| "We had a fantastic time in Split and were really pleased with the apartment. It was very well equipped (especially the kitchen), nicely decorated (liked the bit of exposed Roman wall in the dining area), comfortable and clean. Vesna, who met us with the keys, was very friendly and helpful and the apartment itself was in a fantastic location. It really was 2 minutes from the Riva (waterfront) and right in the centre of the old town. It made everything really easy to get to - there was a supermarket about 3/4 minutes walk away, fruit & veg and fish markets about 5 minutes walk away, and a beach about 10-15 minutes walk away. This is really what made the apartment (oh - and the air conditioning in the bedroom, which we definitely needed!).
The bad points about the apartment were mainly the noise at night. It was round the corner from a couple of bars, which were quite quiet really, but opposite a club type bar which did bother us a bit as we could hear music every night from Thursday to Sunday. It wasnt too bad if you left the fan on at night (which we needed anyway) cos it drowned out the sound of the music most nights but there were a couple of nights it wasnt enough and we both struggled to get to sleep. We wouldnt have minded if we were going to the bars themselves, but as I was pregnant, tired, and not clubbing it bothered us more than it would have done normally! Otherwise Id say the noise was fine if you were going to be out til midnight yourself or dont go to bed til later. I dont think the music went on very late and there was no noise from the bar closing most nights.
Other minor bad points were that the entrance to the apartment wasnt very nice (it was via the back yard of a bar), and that there wasnt a hairdryer! But the location and apartment itself outweighed the bad points and wed go back again. Just probably not while pregnant and sleepy....!"

| "This apartment is exceptionally well placed, right in the middle of the old town in Split. Diocletians palace, the seafront riva, shops and markets are all within spitting distance.
The apartment sits in a courtyard behind one of the best bars in the town (great for a pre- or post-dinner cocktail), and although there is some burble till about midnight, there is no loud music or anything that might disturb you.
The apartment has everything you need, and is really well decorated and comfortable.
The only slight downside is the courtyard which is not the prettiest, but this place cant be beat for location and comfort. A home from home!"

| "Excellent location for exploring Split and further afield to nearby islands and sights. Several bars recommended in Lonely Planet to be found in under a minutes walk , big plus (!!) but downside a bit noisy in the evenings!!
Well equipped flat and useful to be able to see detailed photos on the internet before traveling.

| "The apartment is very clean and modern and well furnished and right in the heart of Split close to everything you need.
There is slight noise due to the location however this is not excessive.
Would definately recommend this apartment but possibly not for people with young children due to no travel cot and the spiral stairs.
The owner and local agent were very helpful and would without doubt go there again.
