| "Firstly, my review is tempered by the fact that we were very unlucky with the weather. We had expectations of 2 weeks in the sun, by the pool chilling out and relaxing with barbecues mixed with eating out. The reality was an unusually bad spell of weather which left the villa a bit of a damp squib! So, like most destinations in the Med, it is not one to amuse kids if the suns not out.
However, the villa was superb. Spacious, clean and well kitted out. The sattelite TV channels were (eventually - after we had some maintenance done) a great thing to fall back on. Games in the house for the kids were also a bonus. When the sun did come out, the location is wonderful and the outdoor space is huge! Facilities for barbecueing were great. I cant fault the villa and any small issues we had (loss of hot water after a nearby lightening strike!) were dealt with very efficiently by the local support staff - hats off to them.
We found Altea better than Altea la Vella for eating out. This brings me to the point of transport .. a car is a must.
Overall, I would very much recommend the villa, especially if you get the weather as you will want for nothing!"

| "You would be lost with out a car,The town altea la vella is to far to walk for most were as the coast of altea is a good 15 min drive and to be fair this is were most restaurants and shops ect are.
The villa is great and very substantial and the kitchen is fitted with all you could need the only thing that lets it down are the beds are to short in lenght, width and very uncomfortable with poor quality sheets!!! i think its a shame because to us our catch up on sleep from our work life is important"

Hi Antonio
Just wanted to say a big thank you in allowing us to stop at your villa in Altea, we had a really relaxing and lovely time, the weather was warm but very cloudy and we had quite a thunder storm for two days, but we still got to go out and about and enjoy the scenery and even the pool some days when we were being brave.
We will definately contact you again in the future if we decide to revisit, I have also sent your particulars to my work colleagues as they were all very impressed by my comments and the pictures from the website, hopefully you may secure some more bookings.
Didn't like to call out the agents but we could not get the CD player to work so had to use the alternative drive to play music and the sandwhich toaster was working but would not close as the handle was broken.
Hope we left the place in an acceptable condition for your agents.
