| "The apartment is well equipped & maintained to a very high standard. The air-con & ceiling fans keep the rooms comfortable even during a very hot July & August. From the rear facing bedrooms & kitchen you look out over the hills to the sea at Vera Playa. From the front you have a view of the pool, the golf greens & Mojacar in the distance. When we were there in the height of the season the pool was well used but not crowded. You can swim early until late, by moon light if you are lucky & it is warm & quiet. Generally the resort is peaceful & relaxed. The apartment is on the second floor and so may not be suitable for those who have problems with stairs, but the view from the apartment, the balcony & the roof terrace above, are great.
The resort is large but never seemed busy. I don’t golf but the greens look wonderful, especially as this part of Spain is classed as Europe’s only dessert. The combination of green fairways & cactus plants reminded me of some very smart resorts in Nevada. The Crocodile Club proved to be a good, relaxed bar and restaurant, with a good range of food, not just a kiddie burger bar. There is also a nice pool, but the one by the apartment is so good we didn’t need to try this alternative.
You will almost certainly want a car unless you spend the whole time in the resort playing golf, swimming & eating in the restaurant. This would be a pity as the beach at Vera is long & sandy. There is a lot to do between here & Mojacar & many good places to eat. Further away you can find deserted beaches, salt flats with wild flamingos, old castles, lively cities, zoos & the scene of many spaghetti westerns. More than enough for another visit, which I would recommend.

Stunning apartment beautifully furnished and equipped to the highest standard, not a golfer but enjoyed the incredible views from the roof terrace. Beautiful gardens and golf course. Excellent food eaten at the Crocodile Club and Golf Club, mini market on site which sells a variety of things including, and fresh bread to order. Good shopping in Garrucha and Vera.
i was in a party of four ladies, and security was paramount which this apartment ensures. We cannot wait to go again this summer, although our preferred date is already booked."

| "This property was like a home from home . The owner had informed us that she was staying there till the day before we left and would leave Milk which was great as we got in late and was able to make Tea after the journey down from Murcia.
Everything in the Apartment was perfect , clean , bright and modern with all mon cons and finished to a very high specification. TV ( with English Terrestial Stations) Playstation and Games and even a football for my soccer mad son. As I said a home from home.
Located on the top (3rd) floor , it is not overlooked , has brillant views and even better from the roof terrace . It overlooks a small courtyard with a lovely pool.
Desert Springs as a location was a Golfers paradise , greens like carpets and an excellent driving range and chipping and putting areas.
We were there for a wedding and had a short stay but the facilities was top class and we will definitely rent this apartment again"

| "Chose an apartment so as not to be shoehorned into a hotel room with two children. This one was modern, clean, very well furnished and had all the home comforts. The pool out front is ideal for the kids and there is a friendly British contingent that a give a nice community spirit. Being set at the top of the resort the views from both the apartment and the rooftop terrace are excellent. The description is very accurate and I wouldnt recommend this for elderly or impaired mobility, as you are on the second floor.
Although I dont play golf, the course looked stunning and it is obvious no expense has been spared in building the resort. A hire car is a must to make the most of the surrounding area. Mojacar, Garrucha and Villaricos are all worth a visit as is the water park for big and small kids! (I hired a Ford Focus for £150 for 10 days).
Excellent value for money and I hope to return in the near future."
