| "What a fantastic place. Very clean with everything you may require. Excellent if you are looking for privacy and county fresh air. The cove was excellent spent a few hours there and enjoyed every minute as did the rest of my family. 6 adults stayed in the cottage and felt there was more than enough room. I would definatley stay there again (hopefully this summer) and would recommend this property. You do need the use of a vehicle for this property which was fine with us as we drove over from England. There is loads to do in nearby towns so you would never get bored. Thanks again Michael for a plesent stay. Hope to see you again soon."

| "The cottage was perfect for a quiet relaxing stay, while still providing easy access to more populated areas and tourist attractions. The little path down to the cove was our favorite part!"

| "After a long and tiring journey to reach the cottage (we drove 300 miles from the East of England, took a ferry from Fishguard to Rosslare, and then drove another 90 miles to the cottage) it was a relief to find such a clean, welcoming place as Tobin's Cottage.
We are a family of 5, and there was ample room with three bedrooms and three bathrooms (2 with showers and one with a bath/shower). The facilities in the cottage were excellent for the most part. The place was clean, linen was crisp, there was food in the fridge and freezer, even a TV and DVD player.
A 15 minute walk down to the secret cove was rewarded with a half pebbly, half sandy beach with views out into the Atlantic. It was very restful. The boys (aged 7,10 and 12) could easily have spent all day down there, with enough pebbles and rocks of varying sizes to build a dam in the stream that made it's way to the sea here.
There are all the shopping facilities you'll need for a holiday about 6 miles away in Dungarvan. It would be a difficult place to be without a car or motorbike though. 8 miles away is a great beach at Ardmore, where there's also a fantastic restaurant, with melt-in-the-mouth food, called Whitehorses but it's not cheap at about £35 a head for three courses.
There are fields with cows, sheep and horses all around. Many lighthouses, pubs, restaurants, castles to visit. Everyone, especially outside of the towns, waves to you as you drive past. Everything is very friendly here. The scenery is beautiful. The cottage is great. As long as you have transport you will enjoy a great family holiday here.
Prices for food is about 10% more expensive than in SE England, but fuel is about 30% cheaper, so fill up as soon as you get to Ireland and just before you leave! Enjoy.
And the strawberries sold at the side of the road from the little sheds were delicious too!"

"The cottage is comfortable & extremely well equipped with plenty of room for our family of 2 adults & 4 teenagers. It is set in a delightful & peaceful setting. Mr Toibin could not have been more welcoming. He offered help throughout the stay, without interfering. Nothing was too much for him. The cove is a good 15 - 20 minute walk away, but well worth it, just don't expect golden sands. There are some lovely sandy beaches nearby although we didn't find any within walking distance. The local people are really friendly & there are some good pubs nearby with traditional Irish music. A nice relaxing week. Definitely recommended!"

"We had a wonderful holiday at this cottage. Mr. Toibin was more than helpful. He was a great ambassador of Irish hospitality. We had trouble finding the cottage and he came to where we were lost to guide us back to it (quite late at night, might I add). He was so kind to our children. The cottage was equipped with everything we needed and more (he even provided basic food to get us started). The baby cot was already set up with linens included. Our children loved playing in the yard and with the horses. We walked to the cove to the beach and had a lovely time. It's a beautiful setting... very serene and relaxing... a great opportunity to get in touch with nature. Thank you a million times over. We had a great time. The next time we're in Ireland we'll definitely try to stay here again!"

"Myself and my family thoughly enjoyed our stay at tobins cottage, and find it very relaxing and peacefull. Micheal was an excelent host and insured all our needs were cated for. if there is a down side to this property it would be lack of signage and road markings to the property.
We wish Micheal and his family all the best for the future.
ps Polly and Robin (horses ) loved being called and fed carrots or apples (sorry micheal)"

"We could not have asked for a more perfect environment to relax in and catch up as old friends. The hospitality we received from Michael was outstanding, and a lot better than some that I have received in various hotels around the world. The cottage had such a lovely 'feel' about it, and we instantly felt like we were 'home' when we walked through the door. Thank you Michael for a wonderful stay!!!"

"This holiday has ben the best family holiday ever. We had grandchildren Boy age 11 and girl 16 with. They cant stop talking about what they did. and saw. unbelevabale beautifull and peacefull . Safe for the children to go arround the property on their own . Mr Tobin very very good. even took Grandson a walk, to cove one evenning with his dog. Piers was in his heaven.
They are London children and this holiday did what we wanted, taught them that there is a world outside of a town.My husband and I also had a great time exploring area and he even kissed the Blarney stone, although when we told friends they said he certainley did not need to. Thank you a milion Mr and Mrs Tobin. Have a good year ,you deserve it. Yvonne and Mike."

"Although the property was very difficult to find (due to lack of road signs!), our host met us at thre and set the tone for the holiday, with his welcoming and friendly greeting. The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed, and provided an excellent base to explore the local area. Very quiet locally, but near to Youghal (20 mins) and Dungarvan (15 mins) for shops and beaches."

| "Sorry about late reply, excellent in all ways, good utilities, very clean, very, very spacious. Mike was really friendly and helpful, great chap. Loved the character of the accommodation. Our 3 children didn't want to leave, 13,15 and 17Yr. Local people exceedingly friendly. Price was terrific for the size of the property even though out of season."

| "I can't praise this property or Mr Tobin enough. It was a lovely, warm inviting home that we had the privilege to stay in for a week.
Mr Tobin dropped by a couple of times to make sure everything was ok and was very warm and welcoming.
This is definitely somewhere we will be staying again!"
