| "Firstly - communication with the owner is excellent.
The villa itself is in a very quiet location since it is towards the end of a cul-de-sac. Your only visitor will be the pool attendant and he is so quick and efficient hell be there and gone in no time!
The villa has all the facilities that you need. I was there with 3 daughters and 2 of their friends all under the age of 22 and they were more than happy with the pool and space afforded them. Wall to wall sunshine was a help as well!
You definitely need your own transport. It is a fair walk to the main road - unless of course you are staying in the villa the whole of the time.
It can be quite windy at night time since the villa is high up on the hill - but this abates as morning approaches and the sum then takes over.
Be prepared for quite a ride on the clutch as you drive up the steep incline on the driveway!
Plenty of things to see and do in the area since it is in a holidaying area. Do not miss the smaller villages and make the effort to get into old Altea. Do not visit the Vergel Safari Park - one of the most run down places we havce ever visited. Even the animals were bored.
All in all a perfect base for exploring the area. With four double bedrooms available also a perfect place for large families or even extended families to use."

| "We rented Casa Carolina with friends in September 2007 and absolutely loved it. The villa itself was spacious and supplied everything we needed for our stay. Being half way up the mountain, the peace and quite added to a relaxing week. The views were positively astounding & breathtaking day or night.
In Altea itself, we were captured by it's charm, the church and the friendly people. There were ample restaurant's and bars to choose from offering a variety of local culture and international cuisine.
We enjoyed days out to Javea & Calpe and even ventured on the local train, down to Benidorm!
There is something for everyone, whether local or in a near proximity.
We look forward to returning to Altea in the near future and would highly recommend the villa and the area to all."

| "This villa exceeded all our expectations, the views from the villa are simply outstanding even better than it looks on the web site. The villa location is quite and secure, and following the supplied instructions it was easy to find our way.
A car is highly recommended.
The only downside of the whole holiday was the weather could have been a bit better, at least we had a splendid villa to take cover in!
We will definately return - hopefully better weather next time!"
