| "just as advertised, a unique setting. Amazing variety of fruit being grown, property very private and tranquil (all yours after 6pm when visitors to the bar/restaurant have left)! Well presented accommodation right on the sea line with unimpeded views. A little basic regarding cooking utensils but adequate. Owners couldnt be more helpful and friendly. Only reservation is regarding access as the 150 steps to the lift and similar number from base of lift to ground level can be taxing!! Plus lift requires a head for heights!! but both well worth the effort!"

"Fajã dos Padres is a fantastic place - quiet, peaceful, beautiful and confortable. The proprietors are friendly and the restaurant staff helpfful and excellent cooks. We highly recommend the place and hope to come back one day.
