| "This is a wonderful property that did not disappoint. It is spacious, airy, comfy and boasts wonderful views of Lake Garda and the town of Salo. It is well maintained and while there were a few hiccups on arrival the owners acted quickly to put things right. The kitchen is so well appointed and designed that we chose to cook for ourselves more often than wed planned! The communal pool area works very well despite the number of apartments in the Villa. The location, which is several kilometers up a very steep and windy road, is both an added attraction and a drawback! It is in a quiet location with great views and it is cooler than down at the Lake. However, it is not within walking distance of local amenities and the drive to and from Salo takes 20 minutes, great concentration and a car and driver worthy of the challenge!"

| "Spacious and comfortable apartment restored to a high standard in a beautiful historic building. Stunning views over the lake from the grounds and aparrtment balcony. A steep and twisting 4km drive up to the apartment would not be to everyones taste, and a car is essential. Steep steps, hard stone surfaces and (at night) dark corners mean the property is not really suitable for the elderly or infirm, and young children cannot be left unattended."

| "The apartment was extremely well decorated, furnished, equipped, and was spotless when we arrived.
We think it should be more obvious as to when the pool is open, as it appeared to be different on the various different web sites through which the property could be booked. Although the pool was not usable when we arrived 23rd May, contacting the owner resulted in the cleaning happening, although sadly it was not ready until the day that we left. Apparently the pool is not generally available before June as most of the apartment owners are Italians who only come in the summer.
Wonderful views from the balcony of Lake Garda, which we very much enjoyed. Very quiet, and nice to escape up the hill at the end of the day from the busy lakeside.
Temperature of the flat was nice and cool, even on very hot days (we experienced a heat wave during our stay at the end of May 2009).
There were some leaflets and maps in the apartment, which were very useful, but there could have been more information on recycling and opening times of shops. For example, the Italmark in Roe is only open on the first Sunday of each month. However, there is a useful corner shop open on Sunday morning in Tormini.
Overall we very much enjoyed our stay at Il Palazzo "La Terrazza" and did not want to leave!"

| "On arriving at the property you get a sense that it is a property of high standard. the reception staircase to the apartment is impressive and the rest of the apartment did not let us down. The 4km drive up the widing mountain road was OK after a few trips down to the supermarket. The shared pool was excellent and other facilities were all of a high standard.
We would recommend the apartment to others - we will always remember the spectacylar view of the lake from the balcony."

| "We could not have asked for a more stunning spot from which to enjoy the splendour of Lake Garda. Il Palazzo la terrazza was everything we had hoped it would be - and more. From the fabulously appointed and equipped accommodation to the absolutely beautiful location, we were blown away by its majesty. In fact we found ourselves never wanting to leave the house, perched high on a hillside ledge after a twisting 4km mountain drive. Altogether, an unforgettable experience."
