"The property itself was very nice however we were extremley disapointed in the building work. I still have a copy of the e-mail which clearly states there was no building work in the area, I e-mailed prior to departure as we did NOT want to be on a building site due to our 12 week baby and my husbands 72 year old mother!
We were up at 7am every morning with two JCBs and a jack hammer facing stone, the pool area was covered in dust hence we were forced to go out every day as the noise was unbearable.
Ive previously stayed at Aphrodite Hills and been very happy as im in the Travel Industry Secret Valley would have been ideal location but the building work located on the site one house up as clearly put us off.
My husband is absoloutly furious he has taken video coverage as it was that bad, I can clearly say its the worst holiday we have ever encountered."

Hi Audrey,
May we first of all apologise profusely for the unforeseen to start of work to a building plot that has been vacant with no activity for around 18 months now. This was started without our prior knowledge and we did in fact advise you correctly at time of booking. From what the local property managers say, disturbance levels have been low due to the distance between the houses, but we understand that it will be better once the works are completed in Jan/Feb 2009. This will completely finish off this part of the Secret Valley complex which you have rightly identified as being an ideal location for a quiet relaxing holiday. I only hope that your positive comments about the villa itself and the fact we allowed you to stay an extra night after a mix up with your flights go some way to making up for this unfortunate circumstance. Thanks very much.
**Further Note- Jan 2009**- The house that was being constructed is now fully complete and there is no building work that can cause any disturbance in the immediate vicinity of this villa. Thanks again.

| "Villa Miranda provided us with a very relaxing base for a chilled out holiday and for sight seeing on the island. It is a true home from home and on a nice part of the complex which is quiet and maturing well. The village square at Kouklia gave a good choice of eateries and we enjoyed visiting the many beaches within short driving distance. We would recommend the villa to anyone looking for a quiet relaxing holiday in the sunshine. Thanks very much."

| "The property itself was excellent - every need provided for and the pool was cleaned twice weekly. The description of the house was accurate and the people who looked after the property were very helpful. The property is, however, quite remote - although the advertisement does state that a car is essential, the house is not within walking distance of any village, beach or even a shop. This suited us but might not suit everyone."
