| "fantastic property if you want to chill out!
This was our honeymoon and we were looking for somewhere romantic and quiet but not too far from civilisation.
Perfect, 40 mins from the airport, 10 minutes from the centre of the Algarves entertainment capital(!) but far enough away from it all to count the stars and hear the cicadas.
The villa itself was very well equipped, a great kitchen with all mod cons a bookcase with books, cards and games and sky for a rare rainy day!
The pool was beautiful and that and the gardens are fantastically maintained.
Would recommend to anyone, a real 5 star holiday!"

| "We stayed at the villa from 17/09/09 - 22/09/09, and I must say what a pleasure it was. The Villa was idea for our needs and everything that was needed was there. The pool is excellant and well looked after by "crocodile dundee" the pool man.
We had a minibus to enable us to get about and everything was within a 30 min drive, from Slide & splash the water adventure park, to the Algarve shopping centre, Zoo Marine & the supermarket.
Ann, the rep visited us to ensure we were happy and her knowledge of the area was put to good use and many questions were asked and she answered all with ease.
We will be booking again soon without a doubt.

We had a brill time at Casa Dos Bons - there were 4 adults & 4 children all under age of 3. We all loved the great sized pool & relaxing at the poolside on the loungers. BBQ was great, had one almost every night along with a few Sagres (70 cents) in local shop. Villa is huge & lovely inside & out. Taxi to the strip was roughly 35 euros return - that was a mini van as there was 8 of us. Transfer from airport was £106 Euros return. A car would be good for supermarket runs but not essential. The owner Karen, Ann the rep, Crocadile Dundee (poolman), & gardner were all very nice & helpful. We would recommend this villa & would love to return someday."

| "Lovely villa which was well maintained. Gardener very friendly and helpful when he was there one day. Pool and garden excellent. Safe area for young children. All equipment required available in the house.
Two issues:
In the villa next door, the dogs were constantly barking, so despite being in a lovely quiet area, the barking was constant and annoying.
We were to be met by an agent within 24 hours of arrival but nobody contacted us during the 7 days we were there. Very disappointing as it was our first time in Portugal."

| "fantastic villa perfect set up great rooms bathrooms etc
everything you need kitchen and dining wise, and the pool great enjoyed by all, sky tv for the kids in the evening, which gives the adults time for a cool drink and some time alone, a car is a must for shopping, but get loads and stock up, we had a great time at the marina great bars etc
booked a trip to go and see dolphins, saw between 12 and 15 what a sight trip lasts about 2 hours worht every penny, we will return alone and also take friends with us, hope you enjoy it as much as us

| "We booked this villa for 3 weeks in July 2008 for a large group of us ages varying from 1 year to 70 years old. Its fantastic if your wanting a quiet chill out holiday, which is exactly what we wanted. Car hire is recommended even just to go to the supermarket. We used the supermarket about 10 mins away in a car and also travelled into albufeira which is about 20 mins away. The villa itself is lovely, really well presented and clean. It was nice to have all equipment that you would get at home (washer,diswasher etc.) The pool is fab, big and deep for a good swim. It even has a garden, which again our children enjoyed playing on. The weather was fantastic, no bad days in 3 weeks! All staff are really pleasant especially the cleaner and pool man.
We have been to portuagal the last 5 years to various places, hotels, apartments etc and this year with us having small children we wanted some space they could play and not annoy others..this villa is perfect. We visioned we would take it in turn going out on an evening into albufeira, but after a long day in the sun, kids in bed we all just sat around the pool drinking the 30p bottle os sagres from the supermarket :-)
We will definatley be returning, we had such a great time."

| "As many reviewers before me have said, this villa is lovely. It is easily spacious enough for two families to share and was very clean and well maintained throughout. The pool is super with plenty of surrounding areas for sunbathers to take advantage of the glorious sunshine.
The villa itself is located in a quiet area, perfect for 4 adults who were looking foward to relaxing and generally chilling out. However, it is also only a 15 minute car ride to Albufeira and a wide selec tion of restaurants and bars to provide entertainment for the teenagers of the group.
Aqualand is again only 15 minutes away and was a great day out for adults and teenagers alike.
I would not hesitate in reccommending this villa to friends and family looking for a super holiday destination."

| "We booked the Villa from the 9th - 15th June 2008 and had an absolutely fantastic time.
There was 10 of us in total including 2 children in put up beds and we feared it may be a bit overcrowded but with great size bedrooms and 3 good sized bathrooms this was not an issue at all.
The Villa is as described, immaculate throughout with all mod cons, Sky TV, Dishwasher, a seperate drinks fridge and a DVD player all fantastic additions.
The owner provided us with all local information before our trip, with details of the local supermarket, the area in general and the best local golf courses.
Car Hire is a must and is very reasonable, it is easy to get about when you have got your bearings and the singletons amongst us could get a taxi to and from Albufeira for just 10euros.
The Villa itself is about a ten minute drive to Albufeira and just 5 mins from the supermarket where you can stock up on everything required.
The Pool area is fantastic and is not overlooked and in very peaceful surroundings.
All in All this was a fantastic holiday for all of us whether lounging by the pool or taking the short drive to all the local attractions such as the Zoo Marine, Aqualand and of course the golf courses.
I would not hesitate to recommend this villa to anyone whatever you require from a holiday but car hire is essential to make the most of your stay.
For information our group ages were: 38,37,35,32,30,29,26,25 & 2 x 9 year olds who loved the pool.
Well definately be going back soon!

| "We book the villa for 9th feb - 16th feb '08. We arranged for a minibus to pick us up from Faro airport to take us to Casa Dos Bons. The driver went pass the villa a few times until i remembered the picture of it from the web site.When we arrived we were very impressed. It was exactly as it was described on the web site. So clean and spacious. We arrived about 6.30pm and were hungry. We found some useful leaflets telling us about restaurants and take aways and an english speaking taxi service who were very pleasant and helpful. There were portable heaters in the bedrooms which we did need on but only at night. There is a dishwasher but we found out that just before the cycle finished it would trip the electric. We did tell Ann who said she would mention it to the owners. Also be careful when you are lighting the big gas ring as it tends to fire up quite big when lit. There was a log burner but unfortunatly no logs. There was a place that sold logs further up the road but unfortunatly could not speak any english so we could not buy any. Ann was a great help and only a phone call away. The pool man came who was very pleasant and had a nice chat with him. There is a shop and cafe at the top of the road which is very good. We had a meal in the restaurant in the village which the food is lovely but you get 7 starters, main meal and then 7 puddings. We found this hilarious and thoroughly enjoyed the evening, the people were so friendly and the meals was 15 euros each, amazing value!! The pool was lovely. The children managed a couple of days in there. There is not much around you have to travel. We hired a minibus which was great and we travelled quite a distance site seeing. The maid came once in the week to give us fresh towels. I would highly reccomended this villa. The bookings were no trouble at all. If you had any queries they were answered very quickly. We will be booking to go again. There was 7 of us, 5 adults and 2 teenagers who were not bored there at all. If you like to stay in a quite location then you will enjoy Casa Dos Bons. It is nice to visit somewhere that is busy but then come back to the villa and relax either in the villa or by the pool."

| "What a fab place to chill out in, exactly what we wanted. Thanks to Karen (owner) for great communication before our holiday and to Ann (local agent) for taking us shopping on our first day at the villa. The dogs next door were no problem, only alerting us if someone was passing in the street - as the villa is in such a quiet and peaceful location, this was not very often. Andy who looked after the pool was very friendly - a pleasure to meet him! We opted not to hire a car but to use taxis, unbelievably cheap! To sum it all up, Accomodation and pool A++ - absolutely brilliant! Regards, Franca, Martin and Jules"

| "THE VILLA HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED. THE POOL, BARBEQUE, GARDEN, AND PATIO FURNITURE IN USE EVERYDAY, WE FOUND IT HARD TO LEAVE EACH DAY TO EXPLORE.
BEING DISABLED, I FOUND THE POOL EASY TO ENTER, ALTHOUGH IT TOOK A WHILE TO GET USED TO THE COOLNESS OF THE WATER, BUT GREAT FUN WHEN IN.
ANN WAS ONLY A PHONE CALL AWAY, AND VERY INFORMATIVE, ANDY, THE POOL MAN CHECKED THE POOL TWICE DURING OUR STAY.
THE OWNERS OF THE VILLA HAVE BEEN VERY HELPFUL WITH MY QUERIES, AND WOULD RECOMMENDED THE VILLA TO ANYONE WISHING TO VISIT THIS AREA.
THE ONLY VERY SLIGHT CRITICISM I WOULD HAVE, IS THAT THE KITCHEN LIGHTING WAS NOT VERY BRIGHT, AND AS STATED BEFORE, WE DID EXPERIENCE DOGS BARKING.
I WOULD LIKE TO RETURN NEXT YEAR, SO CHECKING THE DATES ALREADY

| "We had a wonderful time in a beautiful villa. Rooms were spacious, light and comfortable and bathrooms were spotless. The only downside was in one room the bed sheets were not made up properly. Kitchen facilities were excellent and appliances were well-maintained.
The garden and pool were beautiful and very private. Although the weather was quite warm, the pool was a bit cold for all the family to use - therefore a heated pool would have been better.
Many thanks to the owners for a wonderful stay - we would love to come back and stay here again.

| "Excellent Villa in a nice quiet location. Well placed for all local attractions whether sightseeing or Water Parks.
Only concern was our first week when exceptionally hot weather saw an overnight temperature of 32 degrees and fans were not efficient enough. Doubt that air conditioning would have helped anyway! By week 2 with temps around 24-25 degrees at night, more comfortable.
Local Agent very helpful and friendly as was the Pool Man.
Overall, cannot recommend this Villa highly enough. The Owners really can be justifiably proud of it and would recommend it to everyone."

The beaches and old town are 15min drive away so a car is essential. The remote location may not be to everyone’s taste but we loved it – only gripe, kept awake some nights by nearby dogs barking but would still recommend this property for a great family holiday and there is nothing like jumping into that wonderful pool to cool off!!"

| "Visit 29th April til 13th May, 3 adults, a 14 year old and 20 month old baby. Villa layout was excellent, pool fantatsic and very well presented and kitted out. Location is a bit off the beaten track and the arrival instructions are incorrect it should be turn left at the sign for Cerro do Roque and not Cerro do Oura. A car is an absolute necessity but the local agent sorted out a very good deal for us and with a car everything is within a 10-15 minute drive. Two of the bedrooms had a musty smell to them as i think this was down to the fact that these rooms were not used as much as the others. A couple of minor issues realting to the toilet flushing and gas supply but these were very promplty attended to by the local agent (Ann Stubbings) and did not impact at all on the stay. One critiscism is the showers the water is very tempremental hot, cold, scalding, freezing, tepid warm all within two minutes this really does need to be resolved. All in an an excellent stay beautiful place, lovely villa, ideal location, freindly neighbours, lovely people. Would highly recomend a stay at this villa, it has certainly given us the taste for Villa holdiday life. | "MYSELF, MY WIFE AND THE MOTHER IN LAW STAYED IN THIS WONDERFUL VILLA .FROM 31/12/05 TILL 11/01/06 WE WERE BLESSED WITH GREAT WEATHER ,BUT IT DID GO VERY COLD AT NIGHT ALTHOUGH WE DID MANAGE TO GET A BIG ROARING WOOD FIRE GOING THE VILLA IS SO BIG WHEN YOU MOVED FROM ROOM TO ROOM YOU CAN REALLY FEEL THE COLD SO I WOULD RECOMEND WARM CLOTHES MY MOTHER IN LAW WRAPPED HERSELF IN BLANKETS TO KEEP WARM [,THE OWNER HAS OIL HEATERS IN THE BEDROOMS ]
THE ELECTRICS DID KEEP TRIPPING OUT AND THE SHOWERS STILL RUN HOT AND COLD BUT IT DID NOT TAKE ANYTHING AWAY FROM THE HOLIDAY, YOU MUST REMEMBER YOU ARE IN A TINY VILLAGE AND NOT A BIG TOWN

| "beautiful location, would suggest a tumbledryer for winter visitors and maybe 2 pillows each, but these are very minor criticisms, we had a wonderful relaxing holiday and ann couldn,t have been more helpful. We look forward to returning later this year we would be interested in info on any of your villas nearer villamoura or albuferia, somewhere we could walk to the center shops restaurants etc, thankyou for your efficient handling of our booking, we would have no hesitation in recommending you ."

A bit chilly in the winter months, and some minor upkeep was needed, but the property manager was very friendly and informed us the updates were being made within a few weeks. Slight mold problem in one bathroom. Comfortable living space, and beautiful outdoor patio/pool area."

"really nice villa in a quiet location, although close to all amenities in the albufiera area.
only minor gripe is the lack of water pressure in the area which meant that the showers normally ran cold but this is beyond the owners control.
pool and surroundings superb.
overall 9.9/10"

No major problems were expereinced and we found it to be the perfect base to explore the sights of the Algarve. Car hire is essential but this enables you to see and do lots of things. "A few unavoidable problems as it was new but some could have been done before renting out as cold water to wash in was due to poor boiler fitted and electrics needed to be upgraded as kept blowing trip when more than one appliance on so could not cook, also shower curtains in all ensuits would have been nice.
Excellent management team over there could not fault them. Lovely villa.
Comment from owner: The hot water and boiler problem was fixed during the customer's visit and there were no further problems reported. The problem with the electricity supply has been fixed since the customer's departure and no further problems are anticipated."
