| "On arriving at Casa Antonia I was immediately impressed. Its much larger than I expected and more than comfortably accomodated my family of 5 (sleeps 8). More importantly, it was clean and very comfortable with all the facilities you could hope for....washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, cable telly.
The area itself is very quiet and pleasant although my 3 children saw to it that it didnt stay peaceful for long. The communual pool is lovely, but again, surprisingly, the villa pool is perfect and deep enough to have a decent swim/dip. Yes, like others had mentioned, some of the tiles on the pools steps leading into it had slightly broken and caused a couple of minor scratches, but once we were aware of this, we were more careful and no other incidents occurred
I would strongly recommend a car to get about and to be able to explore the area and the many lovely beaches.....La Zenia, Horadada, to name a few.
Give Torrevieja a miss!
All in all we had a great holiday and I would love to revisit.
One final point regarding Amanda, the lady responsible for the villa. Someone previously mentioned she could have been a bit more friendly. I actually found her to be very helpful and flexible.
On arrival, we were able to access the villa early and left late on our departure day, which was a great help."

| "Lovely large villa for 2 families. Air-conditioning needed, mainly in bedrooms which are located on the lower floor. Broken tiles on steps of pool which caused cuts to2 children in our party. On the whole a great spacious location."

| "A beautiful villa, the photos dont do it justice. A lovely area with bars and restaurants within walking distance. An excellent supermarket provided us with all our needs for the week (We also named the hill "Cardiac Hill).
We had a really chilled out week, spending most of our time on the large sun terrace and at the pool in the glorious sunshine. A great bbq area, which we made the most of in the evenings, even watched a few of our fav tv programmes. The villa itself is nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. Could do with air conditioning, especially in the bedrooms. (it was a really hot week).
We had no complaints about the villa but felt that the lady (Amanda) who met us with keys, could have been a bit more friendly. We arrived an hour before the villa was ready, we were told we had to leave our cases outside and come back in an hour. Just as well our taxi hadnt gone! When we returned, Amanda informed us that the villa had been broken into the week before while the guests were in bed. (luckily our cases were still outside on our return!). She spent very little time showing us around and didnt tell us that there were alarms on the windows (which we found on our third night). Amanda also didnt mention that there is security alarm, or even provide us with the code. As we were 4 females, we did feel a little scared at night. Was also expecting Amanda to come and check the place before we left, but she sent the cleaner to collect the key, so no inspection was made.
Apart from the security issues, we all had a really enjoyable week.

| "The villa was great, very comfortable and extremely well presented, the only negative is the slightly strange layout but once you got used to it, it wasn't a problem. The pool is larger than it looks in the pictures.
The complex at the top of the hill provided us with everything we needed and I thoroughly recommend the 'Ole Bull' and 'Ole Sole Mio' restaurants, both provided fantastic service with delicious food.

| "We had a brillliant week from 20th - 27th August 2007 - A week really was not long enough.
The villa was spacious and well equipped. The pool was a lot of fun. Our children spent hours in it.
We had a really relaxing holiday exactly what we were looking for. A car is a good idea. We had one for a few days and this was a necessity.
The local super value is good value and walking distance. The beaches are a short drive away.
This was the first time we hd booked a villa holiday and we will certaintly be booking one again in the future.
We all had a lovely time at Casa Antonia."

| "Great valua for money. A sizeable villa that was well appointed. We stayed for two weeks and thoroughly enjoyed it. The area is not brilliant with the local shops and restuarants a little limited. However a great base for exploring the coast and at this price well worth it!!!!!!!!!"

| "Deceptively large villa well kitted out in a nice quiet area. Nice pool although better more direct access would be a bonus. The communal pool is very handy and only a stones throw from the property. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning. Great restaurants, great beaches all within a 5 minute drive."

"Lovely villa overall.
Nicely cool(ish) even in hot weather due to the bedrooms being underneath the living area and having ceiling fans.
Slightly odd having the pool on a different level to the sun terrace.
Disappointments are:
1) no change of sheets/towels during the fortnight (especially as the cleaning mandatory cleaning charge is high)
2) outside areas very dusty which turned sludgy around the pool because of the water (see comments about cleaning charge above)
3) never found a key to the communal pool
4) lack of information in the villa about local attractions, things to do, restaurants, etc.

Many thanks for you review and the points you've raise I shall discuss with our manager in Spain.
1. Clean linen and towels should have been provided at the property for you to use and this should have been made clear when you arrived. The cost of the 'end of visit clean' is, we believe, set at a reasonable level as it just covers our cost.
2. Unfortunately we cannot control the level of dust on the outside areas, this is due to the hot climate and believe me no matter how hard you clean it's back in minutes as I'm sure you will appreciate.
3. We have never needed a key for the pool and will take this up with the local community asap.
4. We actually left quite a lot of information at the Villa, however it does diminish over time as people use it.
I hope you enjoyed your holiday and as you can see from our other reviews most visitors are extremely happy with the Villa.

| "The villa it self was amazing and was even better than anything we could have imagined. The area is really good except for the bin men that come daily at 1am and the dogs that bark from 8am in the morning. The bars abd restraunts are really good but unfortunately are at the top of a hill which we named cardiac hill. The beaches nearby are gorgeous and i would recommend the banana boats to anyone.
The only problem we had with the villa its self was the fact that the pool was not cleaned in the 2 weeks we were there. We had to purchase are own net and clean the leaves and bugs out are self.
Some of this might put you off but it is one of the best holidays i have ever had and none of that stuff matters once you forget about it and get used to it."

| "We stayed at the villa for 2 weeks in June 2006 and loved chilling out on the massive sun deck with great long distance views to the sea.The large villa is well equipped and easily accomodates 8 adults. The pool was great for cooling off in and having fun but the walk down 2 flights of steps and across the sloping garden to reach it may be a problem for some. I would also suggest that the pool is not suitable for non swimmers as it gets deep very quickly. The villa is well situated in a quiet residential area with easy access from the motorway and only a 5 minute drive from the beach at La Zenia. The nearest commercial centre is at Los Dolses where there are plenty of bars and restaurants and is less than a 10 minute walk. There is not much in the area for those who like to shop and the ladies in our pary had to be taken much further away for their retail therapy. Overall this villa was exactly what we were looking for but it may not suit others becaus of the points I have made about the pool and steps."

| "We found this villa to be superb, everything was clean and comfortable. When we arrived we were surprised that there was no table and chairs on the large sun terrace, we mentioned this to the agent and when we arrived back after a day out, a brand new table and chair set greeted us! super value, lovely people and a great holiday!!"

| "my family and i had a great two weeks in this property. the owners were extremely helpful when i needed to contact them as was tracy the agent in spain. we had a small baby with us and it would have been useful to have had a gate at the top of the stairs leading down tto the beadrooms.
the only small critism i would have is that tthe two settees in the living rroom werte not very comfortable.but this did not detract from our enjoymentt of our holiday

| "Accommodation was excellent, very spacious. Everything you could need 'home from home' but no music system if required, take your own. Location for night life 10 Mins walk but with a steep hill to it. This was great value for money. I would recommend this for all. A car is advisable if wanting to sight see, but the beach is only 10 mins by taxi. Transfer through the owner when booking was punctual and could not be faulted."

it has a fully equiped kitchen, large sun terrace with beds, barbeque and oudoor fridge, and modern private pool.
It would easily accomodate eight adults, but there are plenty of stairs and local amenities a ten minute walk."
