| "The apartment is situated in a beautiful and tranquil development which is very well maintained. The five pools each have thier own character and are uncrowded with plenty of sunbeds. The main pool with childrens area is excellent and even had a lifeguard. The apartment is excellent, spacious an very well furnished and tastefully decorated. The outside space is excellent and really is another room. It was a joy to come back to the property each day and easy to spend time there. My only feedback is minor - more mugs would be good and some better knives and utensils - also some more plastic crockery/glasses for children and clumsy adults! Also I was expecting SKY TV rather than a local cable package that only had a limited number of UK channels -my assumption on booking so no reflection really on the property. That said the TV and DVD were excellent and with a second set in the main bedroom. We also would have benefitted from some clearer maps of the immediate area eg how to get to the beach and the nearby facilities. I would recommend a car for this property as there is not much within walking distance especially if you have children. Altogether a beautiful apartment in a lovely complex."

| "We did not want to drive abroad so the owner arranged for her brother in law to collect us from the airport. He was there when we got through after collecting our luggage.
The apartment was fabulous, just like it said on the website. There were only two of us staying in the apartment but there was anotehr twin bedroom if we needed it.
Fabulous apartment and gardens. 5 swimming pools, one very big one.
Lots of restaurants near to the complex, either this side of the road or over the bridge. We mainly ate at the Robin Hood pub wich had fabulous food, biggest fishI have ever seen. It was 2 meals for 10 euros between 5-8 pm. We also ate at the Mumbai Palace(Indian) at Fulii (chinese) restaurants.
Try to go to the big supermarket (Mercados) on the other side of the road which is a lot cheaper. It is about a mile away over the bridge but if you are fit it is a nice walk.
We went on a trip to Puerto Banus and Estepona, buses every half an hour about 2 euros each way.
If you have got children and you want to take them with youon an evening then go to Black Horse where they have a play area out the back and also a bouncy castle. There is also a bar over the bridge near to the bowling green which is ideal for the kids!!!!
The only down side is that I thought the beachwas nearer than what it was to the complex.
Lovely beach at Estepona, nice walk along the promenade and another play park for the kids.
We have been all over the world, cruises, Mexico, Cuba, America, Spain etc but this has been the most relaxing holiday . It is the first time I have rented a private apartment but this has been a great experience and I would definitely rent it out again in the future
thanks again!!!!"

| "Lovely apartment. Spotlessly clean. Decor very high standard. Facilities of flats were everything you would need on holiday. Well equipped kitchen.
The location of El Presidente is good, central for most things, but you do always need a car, that is the only minor downside, but once you get used to the roads, and changing sides and directions, its fairly easy to find your way anywhere. One main road leads to everything you need. The development could do with a just maybe a small convenience store nearby, just to get you started or for emergencies, somone should open one, it would do well!
Overall a lovely holiday - great apartment, great weather, Leah and agent Rachel very easy to deal with. Many thanks."

| "Great apartment - particularly liked the huge balcony which was lovely for dining and also relaxing on as it has two sun beds and a sofa on. The apartment has plenty of pools to choose from, and we never found that there was a shortage of sunbeds (we went in August). Two TVs in the apartment was handy and plenty of UK channels. Owner very helpful pre-booking. Would recommend and consider visiting again."

| "We enjoyed a very pleasant stay in this tasteful apartment. The whole complex is very well managed and the large pool was excellent.
The only disappointing feature was that the outside terrace/balcony received only a portion of the morning sun. This meant that at no time during the day, could you sunbathe on the amply sized terrace, which was a shame, as there was lovely dining furniture & sun loungers.
Otherwise, the apartment was lovely."

There is noise from the gardeners in the morning at about 8.00am but the apartment was very quiet at night and in the day. There is very little local restaurants and shops - they are mainly across the road on the other side of the urbanisation which was too hot to walk to comfortably when we stayed which meant a car is a must. also the local restaurants are alongside the main road which is not a pleasant place to eat. The apartment is very close to Porta Banus and Marbella though and we ate there several times and had excellent value for money. This part of Spain is very urbanized but the apartment is lovely and in excellent surroundings"

| "We have just spent 2 weeks at this most wonderful apartment. The location and facilities were excellent. We can highly recommend this apartment to anyone who wants a relaxing trouble free holiday. Especially if you have young children as we did. Our 1 year old loved it. It is very children friendly. The apartment was beautifully presented and had everything you could possibly need. The pools were excellent and kept clean daily. The grounds on El Presidente are always kept imaculate and after only a day there we had fully unwound and felt right at home.
We will definatley be booking up for next year.
To sum up... excellent value, beautiful apartment, great location, 5 stars....

We were impressed with the Leisure 2000 staff, whom we found to be very helpful.
We would highly recommend this apartment to anybody who wants a bit of luxury when on holiday.
Thanks for all your help."

| "We are just home from our fabulous vacation at El Presidente. The apartment was absolutely beautiful. We had our three year old daughter with us and the apartment was large enough for us all. It was nicely furnished modern and simple. It felt like home from home. The balcony is also large also where you could sit out and relax listening to the waterfalls. We are planning to return to it next year again at some stage. The complex itself is very well kept and gardeners were there constantly working on keeping it lovely. There are restaurants close by but we hired a car for the two weeks and found ourselves driving 9 minutes down the road to Puerto Banus which had some really nice restaurants and not very expensive as you may think. We travelled up the mountains to Mijas which was very nice. We did loads of shopping too at the La Canada shopping Mall. The main pool was like heaven. It did not get too busy and you could get a space at any time of the day. We found booking the apartment very easy and efficient and the directions to the apartment we exact. We had a fantastic holiday lovely apartment, lovely meals, lovely weather and loads of shopping and most importantly our daughter enjoyed it too!"

The apartment and gardens were perfect but the local beach and beach bar were dissappointing. because of the location of the property I would say it is critical that people are advised to hire a car during their stay as it is quite a long way from Estpepone and P Banus.
Maybe next time would stay walking distance from a more lively harbour and awat from the A7!

If you are there for sure have a dinner at the Indina restaurant Mumbai Mamba, its a really best place to go. And if you are going to Gibraltar, take a bus tour from Gibraltar to upper rock, not a cable road. You will see much more!!!Thank you very much and hope to see you again"

"Wonderful, spacious apartment with all the comforts of home. As mentioned in other reviews the location of the urbanisation is quite close to a main road, but it is extremely quiet and peaceful with no disturbances at all. The grounds are stunning with beautiful fountains, flowers and plants and the five swimming pools were much enjoyed by our family. We were spoilt for choice with regard to excellent restaurants; too numerous to mention as we ate out in Marbella, Estepona, Puerto Banus, Benhavis and also in the surrounding locality. As we have a four year old son, we tended to play around the pool or on the beach during the day, but we did manage a trip to Gibraltar and the water park at Torremolinos, which were good for a day out, but I don't think we would go back. The only negative point, which was extremely minor is that the apartment itself could do with a touch of paint in some areas and the suite in the lounge was a bit grubby, but this was probably due to an extremely hectic summer and it being a popular apartment. Overall, however, the apartment was extremely good value for money and a hotel suite of the same size and high standard would cost a lot more."
Owner reply:
:
It is true that we have had a hectic year for bookings. Rest assured that we are having the entire apartment re-painted and the covers on the settees replaced before next years rentals start.

| "This is a wonderful apartment in a lovely apartment complex. For once, the pictures on the website are accurate - in fact, the apartment was actually even nicer and more spacious than displayed in the photos. The private terrace is wonderful for outdoor dining and relaxation. The apartment complex is very pleasant and relaxing, with magnificently well-kept gardens and beautiful fountains. Each of the 5 swimming pools are clean and beautiful, with plenty of sun loungers, meaning that we never remotely experienced overcrowding. Pool areas were tranquil without much noise, even in the 1st week of September.
The many on-site tennis courts have been newly refurbished and overcrowding was never a problem.
Considering that the complex is in quite a busy area, off a main road, it is unbelievably quiet and relaxing. There is a lovely 10 min walk to a great beach bar overlooking a small but pleasant beach. There are a lot of restaurants etc around in the immediate vicinity. The Spanish restaurant directly across the main road serves very good seafood. The main road is busy, and even to cross over to go to nearby restaurants / supermarkets etc, one has to drive a bit to the nearest offramp to get to change direction. A bit annoying, but a relatively minor issue to stay in such a lovely resort.
For 2 lovely evenings out, we drove the 6km into the mountain village of Benahaven - great views, a multitude of restaurants etc. The 2 we tried were the 2 recommended in the apartment's guide book, and food was excellent and good value for money on both occasions (huge portions of all food and excellent seafood). Paella is very good at most places.
A day trip to Ronda, high up in the mountains; about an hour's drive away was well worth doing - lots of character and lovely views.
We also enjoyed a trip to Gibraltar for the day - worth parking a short distance outside the passport control area, and walking in. Signposting to Gibraltar is non-existent until one is almost right there - the Spanish don't seem to want to acknowledge this little crown colony until they have to! Once inside, good buses and taxi service - avoid getting ripped off by those offering expensive tours of the Rock; the official cable-car trip up is more than adequate and better value. Be warned, if planning to walk part of the way down from the Rock, water and good walking shoes essential. (walks are not very well sign-posted). The monkeys on the Rock are really a delight and the views are spectacular.
Other good trips are Estopona - lovely town; harbour area has a very atmospheric market on Sundays - park for free near the harbour - very busy though.
Marbella is worth a visit, although very commercialised. Beaches look better there than nearer to the apartment complex - we didn't use the beaches at all as the pool areas were so much more pleasant.
Overall, a really delightful holiday - we would definitely return.
Booking system etc extremely efficient, with good directions etc, + arrival instructions."

"Nice apartment.Could do with a little bit of touching
up and some minor repairs(no shower screen in main bathroom) . We had a problem getting sunbeds and on more than one occasion we had to put our towels on the grass next to the pool. The road that passes the property is a big problem as you can only cross it via a footbridge which is a 10 minute walk away and this isn't ideal for people withchildren in buggies. Most of the bars and shops are on the other side of this road.
A car is a must for this property if you are to enjoy the area and we would recomend Crown car hire,we had a Seat Altea for 2 weeks and it cost us £179."
Owner reply:
:
The shower screen has now been replaced.
I have to clarify that there isn't a road that passes my apartment but that the Urbanisation itself lays off the main road.

Considering that this was the first time that we had rented sight unseen, I must admit that we were very pleased with our selection. My only critisisim was that there were no dish towels left for us, and considering that we could not figure out the dishwasher I had to purchase my own towels. It might be handy to have some English instructions for the appliances, seeing that Canadians do not have the same types. All in all though, we truly enjoyed our stay in your "home away fron home.""

"The property itself was lovely, as were the surrounding gardens. As the weather was very mixed, we were glad of the apartment's facilities of heating and TV/satellite system.
I have, unfortunately, had to mark it down in this instance for the following reasons:
We had booked the property as it included among other things a dishwasher and there was a heated pool. The pool's pump had recently gone and although mended the following day the water temperature did not rise enough to be used in the 10 days we were there. Secondly, we bought a new box of dishwasher tablets, used the dishwasher the second day and the water wouldn't empty. Called Donna who got an engineer out - that pump had also gone! He hoped to come out the following day with new pump. Well, we didn't hear or see anyone after this, so had no dishwasher for whole holiday. Not being used to doing washing up, as we have a dishwasher, we did not want to spend a large chunk of our holiday doing washing up!
Hence, I have only marked the value for money at "fair" as I could have booked an apartment which didn't have a heated pool or dishwasher for a lot less money!"
Owner reply:
:
The heated pool has had a problem with the pump but will soon be rectified and the engineer for the dishwasher had problems getting the part. The clients were unavailable when our agent tried to keep them informed of the delay.

It is thoughtfully furnished with wine glasses and cork screw close at hand. As we were very 'last minute' it was terrific value for money and really did exceed our expectations. The sun did not shine for the entire holiday (shock horror) but we were more than happy when we stayed indoors for any length of time as it really felt like a home. The complex was quiet with ecellent pools, we were not packed like sardins around the pool. Mature lovely gardens. Local owners' rep very helpful. Owner very curtious.
Tips: Aavoid travelling via San Pedro between 1-2:30 and 5:30 to 7 pm. Go to Toni Dallis restaurant for a fun night of out of tune Tenor sing song. Go to Hafez Persian Restaurant in Puerto Benus for good food.
