| "We had a brilliant time and were so happy we will be booking same place for next year.Apartment was in perfect place, we got up in the morning crossed the road and had a swim in the perfect clear sea and went to bakers next door for breakfast. Zita the home owner was a mine of information and supplied us with fresh fruit from her trees and we had home made strudel, vegetable casserole and pastries-she was a lovely lady.We had an excellant meal at Nicos just 50m down rd and an excellant meal at the Taverna 50m up the road.There was a good little pub on a back St behind the house.The neighbours were very friendly. The bus stop is right accross rd and a bus arrives every half hour for town.Not noisy in the slightest. Not touristy yet ! and we had a lovely chill out holiday."

| "We have just returned from a wonderful week in Diklo with Zita and her husband. We were made to feel so welcome and spent a lovely relaxing time there. Their home grown tomatoes are delicious and you may be offered some of Zitas local cooking. The position opposite the sea and also the bus stop for Zadar is excellent. Nearby is a well stocked shop, a bakers, a fruit stall, a taverna and sometimes even a fresh fish stall. We loved our Croatian holiday and hope to return very soon. Thanks so much."

The hosts are a really wonderful active elderly couple, and there is a cute dog called "Dodgi" outback. Ask the host to try out his red wine and to share the secrets of wine making! Ask his daughter Adrianna, who lives up the road, to get you a bottle of homemade white wine from her friend Ante. Walk through the village and talk to the villagers. They will surprise you if you are friendly and inquisitive.
