| "This is a recent build and has been furnished to a very good standard in a modern open plan style. The villa is airy and light and most windows are fitted with insect screens so windows can be left open at night. The kitchen is well equipped with plenty of crockery, cutlery, saucepans etc. The bedrooms are comfortable with plenty of storage for clothes but the main bedroom would benefit from air conditioning. Both bathrooms are fitted to an excellent standard. The living area is large and well planned with leather settees and stylish dining furniture. Additional storage space for all the holiday bits and bobs would be useful. The villa is set in a very quiet area of S Crete, but there are local tavernas offering good quality food at very reasonable prices. Try Zorbas at Toutsouros for an excellent meal. In our opinion, the villa is best suited to couples and families with older children, as there are open sided stairs in the villa and steep unfenced dro ps from the terrace to the neighbouring villa and pool below which could be a hazard to the elderly or young children. This is an excellent place to get away from it all and we were pleased that we had hired a 4 x 4 which was great for the local roads and the steep dirt track up to the villa."
