| "The Riad is modern, comfortable and clean. It has the feeling of staying at a friend's house (a very clean and tidy friend). Omar and Geraldine are lovely people. Omar gave excellent recomendations for places to eat and directions for getting around (great place to stay if you are renting a car). Geraldine was always very friendly. We felt very comfortable leaving our daughter in the house when we went out - we rarely do this (she is only 2)."

| "Stayed at the Dar El Kanoun riad in the quiet suburbs of Marrakech where wonderful hosts, Omar and Geraldine, were ever present to look after my family's needs. Lovely villa, pretty garden and pool, wonderful food, and Omar and his staff on hand to help. Great value for money and Omar was there for advice on restaurants, places to visit and even transportation, including the pick-up from the airport. Taking 3 children was initially a concern (you know what I mean!), but Dar El Kanoun suited them perfectly, from the pool, to the food, and even the English DVDs; baby-sitting was a breeze and allowed my wife and I to enjoy a couple of fantastic restaurants by ourselves. Would certainly go back and won't hesitate to recommend Dar El Kanoun. Greta for families and given only 4 rooms, couples in need of quiet! A top pick!"

"We have just returend from 12 days in Morroco travelling around 5 of which were spent at the Dar El Kanoun. This place is a real haven from the hustle and bustle of Marrakech. A bit out of the centre but well worth finding.
Omar & Geraldine provide an excellent and personal service. The place is very comfortable & homely, with meals prepared for dinner on request and of a very high standard. Staying here was the most relaxing part of our trip & we went back 3 times over a period of days. The rooms are large & very comforatable with all the facilites you would expect from a top hotel.
The lovely garden has a small pool, which would be a boon in summer.
I would definately recommend this place if you like the personal touch, and would return here again ( as we already did!!).
I contacted Omar directly via the website to book & he could not have been more helpful.
Give Dar el Kanoun a try, you won't regret it!!"
