| "It was great. Beautifully decorated, good beds and bathrooms, soft sheets and towels, etc etc. Because it is in the middle of the medina you feel like youre sort of living in Essaouira. The kids had a great time discovering their way in the small streets. We went to the beach every day and in the evening they enjoyed their rest and games in the house. We stayed in Dar Ettouahen for 5 nights with a family of 6 (2 adults and 4 kids). And...
We woke up every morning to the "bzz bzz" sound of the fresh orange juice being squeezed by the lovely breakfast ladies: better breakfast for less money than in a hotel.
Also thanks to the owners who sent us good information (just phone Fouad and everything is arranged!).
We hope we can stay again the next time."

Loved Dar Ettouahen and loved Essaouira. Travelled with a toddler and they had a wonderful time although perhaps the stairs in the house were a little steep for them. There was a stair gate but it was too narrow to attach to the bottom level of stairs. However the owners had left a high chair, travel cot and bucket and spade for the beach (which was much used and loved!). The house was beautiful and Khadishas breakfasts and dinners were amazing and NOT to be missed! In fact wed love to come back. The owners, housekeeper and caretaker coudnt have been more attentive. And Morocco was just amazing."

"“We had a great holiday in your gorgeous Riad. We particularly enjoyed the breakfasts and the evening meal cooked for us by Khadisha - she's a real gem. We tried some of the local restaurants and we loved them also, especially Villa Maroc. Went to Marrakesh for an overnight and stayed in the place recommended by you - it worked out fine but we were delighted to get back to our lovely home in Rue Tuahen. The local people were very friendly and seemed to be looking out for us when we got lost (which we did regularly in the alleyways)!”

| "A fantastic property in a beautiful place!
We are all vegetarian and usually self cater as we get very bored with resturant and hotel food, but this time we didn't cook once. The restaurants were all very good, but the house keeper, Kadysha's cooking was better still."
