taxi drivers know the name of the place yet.
The location is great because you are off the busy main road so there is hardly any traffic noise at all.
Some of the people I went with who stayed in other complexes were mortified when they saw how good this apartment was compared to theirs and when I told them how much I paid for the week, they said they had paid at least £100 more for the same week in a worse location.
The owner was brilliant with me and I will be rebooking this apartment for next year as I really want to go back and see how the complex looks once the last houses are completed, but it will look stunning.
To sum up, brilliant apartment, excellent location, fantastically furnished and superbly priced. 10 out of 10
