| "It was a battle to get my wifes case up the flights of stairs but once we settled in it was great! The owners left us fresh milk, some bread rolls, ham and cheese which was a nice touch. Plenty of towels and everything you would need. I would have liked to have stayed longer and I reckon we will come back.
Burgau is a fantastic little seaside village, great bars, cafes, restaurants and beach. Close enough to Lagos and certainly a very welcome relief from being in very busy cities in Europe.
The bar downstairs is great with great staff and the karaoke did not keep us awake.
I thoroughly recommend a stop in Burgau and casa anjos"

| "The apartment had absolutely evreything we could have wished for, from the towels to sky T.V, incredibly spacious and amazing sea views from the balcony. The complex the apartment is set in was very clean, well maintained and very child friendly. The staff were extremely helpful, polite and accommodating. We can certainly see why the owners chose to buy the apartment in the village of Burgau.
Burgau has all the charm of an authentic, rustic, Mediterranean fishing village. The narrow cobbled streets, white washed buildings and stunning cliff top walks made us feel truly off the beaten tourist track. Yet the friendly locals never made us feel anything but welcome visitors in their village. Even though the apartment has everything you would need for home cooking, the tempting range of restaurants meant we ate out every night. Among our favourites were The Beach Bar, for its stunning views and Dom Dinis for its charm and varied menu. The white, sandy beach surrounded by the dramatic cliff face is one of the best beaches we have been to in the Mediterranean. Burgau in its self has everything a young couple or a family could wish for as a holiday destination. we did explore abit further by hiring a car and visiting Sagres with its incredible beach, Lagos for its unforgettable dolphin watching experience, Cape St Vicent for its breath taking views as well as stopping at many beautiful beaches along the way. In short it was a fantastic holiday and we will certainly be back very soon. Thanks again, Marcus and Jo, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk.

| "Casa Anjos is a nice, well equipped, good sized apartment with lovely views over the bay. It is however in need of a little tlc. The plumbing in the bathroom is poor, the oven was dirty and remained unused during our stay and the bedroom doors jammed when shut. There is also Jimmis bar underneath which is open until 2am every night and is extremely loud (so much so that we considered moving). Ultimately, we bought ear plugs which muffled the noise without blocking it out. It didnt ruin our holiday, but it certainly didnt help. The swimming pool was excellent and the Vistamar lunch facilities were good. Ironically, we thoroughly enjoyed drinking at Jimmis during the daytime."

| "The property was perfect for price, location and views. Burgau is a beautiful sleepy little town which is just what we were looking for. The property was fully equipped with everything one needs to have a great self-catering holiday but also next to some lovely rstaurants and bars if you fancy a change of scene."

| "The apartment has the best views ever and was better equipped than we thought with everything we needed to really enjoy our stay.
Ideal position in the village for the beach etc and beautiful pool on site. Restaurants excellent would eat out every night if poss.
No Karaoke when we were there in November so can't comment on noise, we didn't hear anything.
We will be going again."

"Property in an excellent location, great views and apartment had everything you need.
However, was disappointed not warned about the bar below being so noisy, music/karoke went on until 2am some nights and therefore had trouble sleeping."

Really sorry these visitors found it noisy, as far as we are aware from people who live there, the Karaoke is only on one night of the week.
The bar is not directly under the apartment as the review makes it sounds, it is to the right and 3 floors down, it may have been a particularly noisy party that week, but nobody else who has stayed has mentioned anything about it. We will investigate this on behalf of future visitors and place the results here.
Results of our investigation
We have now found out it was definately a particular party of visitors that week and once again we are very sorry it disturbed our visitors. However we do now know there is a Karaoke which takes place twice a week in season and once a week out of season, we are told by all the neighbours it is not usualy that noisy but we would prefer to make people aware of it. Hopefully some of our visitors will really enjoy it.

Just wanted to let you know we had the best holiday ever in your apartment, Burgau is the place we always want to be.
You have a really lovely apartment and it lacks for nothing, the children could come and go and everything was on site for them, the beach was wonderful and so safe and clean.
We are looking at dates for next year and will be in touch.
