| "We arrived at 14:30 and the app.was still be cleaned. We“ve had to wait untill 15:45. I don“t have a problem with waiting if the result in the end is o.k.Our first impression was: oh nice app. But the second view showed:dirty kitchen: all cupboards where full with faty fingertips from many users before, the refrigerator showed a black and mouldy sealing in the door, in the freezer we found rests of users before and mould too, we founded two carving boards of plastic with mould, there where only 3 little pots for cooking, the frighting pans where not usable because they where dirty (full of black and crusty rests from the users before). I spend 4 hours to clean the kitchen and the dishes to feel well (nice beginning of holidays!!)and I spoke with the owner but she was not very helpful. She came the next day (unpuncualy, so we did not met her) and she cleaned ("removed") the frighting pans. But they where full of deep scrapers so you could“nt fright anything in it. I asked her for a little compensation for my time cleaning her app. but there was no answer. There where only 4 chairs (we where 5 p.!) and the app.you can rent for max.8 p. Under our mattress we founded things from the users before (fishermens and things I could not identify anymore), the shower in the first bathroom needs a little renovation, the balconys and the terrace in the top of the app. where dirty and with rests of food from the users before.
The appartment has potential to be a really good app. but it needs to be cleaned fundamentally and it needs more things for coooking in the kitchen.
If i“ve had the choce again i“would not rent again."

"the apartment was extremely spacious and was full of all the modern amenities you could need.
we were travelling for the first time with our 1 year old son and we were quite aprehensive as to what we would find but the pictures and explanations shown were of true likeness.
we had read the previous reviews and would agree that a car is essential but we also found that the nearest bars and shop were about 15 min walking distance but the paths were uneven and it was quite hilly although the clubhouse was only 5 mins away.
the beach that is talked about in the visitors book is a must for families and youll find it about 10min drive along the main road toward marbella.
would definately recommend to others and would return again."

| "This property was beautiful and had all mod cons. The balconies on the penthouse level and sitting room were great, as two of the four days it was warm enough out of the wind to sit out. The apartment complex was very well kept and had two beautiful swimming pools (albeit as we were there in January we did not use them!). Everything was clean, neat and comfortable. The food and service in the Miraflores Golf Clubhouse was excellent, especially the Sunday carvery which is served from 1pm - 5pm.
Now the down sides.
1. It was not made clear enough in my view that the location of this apartment is not near any amenities and therefore a car is ESSENTIAL, unless you wish to walk for 45 mins down steep and winding roads with often uneven surfaces. Or pay 7 euro each way for a taxi to the nearest supermarket/bar/main road which are at the entrance to the complex and about 10 mins drive, if that.
2. On day 2 of our four-day stay, we got locked into the apartment complex as the two street gates had been locked. None of the keys we were given fit the gates. On phoning Rita, who had met us on arrival, we were advised to go down to the underground garage in the lift and exit through the garage gates. This was fine from inside the complex, as a button in the garage opened the gate from the inside, however on our return that night after 11pm the street gates were still locked, there is no garage access from outside without a fob and as we didnt have a car we were not given the fob. Two of my friends had to scale a low part of the fence, go up to the entrance to the aprtment, take the lift down to the garage and let us in. In my view this should never have been allowed to happen and if there had been no-one fit enough to climb the fence we would have been unable to gain access.
3. Minor things: we were there in January and the nights were cold, but the duvets were not thick enough to provide sufficient warmth. Also, there were not sufficient towels.
If visitors have a car this is a nice place to stay but even then it is not suitable for infirm/disabled visitors, nor would I say it was suitable for children.

"Overall we had a lovely time in this apartment - It is very homely and in a great location. However, we would have been very disapointed if we were using it for a summer break. The furniture on the roof terrace is in need of replacement. Most of the chairs were broken.
Other comments - the iron has a whole in the bottom (previously reported) that prevents you from filling it with water and we had to provide our own adapters for the telly, toaster and iron. It would have been useful to haveknownthat we needed to bring adapters with us up front.
I would recomend this apartment if the outside space on the upper deck was more useable.

Sorry to hear there was no adapters there should have been 4 placed around the apartment, i constently replace them as people have a tendency to take them when they leave. The upstairs furniture i am aware off, but as you can appreciate with it being winter here nobody is sitting outside on the terrace at this time of year. the furniture is due to be replaced in April ready for the warmer weather, i didnt see the need to do it now with the downstairs balcony having a new set to use at present. The iron i will have to have a look at agin as this is the 4th Iron in 8 MONTHS due to people dropping them on the floor, if it is indeed broken i will replace a.s.a.p. Thankyou for your comments.

| "Well presented accommodation with good sized rooms and well maintained. Excellent storage facilities. Terrace area added to the appeal of the property with good views, particularly when the sun is out!!
Would have welcomed some information on how to use the appliances and general information on the location and golf complex.
Very quiet position but would expect that as not many people were on holiday in early November.
The general mass of buildings and apartments was a bit overwhelming but didnot distracted from our enjoyment of being close to the local amenties."

"ALTHOUGH THIS APARTMENT WAS VERY NICE AND SPACIOUS THE FURNITURE, FIXTURES AND FITTINGS HAVE SEEN BETTER DAYS, WITH A LITTLE TLC THIS APARTMENT COULD BE OF DEFINATE FIVE STAR QUALITY. THEY SAY THAT A CAR IS RECOMMENDED BUT IN MY OPINION IT IS A DEFINATE MUST AS IT WAS NOT WITHIN WALKING DISTANCE FROM ANY SHOPS, BARS OR RESTAURANTS. THE POOL AND GARDENS WERE KEPT IMMACULATE AND VERY PEACEFUL. MIRA FLORES AS A DESTINATION IS LOVELY BUT AS IT IS SUCH A LARGE AREA I WOULD ADVISE THAT YOU ARE AWARE OF YOUR LOCATION AND THAT IT SUITS YOUR NEEDS. THIS AREA CAN CATER FROM THE MOST RELAXING TO THE MORE LIVELY HOLIDAY MAKERS."

Many thanks for your review however i fail to understand your comments regarding the furniture, fixtures and fittings as most are brand new. Upon arrival you were very pleased with the apartment as you were being shown round it. You also had contact numbers for me and Rita should there have been a problem. the apartment is always spotlessly clean and inspected before it is rented and is also shown to you upon arrival. The photos are 100% true and accurate so you knew what you were booking. I also fail to understand the one star rating when previous reviews are all extremely favourable.

"Stayed here for 2 weeks late August, wonderful property, very spacious with the pool right outside your door. The apartment is in a peaceful location and has all the mod cons you would need for your holiday, although you will need a car to get around but near to the golf clubhouse. The bar there does excellent food by the way and there are plenty of shops/restauarants within a few minutes drive including an Internet Cafe.
The 7 of us had a great time!"

"We stayed at Miraflores in July 2008, and were really pleased to have picked such a great penthouse - taking up two whole floors with several balconies and a big master bedroom that leads striaght out onto the massive sun terrace, we were surprised at how big it all was!
The only (slight) downside is the distance to the nearest bars/shops - a car is essential, as its a good couple of miles to the main area, and very hilly, so I recommend you stock up on food and drink as soon as you arrive!
All in all, a great property and highly recommended!"

| "Upon arrival we were met by Rita to let us into the apartment and show us round. It was larger than the 6 of us expected, with my parents with us, we were unsure of space but were extremely happy. It is very modern, comfortable and quiet. Great pool area. large terrace upstairs, and good selec tion of channels on tv for children. Looking forward to bringing our friends next year."

"The apartment was extremely good. However, we wanted to cook our own Spanish food there but struggled with a few items of equipment being missing such as a coffee pot and a cheese grater. It was very clean and comfortable though. The actual complex was very large and we had difficulty finding the apartment in the dark on our first night but it was dark. The instructions on how to get there were not very clear.
It was all very nice and modern in the hills around Mijas. The nearby restaurants in the complex were really nice. cheap and friendly. I can recommend the sandwiches in the 'Connect' Internet Cafe. The people who hang around there were especially friendly. The main complaint about the complex is the dogs mess everywhere which is a real shame.
All in all we had a good relaxing holiday."

Today we have put in a few more kitchen essentials i.e cheese grater, orange juicer etc and also a coffee pot. I am pleased you enjoyed your holiday and i am getting onto the community regarding the dog mess, which as you can appreciate is upto the owners to pick up after there animals. I am glad you had a relaxing holiday.

"Fantastic accomodation. Looking at dates to book again next year. We all had a fantastic holiday. Excellent location for those that love to play golf. Only down side was that the upstairs bedroom's air conditioning was not working and after phoning the relevant number several times we got no response."

"In terms of the property itself the villa is amazing, it comes with all the things one would need to make their stay perfect and it is set against a beautiful setting, although there is a shared pool it is rarely overrun. The only problem i would say that i had at all was the ocation of the property, its about a 30/40 min walk from the main road/beach and alot of the walk is uphill so we needed to take cabs to get to the bottom of the road... this however should not put one off as it is not too much a problem cabs only cost 6Euros between 4 working out to be 1.50 each which is highly inexpensive and then when you get to the botom of the road there is a great bus service to all the neighbouring areas costing only about 1.05Euros a trip.
As i said however aside from this the house itself is Perferct would recommend it to anyone."

"Arriving at the apartment we were met by Hayley with the keys to let us in on time. The apartment was bigger than we expected so were very pleased, with having the inlaws with us we had plenty of space. The location was superb for me liking the occasional game of golf, and we had a few very nice meals in the clubhouse. The apartment is clean, nicely decorated and has everything you could need for your holiday. We are looking at going back next year."
