| "We heard of this place from a sustainable tourism magazine. We liked the idea of our holiday money is given to the local Thai people and not the hotel chains. Also we discover the owners have two sets of twins so it was good as they helped look after our children as we relaxed at the pool!
My wife now makes some good Thai food that she is learing from the owners who were very jkind indeed to us all.
Yes, we will go back when we have the chance and wish all the best of luck to all those people involved in this project!"

"Just wanted to say many thanks to Ten & Euang for looking after us during our stay. They were very friendly, efficient and helpful and always smiling, and we esepcially enjoyed the cooking lessons: it was a first for us to dig up our own galangal and pick our chillies and lemongrass before making the Tom Yam Kung!
We shall recommend Gecko Villa to friends and do look forward to returning soon.

| "We wanted to get away from the main torist traps and admittedly when we arrived at Gecko Villa we could not have got further from the madding crowds. The charm and peace of the location were marvellous, but the real stars of our trip were Ten and his wife who looked after us superbly. Just the place for couples or families - not recommended for single travellers unless you are prepared to immerse yourself in an area where very little English is spoken.
Great food. Bring suntan cream.

| "Truly a one of a kind experience, partially because of the property that is unique, and in part because of the charming hosts who took excellent care of us.
Great food, good weather, a suprb pool and good friends: we shall return.For info, the Visitors book only had positive comments."
