| "Whilst the apartment met our expectations, the form was very misleading. Upon arrival we had to pay for the welcome pack we asked for and also the cleaning which was altogether an extra 85 euros that we didnt expect. I was under the impression that this was paid for when filling the form online, so it was a bit of a shock.... The apartment could not be faulted in any way, although i found the rules of the pool a bit offputting, we were only allowed in after 10 am and up to 7.00 pm. The guy that met us was very helpful, friendy and gave us lots of advice on what & where to go. Only negative is that you really do need a car, it is too far to walk to the shops and beach everyday. Having said that, if you want a completely relaxing holiday then this is ideal."

| "The property was wery well manned, we immediately felt it was the perfect place for a nice and relaxing vacation. When I say relaxing I really mean it! The neighborhood is quite, the house confortable and equipped with all necessary stuff to let you feel at home. The owners are really correct and friendly people, whom made us feeling the landlords. So correct that they asked us for suggestions in order to improve the quality of the property. We suggeted him to change the matresses and, even though the weather was perfect 90% of the 30 days of our stay, just to install a single AC unit which never hurts!! I really trust the improvements have been made already!
It is nearby a commercial center that meets all basic needs an some fine dining out choices. The nearby beach (about 1 Km - a shuttle service, stopping in the proximities of the property, is provided by the municipality) is quite wilde but well organized. In few minutes its possible to reach very interesting places such as: Alicante, Santa pola, Guardamar del Segura (which offers a lots of cultural-social activities perfect for families) and many other places.
I really wish to be able to be there next year!!!

| "For value for money the villa was good, we wanted a cheap family holiday and to have our own pool was a bonus. The villa was located 10 minutes from the airport and finding it was very easy, although I would note the Grand Alacant sign is right on the turn off so you need to act quickly when you see this. A car is required as the supermarkets and restaurants in the mall are only a 5 minute drive but a bit of trek in the heat to walk it.
The outside space of the villa was great, lots of space, sun loungers, a large table and chairs that easily seated 6 with an umbrella and the whole pool to ourselves.
Sadly the interior let the side down, if a bit more money had been spent on it I would have been willing to pay a bit extra. The beds were like sleeping on camp beds very uncomfortable, (especially the double), and the bedrooms were not furnished, no chest of drawers or mirror in the master bedroom. Headboards were not fixed to the beds so banged against the wall everytime you moved. No electric fans or air con, so the bedrooms were hot and stuffy and no dishwasher in kitchen.
That said the villa was very clean and kitchen was well stocked with crockery and a good fridge freezer and TV with sky. It was basic, but as we spent 90% of our time outside it wasnt a massive problem. Though I would ask the owner to change the out door lights timer they currently turn off every 10 minutes which is a bit of a pain as you have to run around to the sensor each time, fine if you have kids to do it for you! Perhaps the timer could be reset to an hour.
Finally I have to commend Peter who is the guy who lives next door and oversees the rental of this property, he was very friendly and efficient. One of the patio doors dro pped and needed tightening, he was around within 10 minutes and had it fixed. He spent time printing out places of interest and drawing on maps for us to give us ideas where to go for days out and restaurants to eat in. Really helpful and great to have next door.
Overall, we had a lovely time and the villa was very good value for money, with a bit more spent on furnishing it I reckon it could be a real little find for any families wanting a reasonably priced summer holiday with their own pool."
