"The Poor rating is given because of the local property manager (Sandi) behavior. In Croatia all tourists must be registered in Police within 48 hours after the arrival.
Sandi (property manager) came to us to fill-in all necessary registration forms and collected the local tourist taxes. He ensured us that now everything is OK and we do not need to go to police.
When 1 week later we were crossing border in Zagreb Airport on the way back to our home country, emigration police officer stopped us because he has no registration data about us in the system. I called Sandi to ask why he did not register us but he replied that he does not responsible for this and it is my own problem. I paid the fine 400 Euro in total because the agency representative did not perform his job. Our holidays impressions were ruined."

Customer chose to ignor the fact that he had to register for the Croatian tourist tax within 48 hours of arrival. He was insructed by the local agent that he had to attend in person. I am sorry he was fined but cannot be held responsible if visitors do not follow the local laws.

| "A beautifully clean and well-maintained apartment, in a lovely quiet area right on the waterfront, but just a few minutes walk from restaurants, bars, shops and a bank.
My only gripe - and this is no reflection on the propertys owner - was noise from the apartment above in the second week I was there. And I searched high and low but couldnt find the ironing board! Otherwise, a superb base for exploring the town and beyond. Thanks, Steve."

"The apartment was excellent and the site was quiet and away from the main town. The views were exceptional. We did feel the kitchen could have been better equipped with at least one mixing bowl for the scrambled eggs! The oven had been left in a very dirty state.
Didnt find a hotel next door with swimming pool.
I would recommend as we enjoyed ourselves very much."

We have since updated the kitchen and added a microwave oven, coffee machine, and electric mixing bowl. The swimming pool is located at the hotel Arcus which is at the end of the street. The problem with the dirty oven has been resolved with the cleaners for future visitors.

| "The view from our balcony was stunning- one of the best in this area, in my opinion. Only a short, flat walk to the centre of Medulin but we felt really removed from all the buzz. The apartment was well kitted out with a feeling of coming home from home. Steve, the owner. couldnt have been more helpful- giving us any info we needed before arrival and Sandi, the agent, was there on arrival to welcome us. Would definitely recommend. We hired a car for the 2 weeks which enriched our experience of Croatia- fantastic!"

"Thanks for a really lovely apartment, Steve and Jane, and for your flexibility over dates. We had a very relaxing time including seeing Norah Jones in concert at the Amphitheatre in Pula! Could'nt believe how relaxing it was just to be in the flat with that fantastic view. Best wishes Helen.
