| "The villa is beautiful and set in peaceful, tree-lined mountains which were very picturesque. The villa itself has good quality fittings, was very clean, spacious...the kitchen was fully equipped and we were very fortunate that the previous occupant left lots of food! Bonus! It really is a 5 star villa. The management company were good and reacted in a reasonable time to our problems.
I would recommend this villa to those looking for a peaceful, away from it all location as the nearest good restaurant is 15 mins away and the nearest tourist resorts were 25 mins away. Sarigerme beach is about 25 mins away but you have to park, then wait for a tractor then pay again to access the beach then pay again for loungers! It took about an hour to get on the beach. Turtle beach (Izitsu) is lovely and takes about 35mins by car if you continue through Dalyan....a little too remote for our family.
My tips for the owners are.....1. Leave ant killer available as the maintenance guy killed the ants he saw but didnt leave any for others so we bought our own 2. As there was no maid service in the 15 days we were there some cleaning products should be made available for the guests to use (if they wish)"

| "Everything about this property exceeded our expectations from the car hire company meeting us at the airport and taking us to the villa ( what service !) to the location and decor of the villa . Maybe the isolation of the villa is not to everyones taste - you definately need a car and do need to drive everywhere- however for us it was perfect . The site maintenance support was excellent and so friendly and the villa owner ensured that clear details of local amenities/contacts etc were sent to us before our holiday in addition to a detailed information file left in the villa. We found the villa clean and well resourced which included basic food supplies ( water, tea, bread butter jam etc) and wanted for nothing. There is no maid service however and my only slight critisism was the lack of cleaning materials. However overall I couldnt fault the whole holiday experience from the hospitable & friendly locals, fantastic food, wonderful beaches and sights and of course the villa. Thank you so much to the owners and we are booking next year as long as we can still get in !!"

| "The Villa Izzy was wonderfully spacious, in a beautiful setting and amazingly well appointed. We are a group of ladies who have taken villa holidays over many years in Spain, Portugal and Mallorca and this was by far the nicest place we have ever rented, yet it represented great value for money! The furnishings and facilities were first class and the pick up arrangements went very smoothly, despite us arriving in the middle of the night with one of our group having lost a bag in flight! As suggested by the owners, we rented a vehicle from Ahmet who was extremely helpful and really went the extra mile to ensure our stay was enjoyable. The people carrier we rented had automatic transmission and was really easy to drive! Although Villa Izzy is off the beaten track it was only a short drive to the beach, Gocek and Dalyan. One of our party has diabilities and we were specially impressed with the beach at Sarigerme which had great facilities for wheelchair users! We did have some significant problems with water which were beyond the control of the propertys owners, but I am happy to say the problem was finally resolved to everyones satisfaction. We are keen to rent again next year and would have no hesitation in recommending this villa to others."

| "We had the pleasure of staying in Villa Izzy for seven nights in May. It was absolutely amazing - actually the best villa we saw during our whole time in the area! Set high in the quiet development, the villa is not overlooked in any way and the view from the terrace and balcony over the surrounding hills was stunning.
The British owners clearly love this place and holiday there themselves - how do I know? well its because everything a family might need is there - everything from board games, novels, CDs and DVDs for those quiet nights or rainy days in to a selec tion of toys for young children and enough bean bags, sunloungers and crockery for many people to live comfortably. It IS a home from home and, I have to say, is IMACULATE throughout looking pretty much brand new. The fit and finish would put most British new buildings to shame. The marble flooring is cool underfoot and of high standard as are all three bathrooms and the kitchen. All the furniture is high quality and the beds very comfortable. The pool is of a good size and cleaned everyday. I thought the pictures looked pretty good, but believe me, they dont do Villa Izzy justice - its stunning!
Points to note: well you really do need a hire car as its quite tucked away. The owner kindly booked us a hire car and a very nice man called Ahmed met us from Dalaman airport with our car and, once the paperwork was done, escorted us to the villa, let us in and showed us around - great service and the car was only £20 per day (he even accepted Stirling!). The speed limits are very low in Turkey. Most roads are 50kmh and the alchohol limit is very low too, so be careful as there are surprising number of traffic police.
I recommend visiting Dalyan, a lovely place about 20minutes down the road, great restaurants and wonderful boat trips - we went almost everyday!
Anyway, back to Villa IZZY. How can I put this in a way that sums up how much we liked it and how much better it is than anywhere else we saw? Okay... Its Waitrose compared to Lidl, Its a Rolex compared to a Casio, Its a Bentley compared to a Fiesta. Its Elvis over Shakin Stevens...Hell, its.. its an Obama over a Bush!!
GO THERE, book it, have fun. Well be back - soon!

"Villa Izzy is the ideal villa for a family or a group. Its extremely spacious (biggest villa we have ever booked) and is perfect for adults to relax and children to run around. The outside space is also excellent with plenty of room for lounging by the gorgeous pool, eating at the lovely big outside table next to the outdoor BBQ or to simply enjoy the sensational views. And there is plenty to do when you want to leave the villa (which you mostly won't!) There are some beautiful fishing ports and marinas nearby and some great entertainment for both children and adults. And the food is gorgeous everywhere you go. It was one of the best holidays we have ever had and are really looking forward to going back.

"A little too rural for us. There was nowhere to go of a night as Gocek and Dalyan was quite a drive away and there was nothing in Dalaman itself. Could have been a lot more helpful information in the villa information book. We didnt know there was no maid service after the first week. There was a welcome pack with milk etc. but no teabags, coffee or sugar. Just a small amount would have been helpful especially if youre a late arrival. No tupperware type storage pots to put anything in, not even any salt & pepper. In fact there was absolutely nothing. Not even any cleaning stuff to keep the villa clean. It said torches were provided in the bottom drawer, but they had no batteries in them. There were no spare bulbs for the living area lights and most of them were out. Also the batteries were nearly run down in the TV hand controls, so we had great trouble with that. Renters should not have to provide this stuff for the owner of the villa. Also no information as to what to do with the villa keys on departure. We had to telephone to get the info we needed. Villa was lovely and the views stunning, but just a couple of little improvements would help a lot."

Dear Linda
Thank you for your recent review. I have taken on board your comments and have investigated a few of the points that I was not happy about. To reply, re the light bulbs in the villa of course we would not expect our customers to buy/replenish the light bulbs. They are checked at every handover/maid service and to confirm, they were all working perfectly before you rented ‘Villa Izzy’ and are again now. After some investigation, we have realised that for some unknown reason, something must have tripped a section of the lights off whilst you were there, and this is why it appeared that quite a few bulbs had gone. The trip switch boxes are easily accessible on the walls of the villa, in case this happens to anyone else in the future.
I have asked our maintenance lady to include some tea bags in the welcome pack and will buy some tupperware pots etc, in case anyone else is of the same opinion. (I actually thought I had provided everything I possibly could have in the kitchen, but I guess there is always something else.)
I will also ask my maintenance lady to double check the emergency torches and the TV controller batteries. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
Re the villa keys, I thought it was fairly obvious that you would hand them back to the person that gave them to you upon arrival, (i.e the hire car man) but I will add this to the villa information folder too.
I am pleased you thought the standard of the villa was lovely and appreciated the amazing setting, although it was a little too rural for you. I guess this is the main thing when choosing a villa to rent.
All in all I hope you had a good time whilst staying in ‘Villa Izzy’ and enjoyed the good food and beautiful, laid back feel of Dalaman. We really appreciate your feedback, as this is the only way we can assure our villa is one of the best in the area!

| "We really had a holiday of our lifetime at Izzy Villa. Right from the start, it was perfect. Claire, the owner left no stone unturned to ensure that we had a great time at her villa. The villarenters website was very user friendly. The arrangements for the pick up of the keys, car hire through Mr.Ahmet, the maintainence of the pool on a daily basis by the always smiling Ali, the cleanliness of the property, .... (I could go on and on and bore you) was par excellence. Without the slightest of hesitation I would strongly recommend this villa to anyone who wants to have a great time in Dalaman. It was described by Claire as a Hidden Gem, it turned out to be the Hidden Kohinoor."

"Thank you for a most enjoyable and relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle of ‘normal’ working life in the UK. The private pool made our stay a bliss with two children in tow, as with the beautiful scenery around. By day we toured the local towns/villages and by night we cooked away on the bbq at the villa, played in the pool and then relaxed on the sun beds watching the stars above. The villa itself was beautiful and extremely clean and tidy. The mini bus hire was a must have due to the villa’s location, and a good touch of them meeting us all at the airport due to our late flight arrival. We will be returning again in the future.

"My first thought as I walked into Villa Izzy was “the photos don’t do it justice”. I was impressed! It is an extremely well maintained, clean and large luxurious villa. The fixtures and fittings are obviously of excellent quality. My husband and I stayed with our 2.5 year old son, and four other adults, and we all had plenty of space. The beds are very comfortable and the complex has 24 hour security, making for a good nights sleep. This villa is ideal if you have children as they are well catered for (with little touches that make a difference e.g. children’s plates/cutlery, high chair, bath toys and inflatables). It is the uppermost villa, meaning its not overlooked which is a bonus. It’s lovely having the pool area to relax around, the sun loungers are very comfortable and it was great having the large parasol to provide shade for my son. You will need a car – if you’re a nervous driver (like me) – trust me, driving in this region is surprisingly easy. We used the owner-recommended company AS Car Rentals who were faultless. My family and I had a fantastic holiday, with no regrets – we would highly recommend booking Villa Izzy.

"Having been to Villa Izzy two years running we have explored the
surrounding area especially Gocek and Dalyan and have thoroughly
enjoyed our time. The villa is very spacious and has everything you
would need for a good holiday including the sun soaked swimming pool.
For those middle of the day hot temeratures the covered terrace area complete with tables and chairs is ideal for a cool off, and you can also watch the beautiful sun set from here.

| "The property and surrounding areas were absolutely wonderful. The villa is first class, and the staff on the complex were some of the most friendly and helpful people we have ever met. My only reccomendation is that car hire is a must!!!! If you arel ooking for peace and tranquility, this is the place. Definitely try the Ley Ley restaurant in Dalyan whilst there, they will collect you and bring you back at the end of your evening to give the driver a night off!!"

| "The property was fantastic. Large rooms with plenty of space. The pool was lovely and the situation was perfect for getting away from everything. Very satisfied with everything.
The only let down was the electricity and water supplies - completely out of the control of the owners of the property.
The situation means that a car is required and walking to shops etc was not an option. But again, lovely position at the base of the hills there.

'Villa Izzy' was all that I expected and more.
From the welcoming at the airport, the comfort of the villa and the tranquil surroundings, we couldn't have wished for more.
The villa was spacious and the air-conditioning was a real bonus. I tried the outdoor BBQ and it was a great success for a change
There was plenty to do and discover in Dalaman, as well as a joy to come back and relax by the swimming pool.
We found the locals to be very warm and helpful, especially eating out, where the prices were surprisingly inexpensive.
We will definitely be going back again next year!
