| "the apartment is nicely appointed and right next to the pool. the local staff were very helpful and provided cot and highchair for our son. Barely 30 seconds walk to Atlantic beaches and only five minutes walk from Caribbean beaches and selec tion of bars. There are a number of restaurants within a few minutes walk. There are plenty of Taxis available just next door to the complex or hire a car! Plenty of quiet and unspolit beaches. South Friars Beach excellent for snorkelling. We had Majors Bay and Cockleshell beach to ourselves a number of times. The Scenic railway a bit overpriced. Recommend SpratNet on the other side of Basseterre for dinner."
