| "Overall the villa is well appointed, clean and some nice touches- eg the water cooler. Also had good comfortable beds. Outside dining area is tucked away between villa and neighbour, making it rather confined. Pool side area although limited well kept and maintained. Good sun trap for the afternoon and we found the pool to be fine re temperature. All in all a good villa and nice to be close to the village. Sadat and Elena were very helpful and not intrusive."

| "Villa Alarahan (Kalkan Townhouse) was perfectly situated for the town shops and restaurants. Having been to Kalkan many times, this Villa was one of the best locations I have stayed in. Although only a 2 minute walk from the centre of town, it was in a quiet residential area. The pool was fabulous and an added bonus was that I could actually touch the floor in this one, which in Kalkan is a rarity! One of the features of the Villa that most made an impression on us was the provision of a water cooler, it was wonderful especially as the weather was extremely hot whilst we were there. Another added bonus for the Villa, was the opening of a new supermarket just up the steps on the main road which caters for all your requirements. This was a wonderful Villa and would certainly like to return in the future."

| "We have just returned from Alarahan and were dissappointed with our stay due to the surrounding noise. We had building noise from a neighbouring house for the first two days, though the agents did resolve this. However, the more pressing problem was the boundary wall to the property being only 5 feet tall, and what you can not see from the provided photos is the 9 balconies from other apartments which over look the Alarahan pool. compromising any privacy you would have had.
Unfortunately for us during our stay the villa with a pool directly over the road was housed with a large, loud group whose children screamed from 8am till 11pm making peaceful use of Alarahans pool impossible."

| "The Villa was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need for a self catering holiday. The pool was wonderful and very welcoming after a day out! The location of the villa was also excellent and only a 5 minute walk to the beach and a couple of minutes into the centre of Kalkan.
A really minor comment is that we thought the area around the pool could be better looked after and could perhaps benefit from a little more attention from the pool man."

| "The villa had all the creature comforts of home and was in a great location to enjoy everything that Kalkan has to offer.
We made use of all the facilities at the Villa including the BBQ, the roof top terrace and the wireless connection.
Our only negative point was we found the pool to be very cold. I know it is filled with fresh water but I have stayed at other villas and have spent a lot of time in the pool cooling off from the heat, but the pool here was too cold to enjoy.
We enjoyed our week at the villa and would recommend it to couples and small families similar."

Nice and clean house close to the center of the old village. Close to small restaurants. Friendly people and delicious food. A pity that the neighbors building is standing close to the house (1 mtr) and hold back a part of the sea-view."

| "This property was excellent. It was very modern and clean, but didnt lack charm. It had some games, DVDs and sun cream. The pool was serviced twice a day, eventhough it was too cold to use it. The management company were fantastic. They helped us to get the cable going on the television and to connect to the internet. The only thing missing were oven gloves, which made cooking a bit tricky."

"The second bedroom and shower room were smaller than we expected and it would have been good to have mosquito screens on the balcony doors as well as windows.
We appreciated the water cooler and the shady dining area on the ground floor."

Many thanks for your feedback.
We are sorry that the second bedroom was not as you expected!
Our plans for the property next year will involve creating one large bedroom and en-suite from the second and third bedrooms to make a new master bedroom with larger balcony overlooking the pool area.
Regarding the mosquito nets on doors - its not normal practice in Turkish built properties to have such screens and so we tend to keep the doors closed and open the windows if we want fresh air in the property.

| "Alarahan is in an excellent location on the edge of the old quarter of Kalkan. Literally 2 minutes walk to the main streets and alleys where the shops and restaurants are. The street the house is situated on however is very quiet. The house is well laid out - very contemporary. Owner has provided good quality towels and house is very well equipped. The quality of furnishings inside and out is very good. Also has the advantage of a great roof terrace with dining area, sofas and kitchen. It also has a lovely pool and marble patio area at the side.We went with our 2 teenage children and had a very good holiday here."

| "In all the time that we have visited Kalkan we have never stayed in such perfect accomodation, both in terms of location and quality. The photos on the website are a true representation of the property. The house is wonderfully appointed, beautifully furnished and has everything anyone could wish for to make for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. When the weather got very hot during our second week, the pool was a blessing but also the cool lounge made for a relaxing haven from the sun. The fact that we could wander in and out of the village within minutes also made life very easy. We were totally spoiled and will definitely be returning next year.

Kalkan Townhouse is beautifully decorated and had everything you would need for a self-catering holiday and more. | "We booked this house specifically because it is in the town centre. We had been to kalkan before and found that other properties were too far out of town and it cost us a fortune in taxi fares. We loved the house and its fantastic locaton but what suprised us the most was how quiet it was. We expected some noise from the town but there was none. We will definately be back next year.

| "The house is very spacious and modern and is very tastefully furnished and decorated. The house has all mod cons, dishwasher, water cooler, washing machine. The pool area is private and the roof terrace has good views across Kalkan and down to the sea. Location is great - very central to Kalkan and the surrounding restaurants. Would recommend without hesitation and the photos on the site give a very good representation of the reality. Thanks very much to Graham and Trish (and Durmus for his excellent help while we were there)!"
