| "hi garry and doctor sue, the crazy gang had a brilliant holiday, the villa was out of this world everything we needed was there and more besides. the pool was a welcoming site in the morning as the sun was coming up we spent hours of fun with all the water toys to use.the gardens are very private and beautiful with plenty of space to chill out ,the sun terrace is a must to get a tan and see the salt lakes. last but not least we have to say a big thankyou to garry for all his help,he was a great host and made us feel welcome as soon as he picked us up at the airport, and having a sing song on the return journey, and in between taking us to supermarkets and places of interest we also need to thank sue for her help with the prickly heat the yoghurt worked we will definitely be booking la yuka again best wishes to you both from elaine,steve,janet,ian,and hilda"

| "From the transfer pick-up to the transfer dro p-off at the aiport, everything was of the highest quality.The Villa is really something else, both inside and outside in the gardens.Everything was spotlessly clean & tidy. You really want for nothing.When we arrived, the fan in one bedroom was not working but within one hour a brand new one was in stalled. Gary & Sue do a brilliant job as hosts, rep,s and tourist information.(plus a super taxi service) All being well we will definately be visiting LA-YUKA again next year.Cheers Gary & Sue and once again THANKS for everything.

"Stunning villa with lots of space in quiet rural location. car needed to visit beach and local towns, very traditional un touristy towns nearby. Villa very clean and lovely tasteful furniture fab air conditioning. Pool great with lovely gazebo by pool giving very welcome shade, perfect for lunch and sangria. bbq was new big gas one so we spent lots of time eating in and dining al fresco. kids loved villa and pool. fun to watch bats flying at night, so quiet you can hear their wings flap. If you want some luxury and to see some real spain, this is the place to come. Beach at Guardamar great, visit Moncaio quieter and very beautiful.""

"would recommend to everybody,the villa was fantastic and we were all really shocked by how nice and homely it was when we arrived. the pool was fantastic. The surrounding area of the villa including all the bars and restaurants were fantastic. Had lots of late nights at the bars and found it very easy to find our way back. The communication with the owner was fantastic through out and he eased a lot of query's we had thanks . Garry was absolutely fantastic picking us up from the airport for a small fee and also returning in mid week to pick up our friend Steven,he also took us all back to the airport for our return home,and not forgetting that he also took us and picked us up from the waterpark.which turned out to be a fantastic day. Garry also took us to the local complex and showed us wear the shops bars and restaurants were so we could pick up essentials as soon as we got there.he gave us a fantastic tour around the villa showed us wear everything was and how it worked, Garry really couldn't have done anything more for us than he did. thanks a lot Garry. An all round fantastic holiday for us five lads would not hesitate in returning. Thank you from Jim,Tim,Tim,Steve and Steele.""

"Our family was very disappointed with this property. It claims to be a luxury villa and on first impressions it looked fairly impressive with modern kitchen but in reality was a sham. This propertys master suite was very modern with an on suite to match with sauna shower and spa bath. Every time the sauna shower was used it blew the fuses so it was unusable and the bath was also unusable as it didnt seem to get any hot water. When we questioned the owner he said ‘youll never fill that bath up youll have to empty the boiler and wait for it to heat again several times over ‘which of course is very unpractical. And he also told us ‘not to use more than one shower at any one time’ even though it boasts 3 bathrooms with showers.
The shutters on the outside of the property were in very bad condition and we needed to use them as our stay was in some very hot weather, the air conditioning worked very intermittently and was quite temperamental, the owner had fitted a system where all the doors must be shut in order for it to work which at first seems sensible but it meant every time a door was opened it had to be reset and the property was always stifling hot as you could not leave it on if you we not in the property, it took several hours of you being inside with all the doors closed for it to cool down. We would have been more than happy to pay for the air conditioning we used so that we could have it running as and when we wanted it.
The kitchen was very modern and had a lot equipment although it lacked a dishwasher which found unusual in a "luxury property" but it wasnt the end of the world. What was disturbing was the fact that the outlet pipe on the sink leaked, which the owner obviously knew about as there was a bowl under it but unfortunately the owner failed let us know and the bowl over flowed leaving a flooded cupboard and random puddle.
The washing machine was broken when we arrived and the owner promised to fix it the next day it took 4 days for him to return to fix it.
Several of the light fittings in the property didnt work which could have been easily fixed.
But what was most frightening was the fact that all the family went down with ear infections after using the pool. Our son was very ill and we had to seek medical attention from the local hospital and indeed 8 days on he is still unwell and receiving treatment.
To add insult to injury on the last day we had to vacate at 10 am, which is a task in its self when dealing with a large party consisting of several children, but we were on schedule and the owner and the cleaning staff turned up at 10 mins early to take over the property and stood over us as we made final preparations and the saw us off the premises. I would like to have challenged the owner there and then but our son was still very ill and our priority was getting him home to England.
It was such a shame as the problems could be easily fixed and it was a beautiful villa. I also read through their comment book which was kept at the villa to see if anyone else had a similar experience but the book had many pages missing from it which is an indication we were not alone.
I think a larger hot water tank needs to be installed to cope with the amount of people that it is advertised to accommodate. It was disappointing, we are frequent visitors to this part of Spain and have therefore stayed in many villas which have been cheaper but yet better kept. In our opinion the owners need to take more time between guests to fix problems as they occur, it was a case of one in one out.

If you could have informed me of your disappointments, maybe I could have resolved any issues you had. I have to admit that all of your issues come as a huge surprise to me as La Yuka Villa is regarded as our flagship, and this is the first time that these points have been raised. We do not doctor our guest book or our internet reviews, and as you can see none of your points have ever been raised, however we will address the situation, and hope your comments can be of an advantage to us in striving to improve our facilities.
It is as you mentioned, a shame that if you had only pointed out the problems, maybe I could have helped to resolve any issues you had.

Arrivé à laréoport dAlicante premier contacte avec Garry.
Un accueil super sympas il nous a mit directement à laisse avec un grand sourrir.
Arrivée à la Yuka nous avons fait connaissance,
avec Zusane qui nous attendaient à lentrée avec un accueil chaleureux.
Garry nous a montré en détail la villa.
Une villa super équipées avec tous ce-quil faut pour passer des vacances de rêve.
Tous étais parfait à linterieur comme à lextérieur.
Garry à fait le taxi pour nous et à plusieurs reprise il nous a conduit au restaurant, à la plage, et dans les magasins et toujours avec un grand sourrir toujours la pour nous satisfaire.
Nous recommandons cet endroit de rêve la Yuka
à toutes personnes qui veulent passer des vacances en touts tranquilité et réussie.
Facilité daccès pour les restaurants ,magasin, pharmacie etc, à proximité facile daccès à pieds.
Je termine ce petit commentaire en vous disant Garry et Zusane encore merci pour tous .On ne vous oublieras pas ET REVENIR ON FERA.

"From the moment we arrived we were met with the friendly face of Sue whom gave us a full, comprehensive tour around this fantastic villa. Too many times we have been away where the photos have been taken in a manner that over compliments the actual reality. Not in this case, everything you see is as good in reality as it is on the website and in many instances better. A Pool side fridge and toilet meant all your whims are catered for and the villa itself is immaculate and very well stocked. Nice bars and restaurants are a five minute walk across an open park. This has been described by some as wasteland, having been to spain many times, this is a park and it was very easy to walk across. Garry and Sue were never intrusive but you always had the comfort that they were there if needed. We were a young group (average age 30) and the 6 of us had one of the best holidays we have ever had. All i can say is book it if its available, you wont regret it."

"It is not very often I am moved to write a review of a house I have rented as we do it very frquently in our family. I travel extensively for my job and as a result use rented accomodation very frequently. Sometimes you are lucky and you find a good property, sometimes you can get a helpful host - but at La Yukka we found both!
The villa is just beautiful, the best facilities of anything I have stayed in. It was very well stocked with everything you could need and I have to say it was absolutely spotless. The area is residential and the Spanish neighbours were friendly.
Gary and Sue were fantastic - without imposing you knew Gary was just at the end of the phone at any time. Their advice on local restaurants, bars, beaches, markets etc was invaluable.
Our stay could not have been happier and this was due to Gary & Sues attention to detail and the way they maintain this beautiful property.
I cant say enough about how much we enjoyed it - we have 3 daghters 19, 15, and 12 and it is the first time they have agreed on anything! ever!
We would recommend this villa without hesitation - even though I was reluctant to do so as it feels like the best secret and we fear it may well become difficult to get a booking once people discover it!
Thanks again Gary & Sue for a really excellent week, we will definitely be back.

"We would all like to thank Garry and Sue for welcoming us to their villa. It exceeded our expectations we really enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely villa to stay in.
We would love to come back soon. Lovely area, close to Torrevieja centre, beach and local shops and great restuarants. We thought the weather was very nice for April time.

"What a beautiful villa - and absolutely everything was provided by the owners Gary and Susan. The customer service provided was also second to none. Gary couldnt have been more helpful. Giving us advice re where to go, eat etc and also provides a taxi service at very reasonable rates. We would have no hesitation recommending this villa and the area to anyone. Only very small downside is the restaurants and bars which are very close but too British - ie serving cheap british fare. However there were a number of very nice restaurants in Torrevieja Torrevieja and surrounding areas very beautiful. Thanks again go to Gary"

"Really nice villa fully loaded with everything you could possibly need, pool and garden area was really nice, made full use of the BBQ. Would recommend renting a car if you want to get out and about as its slightly out the way. Local facilities i.e shops are a good 15 minute walk and the main supermarket is a car journey. There are a few bars 10 minutes away accross some waste land which is not ideal when with young children or pushchairs. Gary was very helpful and couldnt do enough for us. Overall an amazing villa and ok area and facilities. Will try and revisit and have recommended to friends."

"The villa was clean and had every thing anyone could possibly want, pool great, barbeque great, facilities in the villa excellent. Shops(English butcher in Elenas supermarket) and bars were five minutes walk in both directions. Gary the owner is brilliant, sorts out any problems for you and is more than willing to help out with transport to anywhere at a very reasonable cost.Small waterpark five minutes walk away and free for under fours. We would certainly use this villa again."

We cant thank you enough for our fabulous stay at La Yuka! It far exceeded our expectations! We had the best time. It is difficult when holidaying with little ones, but everything was to hand, the villa was well stocked with everything you could imagine!!
Gary was always at the end of the phone, and nothing was too much trouble, we happened to mention that we were thinking of hiring a pushchair, as we had left ours at home like fools, but no sooner had we said it, Gary and Sue turned up with a brand new Graco pushchair for the villa and our use!!
The description of the property and photos do the place no justice. There is a lovely split level roof terrace, an outside loo, an outside bar and beautiful BBQ area, the pool is stunning (and well kept) the grounds are gorgeous, the villa is secure (also a worry with little ones) the kitchen is fab and stocked with every herb and spice imaginable, the lounge is really spacious (there were 8 of us staying, and not once did it feel crowded) and the bedrooms were just lovely.
cannot recommend this place enough. Perfect villa, perfect holiday, perfect weather, just perfect all round!! We will return........

"although this villa is of a very high standard there rae 1 or 2 issues that really need to be addressed.
When arriving after very long journey with kids in tow it was very disappointing to be told that the villa was still being cleaned i know we where a little early but it would have been nice to be able to dro p the luggage
off rather than be told that it took them 11 hours to clean the villa last time (maybe cleaners should be hired)
also why have a music centre at the BBQ bar if you can not use it? yes its true. gary told us one morning that if we are not quite after 11pm we would get a visit from the police and could be taken to the airport and sent home as this is a quite area well gary please be assured we never made any such noise and anyway my mum said as we where on holiday i could say up till midnight as iam almost 50.
sorry gary but those things needed to be said please lighten up people work hard all year and pay good money to visit your villa we dont need the hassle that you provide.if you require a lesson on how to look after your guest than maybe you would like to visit my villa in portugal and i will show you how its done i promise you can stay up as late as you like good luck gary

Thank you very much for your comments; we will take them on board. Any feedback we get helps us to improve our standards, we do appreciate them. I do apologise for you not being able to obtain entry to La Yuka at midday, this was due to the fact that our guests previously didn’t vacate the villa until 10 am that same day, and to provide the high standard that you received. We tend to allow ourselves 5 hours to prepare for our next guests, this why we state in our advert that our earliest time of arrival is 3 pm, however I do apologise for any inconvenience caused. Our aim is to ensure all our guests a memorable holiday, and we are aware that people save all year for their holidays, with this in mind we will endeavour to obtain a license from the authorities for those who like to party late. Thank you for your comments and the gesture of good luck, I wish you good luck also with your villa in Portugal.

TOP CLASS VILLA WITH GARRY WHO DID EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO MAKE OUR STAY GREAT , CLEAN VERY TIDY INSIDE AND A FAB POOL THAT WE HAD MANY HOURS OF FUN IN.
YOU NEED A CAR TO GO TO THE BEACH AND SOME OF THE OTHER ATTRACTIONS BUT ITS ONLY 10 MINS AWAY FROM MOST THINGS.
EATING OUT WE FOUND THE CHINESE BUFFET TASTY AND THE BEST FOOD WAS FROM HOGGIES BAR ALL WITH IN A FEW MINUTE WALK .
WILL BOOK AGAIN SOON WHEN I SAVE SOME MORE PENNIES.
