| "I stayed here for a week, really enjoyed it. The pool area is great and the apartment is very comfortable. The apartment is a 10 mins walk (uphill) from the beach and main resort so you do have to be relatively fit. This was excellent value for money and would thoroughly recommend it to others :)"

"The property was good but the location is very hard going
on arrival to the property we thought the location was great until we walked twice a day to the beach area ok on the way down but you definatly need to be fit to go back twice a day for 2 weeks
the only complaint that we had was that the floor was very dirty on arrival and we did not get a linen change while we were there"
Owner reply:
:
Thank you for your comments, we always appreciate feedback, good or bad. I have approached the cleaners who have confirmed that the linen was changed after 7 days, so we are very surprised to hear the comment that the linen wasnt changed. With regards to the floor, the apartments are cleaned usually the day before arrival which includes a full clean from top to bottom, so again I am surprised by the comment that the floor was very dirty. Thank you for your review.

"it was not up to par at all,no good for older people,to hilly.and no service at all at the apartment.would not go again."
Owner reply:
:
We have just read your review and are quite surprised by your negative comments
Please understand that we have absolutely no right to decide whether or not a guest is 'too old' for the area, and in fairness, every year we have a couple who rent this apartment out for 3 months, and both are in their late seventies. So I don't think its fair to slam the apartment location on that respect.
Secondly, this is self catering accommodation, as specifically advertised, 'weekly' linen change. Personally, when I go on holiday, yes I do like a daily linen change, therefore I pay premium hotel rates.
Finally, if you did have any issues, then why on earth did you not contact us instead of waiting until your return to the UK to publicly write about it ? You had our contact telephone numbers and any issues could have been resolved during your stay.

| "Lovely apartment, great value for money. Exactly as described.
Complex was lovely, good size pool. You had to pay 2 euros each for your loungers, but I didn't mind too much as you then didn't feel obliged to buy food and drinks from the bar.
The apartment was a little way out of town, but again I didn't mind the walk. You built up an appetite on the way there and worked it off on the way back.
All in all great value for money for a welcome week of winter sun!!"

| "Excellent Value for money, the only slight problem was that reception were not notified about our reservation on arrival (or so they told us) but it was sorted out within an hour.
The apartment was spacious and airy. I would definatly recommend it to a friend.
Special Thanks to Vanessa for the wine!!

| "A clean. well maintained studio. The Castle Harbour complex had a fabulous pool and a great bar/restaurant. The property is at the top of a hill but we never found it a problem and on the one day we got a taxi back it only cost 3 euros. In our opinion it was in ideal location and we enjoyed the ten minute walk down to the beach front and shops. There is a large supermarket very close to the complex which had everything you would require for you holiday."

| "My boyfriend and I stayed here for a week in middle of April 2006. The apartment had everything we needed, and large balcony area was great for having breakfast, and it also got sun for most of the day until the late afternoon.
We were surprised (but very happy) to recieve a complimentary bottle of wine and some chocolates on arrival (the best chocolates either of us had had for years!)
The complex itself was quiet, with a good sized pool and would be suitable for couples or families. There is a pool bar there as well for snacks and drinks if you need them, and there are supermarkets and restaurants near the complex too, although the centre of Loc Christianos is only a 10 minute walk from the complex.
The reception staff in the complex were also very helpful.
Overall very happy with the apartment and our stay there and would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone.

| "the apartment was simple but clean and well supplied. the pool complex was nice and relaxing with a family atmosphere. the balcony was excellent with nice views and got the sun until the mid afternoon but you would probably want to spend your time by the pool.
the staff were very helpful and the sports bar was handy for snacks and drinks.
a 5-10 minute walk and you have all the shops, restaurants and bars you could want. los cristianos itself is nice and quieter than nearby las americas.
also an excellent base to explore the island from. the castle harbour staff will help you book taxis, car rental and excursions.
very good value for money"

"A well maintained clean and tidy appartment, and good value for money. If a base is what you want, this is ideal. The complex is simple, but has lots of amenities close by. I read other reviews of the steep hill, but cannot see the problem if you are able bodied!! The only gripe I have, is that the room was not serviced at all during our weeks stay, towels could have been replaced."
Owner reply:
:
As this is "Self Catering" accommodation, a weekly, not daily, change is given for bed linen, towels, etc.
