| "Having stayed here in December of 2008, I can say that the house really does look that good when it’s covered in snow! This fabulous house is situated in a quiet, peaceful and beautiful location, but is also close enough to the village centre to make it an easy stroll. The house is beautifully decorated throughout and offers a warm welcoming feel as soon as you walk in, particularly with the open log fire in the living room. The bedrooms are comfortable and spacious with plenty of cupboard and storage space. The bathrooms are spacious and very well equipped (all of them), and I particularly like the under floor heating! There is a good choice of entertainment to relax with in the evenings with satellite TV, DVD player, games console or board games, if you wish. Not something you would normally find in rented accommodation, unless you paid extra for it. We were a group of ten people and I can safely say that, with the open style lounge and dining area, there was never an occasion when it felt cramped or over crowded.
The owners have put a lot of thought into providing a very comprehensive folder of information for the local and surrounding areas, with everything from most popular tourist attractions, where to change money and the best locations for skiing. I’m sure it’s as lovely in the summer as it was, covered in snow in the winter Very highly recommended.
