| "The cottage has been tastefully decorated to a very high standard, it is comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay very much and found Sean, the resident owner, to be very helpful and also unobtrusive. The cottage is in a beautiful and remote part of Galway with easy access to the local beach and a short drive to the connemara airport for a visit to the Aran islands which was one of the highlights of our stay. The other enjoyable attraction was the daily sight of the connemara ponies looking over the fence in the field next the house!"

| "When my wife and I talked about a return visit to Ireland, we always spoke about returning to Galway. When we decided to return with our 3 children and their grandma, we stumbled upon Sean's house on the Internet. The house could not have been more ideal.
We were a bit stunned about how Ireland had changed in the past 13 years but Sean's house helped us connect with the "true" Ireland. The location of Sean's house as well the hospitality he and his relatives showed us had much to do with that.
The spacious house, with its large windows providing beautiful panoramic views left us in awe. Step outside and Cocoa (the 'house' dog) greets you, along with the beautiful silence as you catch sight of a few horses off in the distance. Take a short walk down the lane to the beach and you can spend days with your kids (as we did!) exploring the beach.
While, the beauty and quiet brought home the true Ireland to us, it was also an ideal location for day trips to Galway and the towns in between (Spidell was fun!)
We consider ourselves lucky to have met Sean and found his beautiful house and we're definitely planning on a return trip!
Go and enjoy the house!
Best,
Steve, Mare, Janice, Sean, Shannon and Kendall

| "The Cottage is ideally situated at the end of a narrow lane overlooking the sea. Not the best area of Connemara maybe but compensated by the convenience of being able to cover a very wide area.
The owner lives on site but was really there and takes great pride in the house and is very concerned to ensure that everything is working. He is continuously improving the property, we got Satellite TV half way through our stay."

| "We spent two weeks in the Inverin area this past August. This property was only available for our second week in country. It far exceeded our expectations. From the moment we collected the key to the moment we left it felt like home. The house is extraordinary. The decor was beautiful, especially the woodwork. The kitchen was spectacular. We particularly enjoyed the wealth of counterspace and top of the line appliances. Our family of 9 (7 adults and 2 toddlers) had a wealth of room. This house is a luxurious accomodation. The bathrooms were such a treat with one for each room plus a beautiful large bathroom on the first floor. The property was spotless upon arrival. The house is directly adjacent to the sea which provides beautiful tranquil views from both outside and inside the house. There is a beautiful patio area that overlooks the sea as well. This home was located less than 2 minutes from our relatives so it was extremely convenient. None of us wanted to leave when the time came. We will definitely stay in this beautiful home away from home in the future. I can't say enough about how perfect this property was for our vacation, my only disappointment was that we couldn't stay there for both weeks of our visit! Thanks to Sean for a magnificent experience!"

| "The cottage is well placed for a gentle stroll (10 mins) down a lane to the shore & has lovely views across Galway Bay. Good birdwatching as well!
It has other residental properties very close to it but the area is very quiet overall. Sean lives in the converted garage next to the cottage so is on hand if you require any help.
The accommodation was well presented and the available space was fine for our party of 6 adults - 2 couples and 2 singles.
The nearest shop and pub are within a short driving distance - or a much longer walk!
The highlight for me was the walks along the foreshore, enjoying the ever changing sea & sky."

| "An excellent property - best we have seen! Why?
5 ensuite bedrooms with big double beds that felt like mini appartments;
Superb cleanliness;
Equisite decor;
All modern conveniences/gadgets you could possibly need;
Wonderful reading area - ideal for our nightly story telling sessions;
Magnificent views over Galway Bay;
Patio - private and a sun trap;
Plentiful parking space;
Shop nearby;
Pub within walking distance;
2 minutes to the sea;
Lots of places of interest to visit - Lough Corrib, Round Stone, Pearse'sCottage etc. Area of wild beauty.
Great value for money;
Real Irish hospitality shown by Sean the owner.
So impressed we are going to book for next year.

| "The property was everything we expected and more. The house has lots of room and of very high quality. We had 7 adults and 5 children under 8 years old and we all had plenty of room. The views from the cottage are beautiful and very accessible for walks but far enough away that we didn't have to worry about the 1 1/2 year old making it to the water too quickly. An extra bonus was a horse and its foal that came up to the fence for the children to feed apples. There are pretty little beaches within walking distance and some larger beaches a short drive away. There is a very nice pub within walking distance that the guys enjoyed most nights. They gave the Guiness very high marks. This says alot because all three were from Ireland. It is the perfect destination if you want a house near the water that is in a remote location but at the same time you can get to several villages or the city of Galway in a few minutes for restaurants, shopping or additional nightlife. It is only about a 15 minute ride to Salthill outside of Galway where ther is a small fun fair (carnival), a Leisure Center with indoor swimming pools and pony treking where they take you down to a beautiful beach to ride by the ocean. So there is loads to do if you have children within easy reach and nightlife and restaurants from small village to the larger city of Galway. The Standun shop in Spiddel is a great place for Irish gifts. Also the Aran Island ferry is only a 20 minute drive away. Sean the owner is a great host. Very informative, friendly and patient with children. Everyone in our group of twelve had a great time and we are talking about doing it again in a few years. We would highly recommend this cottage."

| "This was probably my seventh visit to Ireland. The first with my husband and family. Although I was excited for them, it being their first time, I knew that it wouldn't be the same for me as nothing compares with your first time in Ireland. After previously staying in first class hotels and 5 star B&B's this was by far the best accommedations that I have ever stayed at. The villa was spotless, with all the modern conveniences, even more than at home. However when you looked out any window or went outside there was no doubt that you were in Ireland. You could see the stone walls, the cows grazing, as you looked out to Galway Bay. You also could see the Cliffs of Mohr and Aran Islands across the bay. The location was suburb! Everyday we ventured out taking day trips to Galway, the Aran Islands, Bunratty Castle, and Conamara and arrived home, because that 's what it felt like, before the sun had completely set. We'd have dinner and talked about our day's experience and and where we'd be going the next day. The owner was absolutely brilliant with his quick wit and Irish hospitality. He and my husband got along grand. I can not say enough about this beautiful place on earth and hope to return again some day soon."

| "Ailleacht an Ghleanna. Fabulous. If you are looking for a beautiful tranquil place with a first class property to stay in, then look no further.
Only yards from the coastline with a magnificent outlook. Chill out from the start with a genuine warm welcome from Sean.
About 25-30 minute drive to Galway. Plenty of good restaurants and bars on route. Make it as busy as you want or as quiet as you want.
Sean, was lovely. He had a vast knowledge of the area and was very helpful indeed.
A true five star property Sean - we WILL be back."

| "This was my first trip to Ireland - I can't wait to go back!!! Staying at Sean's cottage felt like the Ireland I had always imagined and dreamed of. From the view of the ocean, the rock walls that surrounded us..it made us feel like we were in heaven. Location, location, location. We were able to venture off to so many different venues during our short stay. We made the most of our days (go, go, go), but when we got "back home" we had everything we need to cook a nice meal and then ease into the quiet night and slept like logs!!!! The house made our trip a memorable one! The generosity of Sean was service at it's best. He anticipated our needs and was there for us whenever we needed anything. He made our trip one of the best vacations ever! Thanks so much.
P.S. Make sure you visit the town of Round Stone - you'll never want to leave!"

| "If you'd love to spend time in the Irish countryside but wouldn't mind some city shopping and eating, this is the holiday home for you! I was excited to find when I got to Ireland this home is nestled in the quiet countryside but a short 20min trip to Galway! you get the best of both worlds! The house is gorgeous with plenty of room for large groups of 8 or so overlooking Galway Bay..accomodation is top rate and everything is there at your fingertips..the owner Sean is very personable and has great knowledge of the area and is very happy to answer any questions..I would rent this property again in a heart beat.. Very comfortable and homey!! Sarah, Maine USA"

| "If you are destined for the West Coast of Ireland Ailleacht an Ghleanna is a magical place.
Situated by the sea (with a resident seal colony) the views are magnificent, the house itself – contemporary, comfortable and beautiful and the welcome from Sean, the owner, most hospitable. A perfect place for family and group get-togethers.
