| "We had a fantastic holiday in Ibiza and the villa was perfect for us all. The location and facilities generally were ideal for our family. Our eldest grandaughter aged 6 learnt to swim in the pool which was an added plus.

| "Absolutely perfect! We girls headed out for a long weekend away and we were met with pure indulgence! The villa provided everything we needed and the information available about the villa and surrounding area was very useful and spot on. Our ages ranged from 30 to 65 and we all came away having had a great time.
The description on the website is very accurate. We didnt hire a car we used taxis and once we got the hang of it, it was incredibly easy (although unless your spanish is great dont try ordering one by phone!). The beaches were heavenly and the location of the villa is perfect. Not too close to all the hustle and bustle but near enough to get involved if you want to.
Loved it thank you!"

| "Casa Alegria is a beautiful villa, set off a secluded road close to Santa Eulalia. The villa has a very homely feel and with 11 guests sharing the house, we did not feel cramped at all. The facilities are of a high standard and the furnishings tasteful and in good order; there is ample fridge and freezer space with the main kitchen downstairs and in the separate apartment upstairs too. We loved the pool and peacefulness of the setting also.
The housekeeper Liz and her husband were extremely helpful on the day of arrival and helped us to orientate ourselves within the area and they were on hand to give us any advice we needed.
A downside is that the villa is quite difficult to find from the maps that we were given and clearer written directions and maps would have been useful. Car hire is a must as cabs in Ibiza are very expensive.
When we arrived the pool had not been cleaned and we had to do this ourselves once we had located the net; it would have been nice for this to have been done before we arrived.
Overall we had a lovely 4 days in Casa Alegria and would definitely consider coming back here again."

I enjoyed Ibiza very much. The house (Casa Alegria) was really nice and the beaches (Niu Blau & Cala Pada) had very good restaurants and a nice sea. The house was really big. It had (ground floor) three bedrooms and bathrooms, loads of extremely nice rooms, a swimming pool which had a shallow end and a deep end, and was quite big. The garden was enormous and all of it was beautiful. There was lots of room in the garden to play sports. On the beaches there were loads of great things to do. There was loads of space and not too many people there. The sea was just right to swim (in). I enjoyed going in the water, and out of the water you can play all sorts of games or you could just sunbathe. There’s loads of sunbeds you could sunbathe on.

| "Alegria is comfortable and has a fun quirkiness about it. Good for couples, even better for familes and the self-catering apartment above the house was very popular. Owners have thoughtfully included just about every amenity to make the stay cozy and we enjoyed hanging around at the house on days we didn't feel like eating out.
The pool and the backyard are what truly set this home apart. It's a very beatiful and peaceful setting, with excellent privacy.
The location is convient and we enjoyed exploring the different towns. It's quiet at night and it's nice to get away from the madness in Evissa. There is a lovely beach nearby and the coastline nearby makes for a beautiful walk.
Defnitely talk to Liz when you first arrive for the places to go and to avoid. Owner Andy was helpful and accomadating whenever possible and the efficiency and responsiveness of the service was very satisfactory."

| " We had a wonderful time - the villa was great particularly in terms of location as I've been looking for years for somewhere walkable to the beach and easy distance from a town yet quiet and in the countryside. Liz (housekeeper)was extremely helpful particularly helping us with car hire which I'm sure isn't in her remit, and Carmen the maid was lovely. We re-explored the island and didn't find a nicer beach than Niu Blau (particularly as it lacked the shaved head/ tattoo brigade which seemed prevalent elsewhere). Also we loved Santa Eulalia both old and new. So many thanks for everything. "

| "We had a fantastic holiday. The property was clean and very well appointed, close to the "Niu Blau" beach (with great chiringuitos) and lovely town of Santa Eulalia. Very quiet. Fantastic pool and garden. The property manager, Liz, was extremely helpful when our car broke down and helped us in every way. There were lots of toys and DVDs for our 4 year-old daughter. We would definitely recommend this 5 star property to anyone."

| "We were 2 families travelling together family one was 2 adults and 3 boys aged 5, 7 and 9 family 2 was 2 adults and 1 girl aged 11. This villa was ideal as we could have our own space the owners had carefully planned for children as everything a child could want was in it a little too much choice for the boys who thought it was christmas morning and couldnt decided what to play with first. The villa was spacious and the pool was great the villas location was in a quiet position but close to the beach all in all a very relaxing place to holiday. would recommend to anyone."

| "Had a great time at the villa, we arrived in dribs and drabs and there were 9 of us in total. There was plenty of comunal space and at no time did we feel like we were on top of each other. The rooms are all nice and big and the bed in our room was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in, infact it has prompted me to buy a new matress!! We had about 10 other friends staying in ibiza that weekend and had a BBQ on the sat afternoon for everyone the villa was perfect for this as it has a great kitchen with two hobs and a lovely ouside space. The only down point for us was the drive to Evissa and the clubs which seemed to take longer each time. But all in all a great villa for a large group. Our group was 4 couples and 1 flying solo aged 27 - 38.

"Lovely holiday, lovely island, lovely villa....My sisters family were very happy with the upstairs apartment - really homely and easy to live in.... We were very comfortable downstairs, especially with the pool and patio - you've done it really nicely. As we commented in the visitors book it's done our kids the world of good confidence wise in the pool, they adored it. The toys in the play area were much appreciated by all of the kids - nice thought.... Thanks for the bottle of Fizz, and your attention to extra detail. We will recommend you if the opportunity arises...

Casa Alegria provides spacious, quality accomodation in a relaxing and
tranquil setting. It took us just minutes to adjust to the pace of life in
this secluded location. Only a short walk from the house are a choice of
beaches with good facilities and a half hour walk along the coast takes you
to Santa Eulalia with it's lively marina - great for lunch"

"Review by Veronica Bailey from London
OCTOBER 2004 Arriving on Ibiza, with only a 20 minute drive from the airport to Casa Alegria, there is a realization that you can be relaxing in the sun by the pool, within the tropical green surroundings so typical of Niu Blau, in a matter of 3 hours from London Stanstead. This traditional detached spanish villa has spacious accommodation suitable for both family and friends, with enough bathrooms, terraces, and garden for you all to relax either together or in your own sun-spot. The large private roof terrace above the main house can be a separate apartment with your own barbecue and views across this fertile land. The perfect place to watch the sun go down in the evening. And in the morning a sublime window view from the bathroom, of olive trees basking in morning sun within the rich red soil reminds you of why you are on holiday. Downstairs sleeps 6-8 (with 3 en-suite double bedrooms) and the large living room opens out onto a stone veranda which overlooks the pool. This area is where the entertaining gets going. A large wooden table and chairs, sheltered from the sun if need be, are the best seats in the house. Once the music is tempo, and the beverages flowing, one can forget the day and time and loose oneself in the beautiful, ambient surroundings that Andrew and Catherine have so successfully created. Dinning 'al fresco' is the best way to enjoy Casa Alegria but should you be recovering from a night or lunch in Ibiza town and needing to get away from the heat of the sun, each bedroom is tastefully decorated, with cool egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy white towels. You can re-charge with a disco nap /siesta before relaxing in this Ibiza's perpetual motion."

"Review by James Straffon from London
OCTOBER 2004 The only downside to staying at Casa Alegria, is you might not see much of Ibiza. Such is the inherent tranquility - from residing amongst fragrant pines, a stones throw from an undisturbed, sheltered beach - you will almost definitely want to indulge yourself, by experiencing every inch of this rustic, characterful oasis. Well-positioned to sample Ibiza's varied markets and towns, we found Casa Alegria provided an ideal base to get into 'island life'. But you can equally stock-up with wares and kick back in this charming haven and let the world go by. Whether lounging around the pool, or feasting to the ubiquitous accompaniment of evening Cicadas, there's scope to relax and unwind, in excess."

First we got a phone call
To say they’d bought a gaff
An invitation followed
They knew we’d have a laff
Ibiza 2004, I recall it makes us quiver
No time to catch a cold
Just sclerosis of the liver!
We boarded all at Stanstead
At a god unsightly hour,
Ten of us in one big house -
It could’ve all gone sour
But the first day was a marker
It started off so great,
John the Don had found a pal
In Bailey - his new mate.
The kids were not a bother
If fed by Cath and Liz!
And John and Andy busy
At the table drinking fizz
Ron and Jim were with us
An experience in their lives
Ronnie busy posing
In her shirt from ‘Readers Wives’
The girls were always busy,
Looking gorgeous daily..
Whilst John just sat in awe
Of the DJ – Andy Bailey
We done the Hippy Market
It made John feel all-weird
So chilled out in Ibiza
That he grew a goatee beard
The guys grew horizontal
A pair of real cool blokes
But JK kept it real
Never holding back bad jokes
Cath and Andy are the nicest
A ‘pair’ way out in front!
Casa Alegria is the greatest
Where you can really act the….goat
As hosts there are no better
In fact they are the best.
Cath just looking gorgeous
And Bailey in his vest!
The 5 of us are honoured
We’ll count our blessings daily
That we stayed ‘in the house’
With the Cat and Andy Bailey
Thanks from your mates – the Keyzees
Great Food, Great Wine – Great Fun
Fat Boy Slim is garbage
You’re the DJ – Number ONE.
