Wallmart just outside the gate.
We have visited this villa 3 times now in the last 3 years, clean and tidy with all you could need for a great holiday.

| "My family just returned from a five week vacation including a two week stay at this property. We are pleased to say that in our opinion the villa has been well maintained and lives up to the description and virtual tours provided on the website. We would definitely recommend it to a friend and consider renting again in the future.
We were looking to rent a property that would give us an escape from Mickey & friends at the end of each day and offered some privacy and security. We dismissed a large number of villas as most seemed to be overlooked from all sides of the pool area. Situated on a private gated golf resort that is only a 20 minute drive from the Disney theme parks the villa fulfilled our needs.
The villa had recently been fitted with an electronic keypad lock. This however was the only lock on the front door and personally I would have slept easier if there were a bolt or deadlock that I could apply from the inside when my family were sound asleep overnight.
The advantage of the keypad lock is that you dont need to visit the management office on arrival to collect a set of keys. If on your arrival you dont read the information in the binders left in the villa you may not realise that you do however still need to visit the management office the following day to register and review the housekeeping/inventory report. If you fail to do so you could incur an additional charge for the management company to arrange for someone to come out to you.
I should mention that having a 24-hour Wal-mart so close is ideal.
I have outlined below some areas that could be improved upon (none of which are serious enough to put me off renting the villa again):
- there were a lot more insects floating in the pool each morning than I would have expected which meant a 30 minute cleaning chore before use (not sure if this is to be expected in a tropical climate or whether the filters werent functioning correctly or being run for long enough)
- the double bed in the non-master bedroom was particularly uncomfortable and may need a new matress (you could feel the springs dig into your back)
- the maintenance staff start cutting the grass very early in the morning and this might just wake you up once or twice during your stay (we were prepared for this as it was mentioned in one of the reviews left by a renter)
- lack of bolt/deadlock that could secure the main door from the inside

| "A excellent property for your holiday, the area quite and very spacious with your own pool and backs on to a superior golf course, a 25 minute drive from Disney with Walmart just out side the complex.
This is the second time in two years that we have had this home and would recommend to all."

| "The property was spacious with excellent facilities. Excellent pool area that is toddler proof in that even with the patio doors open the pool can still be cordoned off so that younger children can not access it, this was very re-assuring with a four year old. The PS2 that is in the property was very useful for evening entertainment when we chose to stay in. Overall I would say that the property was good value for money and is perfect for either 1 or 2 families. The only thing that caused us any reason to moan was the constant upkeep of the golf course which the property backed onto, while most of this took place during daytime hours, we were awoken at 6.00am on a couple of morning's by the sound of petrol mowers."

| "My family and I spent a very enjoyable 2 weeks at this immaculate villa and would have no hesitation in recommending it to friends and family. The view from the pool over the golf course was glorious and the whole community well maintained. It was an easy drive to all the theme parks (20-25 mins to Disney) and the huge Walmart at the entrance to the community was very useful."

| "My family enjoyed our stay very much at this villa. The villa was very spacious and clean. We enjoyed the pool very much. It was convenient to have a TV/DVD in each of the bedrooms. The layout of the villa was ideal for 2 families vacationing together.
The only area of improvement I would suggest would be on the emergency number response time. When we called this number for assistance, no one returned our call. Luckily, we managed to sort out our issue on our own.
We would definitely be interested in staying at this beautiful villa next time we are vacationing in Orlando."

| "A comfortable well equipped property in a good location.Only criticism regards Lowreys the local agent. Poor response to problems and location requires 90 min round trip to return the key.
For me high speed internet access would be a useful addition

| "Fantastic Villa, very comfortable and clean, Pool was not working for the first couple of days but I was informed that I would recieve a refund for the days it wasn't working. Golf courde fantastic, dissapointed that that the club house wasn't open after dark and the usual anual new years eve party was cancelled but apart from that everything was great.
Thanks and will definately reccommend to friends."

| "We really had a great time at Southern Dunes. The house was clean and fresh. A brilliant size for our family. Having Walmart at the end of the road was good. Distance from parks was a little further than expected but OK because of good links to I4 road. It was nice to get away from Disney to recharge by the lovely pool each night."

| "The property is excellent. Only complaint is that the swimming pool heater wasn't working (which was my brother's complaint last spring when he was at thesame place). While the property manager and pool guys did their best, we were only able to use the pool on the last day of our stay."
