| "Lovely apartment, highly recommended.
The internal pictures are accurate, its hard to get an external shot so something nearby has been substituted.
Parking is either expensive or some way away but well worth the walk along the lakeside. Park near the swimming pool - especially on a Friday night, Saturday is market day so most of the large free car park is reserved
Salo is lovely, a good size with many good places to eat - try tre Papillon.
Pity the exchange rate is so poor otherwise we would come back every year.
Try it - you will love it."

| "Our visit was heavily influenced by the weather which was very hot - 37%. The flat was comfortable and well positioned. The two mobile air conditioning units did their best but we were still very hot and uncomfortable so perhaps August is not the month to visit. One problem with the electricity tripping was easily rectified by a text to the agent but since it had obviously happened before it would have been helpful to have the details included in the instructions.
Position in the town was super and Salo itself was charming. Parking was not an issue - the car park was five minutes walk away and cost 13 euros a day. If you followed the instructions from the car park, it was relatively easy even with luggage with only a very few steps to negotiate.
Enjoyed the area very much - saw more of the mountains than anticipated to cool off but we pleased we had since the scenery was fantastic.

| "A very well appointed apartment in an excellent position in central Salo. A very good base for exploring Lake Garda. Parking is not straightforward, but there is a free car park 10 minutes walk away."

| "We enjoyed our stay, good having two bathrooms.
Negative comments:- only had a hob, no oven or microwave, and quite noisy at weekends"

| "All the information provided was accurate - a bit of a nuisance having to collect keys en route. Great location and the apartment was well equipped. Having been at Lake Como only last September, we found Salo beautiful but significantly more expensive than we had expected. The free car park was fine but because of Easter 6 out of the 11 days we were there we were paying £10 per day in a multi storey. I have seen it elsewhere but £60 for cleaning felt very expensive, especially as you have to leave pretty clean not to be penalised"

| "Property was in an excellent location, a good size, very clean and well equipped. Even with a buggy and a crawling baby, we found it to be a great place for a relaxing family holiday.
Lack of parking is a bit of a drawback, but we actually enjoyed the 15 minute walk to the free car park each day!
Few bits and pieces needed attention, such as the toilet seats were loose and the shower door kept sticking, but these things are all easily fixable and were a very minor problem.
Fantastic help to have towels in the property too.
Overall I would definitely recommend this apartment - just not on the weeks that Id like to book it next!"

| "We had a fantastic holiday. The apartment is in an excellant location, close to the lake at SALO. The standard of the accomodation is very high. It was especially good to have two bathrooms so this apartment would suit two couples or a family with older children.
No complaints at all about the apartment. Great to have an air con unit for the every warm weather. TV/video/satellite was good although there are very few english channels.
SALO is a lovely lakeside town. Not tacky or too touristy but lots of lovely cafes and restaurants. Loved the evening musical entertainment in the town. Need to walk to the beaches but we enjoyed this.
Garda ferries come to a spot two minutes from the apartment so that is handy. Bus stop is close by as well. So no complaints at all about transport and connections.
SUggest travelling to Brescia airport rather than Bergamo for convenience.
Brilliant. Would recommend this location and apartment to anyone.

| "Prime location, right in the heart of the hussle and bussle and very close to the ferry terminal. Well maintained and clean apartment (although this would be expected given that an additional £80 is charged for the professional cleaning.) The kitchen was well equipped and as a guest who was arriving well after the supermarkets had closed, the property managers kindly provided tea, milk, bread etc for my arrival. Directions and instructions provided were excellent. Overall, a fab apartment and a great service. Thank you."

| "Well appointed apartment, well equipped and finished. As seasoned travellers appreciated the towels and linen considering the poor weight allowance on flights nowadays.
Salo a was beautiful and quiet town though a bit more expensive than towns like Riva etc.
Saturday market very spacious with good bargains.
Only drawback was the only air conditioning unit was a portable one and as it leaked we were unable to use it in constant 33deg heat."

| "Property was in a good location. Overall rating is the property was unsuitable for children - it was not possible to lock the patio doors which opened from the sitting room or bedrooms - given the property was on the third floor it was dangerous as children could easily fall. Also, the fact that there was no parking with the apartment or nearby caused us alot of difficulty - having to carry the children/baggage/food shopping a long distance.
Overall, I was not happy with the apartment. Though the apartment was nicely equipped - kitchen equipment, food (eg Tea/coffee/food)"
