"The property was satisfactory, however, the reception area was unstaffed. We had to call villa rentals to find our unit. Fortunately most everything in the bungalow was functioning. Kitchen/dining space very limited for 5 persons. Laundry facilities non existant.
Would not recommend since property seems to be on decline."

Regarding the reception.. Out of season (September To June) the reception office in Carleton Village is closed, however we are always contactable by telephone 24 hrs a day.
Furthermore we have a Reception Office which is located at our Carleton Wharf Apartments in Youghal Town which is open Mon -Fri 9am - 5pm all year round.
Unfortunately our units do not have washing machines but there is a self service launderette on site. This is located beside Villa 25.

| "Very pleased with the standard of accommodation (3 bedroom bungalow). Only criticism is that we were unprepared for the hilly location of Carleton Village, which caused problems for my father-in-law in walking to the town.
The staff were very helpful and friendly, although the Reception area could do with a serious tidy up!
Will definitely come back to Youghal - though for access to the Village will probably stay at Carleton Wharf."

| "The propoerty was very well kept and modern inside. The size and quality of the property were excellent and close to that advertised. The village was very well kept and clean with good support for any issues raised.

| "Lovley location friendly staff cottage 13 needs updating, No water in hot water tap master bedroom nothing was done about this even thought we mentioned it twice, fridge blew and gave a member of our party an electric shock (fridge was replaced) cot requested but arrived 1 hour after babies bed time floor in 2nd double room needs replacing. whole place needed a better clean. Not what we expected from LUX accomodation"
