"I have been many places around the world and this is quite possibly the most peaceful and tranquil experience. I have ever had the pleasure to enjoy. The House boat, the crew, the backdro p – simply amazing memory for life.

As a keen photographer I have come to realize that you can’t do this place justice with a picture, it’s simply one of the most beautiful places I have ever been to and you need to sit back and breathe in its magnificence!

"We had an excellent 8 days in the backwaters of Kerala. The Crew Rajesh, Steven and Babu did everything in their power to make this a memorable trip. Slowly cruising to see the rural life of Kerala pass by, visits to villages, churches and temples and not to forget the excellent cooking (and cooking lessons) from Babu. Taking 8 days gave us the chance to see places not frequently visited by houseboats. Everywhere we went we got a very friendly to ever enthusiastic response. Kids waving enthusiastically whenever they see you come by (they do seem to have an insatiable appetite for pens).
All in all a trip to never forget!

| "The crew of the BrightWaters houseboat are what made the difference for our holiday. They were absolutely wonderful and looked after us very well. The chef, Babu, is exceptional and had new Keralan dishes for us to try at every meal. The itinerary put together for our 5 days was fantastic. We had the right mix of leisure and culture. The boat itself is very comfortable and for those who like their creature comforts, the sleeping cabins are airconditioned. Bathrooms are also fine, although the showers are basic - but then its a boat on a lake, so you shouldnt expect high water pressure etc. Overall I would highly recommend this property. Great accommodation, attentive crew and one of the worlds most beautiful locations."
