"The house was beautiful and it was perfect for us. All the little extras were appreciated as well. Beautiful setting. The management company was very helpful when the internet didnt work properly. They were quick to respond. Here are some suggested improvements.
Kitchen is well stocked, but the knives really need to be replaced. The garbage can does not open and close properly, perhaps replace this too.
The flooding problem in the front garden really should be fixed. The stagnant water and mold is not very good.
The information in the welcome book is out of date including the info about the second key and the garage door opener. The prices for the parks and the maps all need to be updat ed as well.
We would highly recommend the property to friends and family.

Thanks for your comments and I am glad you enjoyed it and would reccomend it. In answer to your points: the garbage lid has been replaced endless times. The bin men run over it which is why it never completely fits but I dont think that really is a problem. I had the managing agent look at the water issue you refer to. He tells me there is no problem and there is no stagnant water or mold! I think you went in the rainy season and when it rains it really does rain. Those houses do not have rainwater drainage so the water stays in puddles in the flower beds but it dries out quickly and is usually gone the next day. When the agent went there there was no problem and no mold and no one else has ever mentioned it. As for the info in the welcome book it is pretty comprehensive but the prices are out of date. Disney change their prices all the time as you will appreciate. The welcome book is merely intended as a guide and I do not as a rule re-print the book when there is a price rise. But that it is a small point as I am sure you will appreciate. Regards Martin

| "A wonderful Villa with a good sized pool and beautiful outlook. We have stopped in many villas and this was by far the best furnished and equipped. Definitely has a wow factor.
Internet connection recently upgraded to a good reliable broadband connection with Wi-Fi throughout the villa, and I was even able to use my laptop outside by the pool!
I would highly recommend this villa."

| "This was our first time renting a vacation home and while I loved the idea of it I have to admit I was a little nervous that what would actually be waiting for my family and I at our desitnation may not live up to our expectations/images portrayed. Villa Renters rating system made me feel more comfortable and dealing with Marin (property owner) also helped greatly.
I have to say that we were more then pleased with Martins beautiful home and its location. Martin was very responsive to any questions I had in the initial stages and even called us the week before we departed to wish us a safe and enjoyable time. THe house was clean and had everything you could ever need. Pack light, no need for hairdryers, towels, not even the sunblock!!!
I would recommend Martin Browns home to anyone!
OH and I cant close without saying how much we enjoyed the pool and the view! (we even saw the Alligator several times)!

| "Having been let down at the last minute with our original booking, we were so relieved to find this house at such short notice that we didnt really consider what it might be like - we were just grateful to have somewhere to stay!
From the moment the initial enquiry was made, the owners were in contact and kept up their communication with us throughout our stay. Nothing was too much for them.
The house itself is magnificent, with a sense of space that is instantly relaxing. Tastefully furnished throughout and with every appliance you can think of. There were only four of us so we rattled around a little but, if I were to go back to Florida, I would book this house again without hesitation.
It is ideally situated for all the major theme parks, restaurants and shops - yet its secluded enough to allow you to kick back and relax by the pool. We all enjoyed our stay tremendously and I would have no hesitation at all in recommending the house to any future visitors. Its just a shame we had to come back, really . . ."

| "I always believe reviews are an excellent way of choosing a villa, and this was one of the reasons we chose this one. This is the third florida villa I have stayed in, and was by far and away the best! The villa felt homely from walking in and was well decorated and clean.
The guide book in the villa was extremely helpful and clearly written and the owners very nice and polite.
I would definitely recommend this villa and would consider coming back again.
An excellent choice to help make your holiday extra special!

| "Villa was situated on the best lakeside location I have stayed in. Good wildlife spotting oportunities (especially the 3 cranes following us to lake edge to watch the young gator!)
Good amenities in villa, tv fantastic & pc came in useful for checking menus and opening times etc. Owner extemely helpful - late checkout made last day more bearable! Would definately recommend to others

"The property was wonderful, and our family/guests enjoyed the open floor plan. However, we strongly suggest that renters secure alternative directions to the location. The directions provided by the rental management company are poor, at best, and delayed our arrival to the house.

Well first of all I am glad to hear the property lived up to your expectations and that you all enjoyed yourselves. However, I do wonder if there is some confusion about the directions. The rental management company do not provide directions- you get them (actually two sets) emailed from this site when funds are paid. I did email this guest before they left to ensure they had everything but I didn't get a response so assumed it was all ok. The directions are only from the airport but I went to a great deal of trouble to ensure they were comprehensive as are all of the directions in the helpsheets left at the house; everyone else has been happy with them and in fact we have had a lot of complimentary comments about the information and directions as evidenced by the reviews on this page. So I am a bit confused that the guest found them unsatisfactory. I wonder if the guest had the right directions with them. In any event I'll review them to make sure but once again I am glad that you liked the house as that is the most imortant thing. Martin

| "Fantastic house. We were looking forward to staying at this house anyway but now we have been we can honestly say that this villa totally made our holiday special. Stayed in a few different villas in florida before and this one tops the lot. The facilities, views, and decor were all magnificent and the owners were a joy to deal with. even a huge Walmart just up the road (on way to/from Disney).

IT WAS NICE NOT TO BE CONFINED TO ONE HOTEL ROOM ESPECIALLY WITH HAVING 2 YOUNG KIDS AGED 5 AND 3.THERE WAS 8 OF US IN THE HOUSE AND THERE WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH ROOM FOR US ALL.THE HOUSE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND ALL THE LITTLE EXTRAS THAT THE OWNERS HAVE PUT IN THE HOUSE MADE ALL THE DIFFERENCE.IT WAS GREAT HAVING TV'S AND DVD PLAYERS IN ALL THE ROOMS AS IT MEANT OUR 16 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER COULD GO OFF TO HER ROOM AND WATCH SOMETHING IN PEACE WITHOUT THE 2 YOUNGER ONES BOTHERING HER.WHICH MADE LIFE ALOT EASIER FOR ALL OF US.IT WAS GREAT TO HAVE THE POOL THERE BECAUSE IT WAS JUST WHAT WE NEEDED AFTER A LONG HOT DAY AT THE THEME PARKS.
EVERYTHING YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED IS IN THE HOUSE AND IT WAS SO GOOD NOT HAVING TO FILL OUR SUITCASES WITH BEACH TOWELS AS THERE ARE PLENTY AT THE HOUSE.WE HIRED THE SAT NAV SYSTEM FROM THE OWNERS AND WE WOULD RECOMMEND IT.I DONT THINK WE WOULD OF MANAGED WITHOUT IT.IT WAS ESPECIALLY USEFUL COMING HOME FROM THE THEME PARKS AT NIGHT ONCE IT WAS DARK AND ALL THE ROADS LOOKED THE SAME.
WE WOULD DEFINITELY BOOK THIS HOUSE AGAIN AND WE WOULDNT EVEN BOTHER TO LOOK AT ANY OTHER ONES.THIS HOUSE WOULD BE OUR FIRST AND ONLY CHOICE.

| "The house was spacious and spotlessly clean.The swimming pool was large and if you pay for the heating you will notice it ,unlike other properties.The book of tips was fantastic and enormously helpful.It included door to door directions and non Disney alternatives which we tried and loved.
The property exceeded expectations and the description on the website was accurate which is sadly not always the case.
I will definitely return here if I ever need accommodation near Disney."

| "Lucky for us this was our fourth visit to the Sunshine State and our first time in a Villa. This house is not a Villa but a beautifull home, you can tell that every care has been taken to make your stay the best it can be and the owners have not failed in any area. Clare and Martin were so helpfull with information and tips before we left and this carried on with the information we found at the house. We have showed so many people the pictures and the video's since we got back and their re-action has been the same as ours..WOW...To wake up in the mornig and swim in the pool was always the start to some great days and not all of them with Mickey.My children are 18 and 16 and this was said to be our last family holiday all together, I can see that changing when we book for next year. I could keep going on for ages but will finish by saying a massive THANK YOU to Martin and Clare from the very happy to be there but sad to be home...David, Julia, Kimberley, Mathew and Chris...."

That was a real shame. The client was only at the house for a week and we couldn't get the pool man out to fix the pool heat in time as it was a matter covered by the pool warranty rather than just a routine maintenance issue. Glad you enjoyed it anyway and the pool heat is back on now.

| "What a wonderful house, great location with nice views overlooking a lake; nice and peacful after a busy day in the theme parks. The house was beautifully furnished with lots of personal touches which made it feel very homely and comfortable to be in. The location is perfect for visting the theme parks, horse riding, petting farm, airboat rides and other local attractions and restaurants - Denny's for breakfast and Olive Garden for good meals out and take aways. In addition to this we were really impressed with the information and communication provided by Martin the owner before travelling - this helped plan a more organised and enjoyable trip for first timers. | "Look no further! If you want a really spacious comfortable home from home, with that extra touch of luxury for an instantly relaxing family holiday, then this really is the villa for you. Our third visit to Florida and this the best property we have stayed in by far. This large, extremely smart, and spotlessly clean villa is situated about half an hour's easy drive to the main theme parks in a quiet residential development in the countryside well away from main roads. The stunning lakeside vista and local birdlife are enchanting, breakfast outside with the sun rising over the lake and swimming in the pool by moonlight both experiences that should not be missed. Our children loved chilling out in front of the giant TV in the lounge after a tiring day at the theme parks. Very comfortable and well equipped and particularly suitable for one or two families (or extended family) to share, with a particularly enormous master bedroom suite, we would have no hesitation recommending this property to others. Difficult to understand why anyone would ever want to pay a fortune to stay in a noisy, cramped hotel... Highly recommended."

| "The property is excellent value for money. The owners have done an excellent job in making you feel like you are at home and not just in a rental villa. We were so impressed we reduced our plans to visit Tampa for a week following our visit to Orlando and booked an extra few days at the villa.
As is the case in most of America, it will be essential to have a car to get to the villa and to travel to theme parks etc, but these are all within approximately 20 minutes drive of the villa.
We will definately be booking again the next time we visit the states.
The owners Martin and Claire and the management company they use have been excellent and really helpful throughout the whole process.

| "When we first got to the house our jaws dropped. If this was our house there is no way we would rent it out. It is absolutely fabulous. My wife and her friend sat staring at the curtains wondering how we could make them for our own home back in the UK. It is furnished superbly and I agree with what other people have said: the 'photos don't do it justice. It's like a filmstars house. It made our holiday and we are definitely coming back. | "Cala Lily Cove was more than any humanbeing could ever ask for. It made us feel as though we were royalty. Every room was furnished and decorated with sheer elegance. It provided us with so much warmth and a since of peace,it's impossible to find any where else. Although it was our very first trip to Florida it made us feel right at home. The owners are real people with a loving heart { thanks Martin and Claire} and the property manager {Tina } checked on us long enough to see if everything was ok, but left us to our selves to enjoy our vacation. | "This is truly a five star executive house, easily large enough for two families to share. The owners have equipped the house to an exceptionally high standard, with quality furnishings throughout. There was plenty for us all to enjoy, with TV/DVD's in all bedrooms (DVD's provided), table tennis and bar football in garage, massive TV in lounge, a PC and playstation in the study area, plus a superb heated swimming pool and jacuzzi. This was a holiday home that all the family were sad to leave."
