| "This is the third consecutive year I have visited your villa with my golf friends. The ideal position of your villa for both golf clubs and airports makes it an easy choice. At the end of my 4 day golf break this year my wife joined me for a week and saw for herself what a delightful place you have.
I have been so impressed with the standard of accommodation that it is an easy choice to return each year.

"My wife and I stayed here from the 14 to 21 June 2008 (1 week). We enjoyed our holiday but unfortunately when we arrived we were advised that there was no record of our booking. While this was found to be incorrect and the problem was sorted out that night - its not a nice thing to be confronted with after getting off a plane and travelling to the property by hire car when you dont know the area. By the time we got into the property it was late and we had little energy left over to unpack. So in effect, the screw up with the booking cost us a little of our holiday time the next day.
The property itself is lovely inside and is spacious and well equipped. The pool is superb and outside spaces are lovely for chilling out - the roof-top terrace is especially stunning at night when the sun goes down over the mountains. However, it is situated in a still-being built estate which distracted from the super views and chilled-out atmosphere. A digger turned up opposite the property one lunchtime and started its business just as we sat down with some food outside. The dust made us move in which was disappointing. With barred windows and (visually) no smoke-alarms being present I would worry about family safety a little - I know its not Britain but a big house surely deserves a couple of smoke-alarms? The air conditioning in the living-room is superb but the master bedroom unit is somewhat rickety and makes much more noise (and blows out less cold air too). Finally, if your a keen cook make sure you pack some sharp knives with you......
Its location is central for exploring Murcia (recommended), Alicante and the Costa Blanca sea towns. Bigastro itself has little appeal but the nearby Orihuela is an lovely place to visit if you like the old town.
I would just like to express my deep thanks to Eileen and Russell who were the caretakers for the house (two houses along the road) - they made us feel welcome and helped resolve the issues we had with the property."

Regrettably there was a problem with this booking which was rectified quickly by the managers Eileen & Russel. A meal and compensation was paid and the delay to the couple was 2 hours.
The incident with the digger was understandably disappointing but was not dealing with building work and lasted a few hours. It was some maintenance work that was undertaken by the council and to which none of the residents/owners were given notice of.
We would like to thank Daniel for his other comments which we’ve taken on board.

| "We were absolutely delighted with this villa as it was so, so lovely: well maintained, equipped, decorated as well as being immaculatey clean. Obviously all aspects have been well thought through and put together by the owners for everyone's enjoyment. Beautiful pool area which was so peaceful (although I didn't go in the water as my son's face said it all even before he got the chance to tell me that the water was "icy cold").
Couldn't have faulted it at all. Loved the rooftop terrace which made the views even more spectacular which, by the way, our photos don't do justice - you really have to be there and see for yourself. We would definitely recommend for a quiet and relaxing holiday, although we feel transport is a must for getting around.
Would also like to mention that the agents who look after the property, Eileen & Russel, were fantastic and we would like to thank them for all their help and assistance as well as thank David & Heather for their very kind and thoughtful gift.
Thank you - hope we can return with some friends next time."

| "A very well furnished and equipped property and also immaculately clean. Our children loved the TV and DVDS and books/games. Only thing missing was a good sharp knife as we did a lot of cooking. Dishwasher, washing machine and air conditioning were much appreciated. The pool was lovely and quiet even though it was used by the local English residents who were very friendly. We didn't appreciate that you needed to take a short stroll round the block to get into the pool with a key. As with all communal pools in Spain apparently, we found we couldn't leave our 9 year old with her 14 and 15 year old siblings without us being with them, even though they are all competent swimmers. The managing agents, Eileen and Russell were very helpful. The villa was surprisingly very secure in terms of amount of locks and keys required. It was too hot for us really but that was our fault for going in August! We found a couple of beaches that were very nice. As a location, in comparison to other holidays, we prefer more greenery and historical buildings but then again that was our fault as we should have known what to expect! We were unlucky with our choice of restaurants so preferred to eat at the villa and ate very well from the produce bought at the supermarket."

Very well equipt villa , clean spacious quiet location ..
The roof terace veiws have to been seen to be admired.
this villa makes an ideal break if you are looking for a relaxed holiday with all the facilities the villa has to offer you dont have to travel far as everything is close by, shops /bars/.
Very good value for money would definatly return, even if it was just a holiday break without the golf.

| "The villa is exquisite and absolutely spotless. It is in a beautiful location only 15 minutes drive from many resorts. There are local markets to visit and bigastro is only 15 minutes walk if you don't like driving.
The poeple who live locally are very friendly and make you feel very welcome. I would definitely go back!

| "Just returned from an incredibly pleasant week at Vista Montana. Accommodation superb, all mod cons and plenty of space for the two of us. We will definitely be returning (with friends next time!).
Location wise, you will definitely need a car in order to get around as Bigastro itself is fairly small with few eating places, but a pretty good supermarket.
There was still some building work going on around the complex of villas during our stay, but this in no way spoiled the holiday."

| "March 2006 - Have just returned from a short break at this beautiful villa. It is very well maintained and extremely comfortable. All of the rooms are well equipped with modern applicances - TV, Video, DVD, Microwave, Fridge Freezer - I was very impressed
There are terrific views of the mountains and surrounding countryside from the rooftop terrace.

We hired a car and visited all over, including Benidorm and it's theme park. It is certainly a must, there is even an english supermarket just a 30 minute drive away - ideal for those parky eaters! | "We have just returned from our holiday in this luxurious villa and we must say we loved every minute. The villa is furnished to a very high standard and is set in a peaceful and beautiful location with spectacular views.
There are lots of restaurants, bars and shops only a few minutes drive away as well as a local market. If you want to explore then we would recommend a car. We preferred to spend our days relaxing on the beautiful private sun terrace or swimming in the pool.
The villa itself is very secure and the neighbours are very friendly and helpful. We would highly recommend a visit to Villa Vista Montanta and we certainly will be back!

| "For any one wanting a truely relaxing time, this is the place to be. If you want to explore then I would recommend hiring a car from the airport. Views from the roof terrace are stunning overlooking the pool, other luxurious villas and the mountain ranges in the distance. The security features of the complex would make this an ideal place to bring your children.
We visited many excellent restaurants and there was variety to suit everyone.
I will certainly be back.

| "This is a beautifully well-appointed villa in peaceful surroundings with lovely views. The owners have truly done themselves proud with this holiday home. There is everything you could ever possibly need to ensure your holiday goes smoothly in the way of facilities and everything is of the highest standard.
There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the local and surrounding towns to keep everyone happy and the local supermarket is very good. Some information is provided at the Villa to assist you, which is a nice touch by the thoughtful owners.
A car is a must to enjoy the local surroundings and a grasp of some Spanish is useful, just be brave and give it a go, you will be surprised how well you will be received by the locals.
In all a great weekend break for me and I will be trying to visit again soon for longer. I would highly recommend Vista Montana to anyone on all counts."

| "The villa was furnished to a high standard, clean and with ample storage space. The roof terrace provided spectacular views and was secluded to allow sunbathing without being overlooked.
The area was nice and quiet and relaxing but with restaurants and pubs not too far.
There were even directions to restaurants and the nearest towns.
Definately worth a visit.

| "Whilst a new Estate, there is a warm and friendly atmosphere amongst the community on site. We met and socialised with a number of the other Villa owners. The Villa was spacious and with three bedrooms would easily accomodate a large Family, although we were a party of four. It is furnished to a high standard, with a lot of extra's. Local Restaurants are excellent and within a 15 to 30 minute drive. Although we went in February every where was open and we even managed a round of Golf on a local course. We would have no hesitation recommending this to a friend. Thanks to Jimmy and Chris the owners for looking after us so well."
