"The description of the property is inacurate. It was described as being a brand new development with stunning sea and mountain views. the property was neither new nor did it have a sea view. The apartment may be suitable for a couple with young children however the bedrooms are inadequately furnished for older children or more than two adults."

I am afraid that our tenant misread the apartment information. This clearly states the complex has stunning sea and mountain views.....The apartment has mountain views. These are accurate statements.
The 2nd bedroom is small but does have 2 single beds and some limited storage space.
The apartment complex is now approx 5 years old and we have amended the website description to reflect this as on balance it was in need of updating. However the complex is very well maintained and there is no significant deterioration in the quality of the accomodation as a result of the passing 5 years. The apartment itself has been regularly rennovated with new beds and sofas in the past 18 months.
We are disappointed that on this occassion our guest wasnt fully satisfied but the majority of our guests have expressed positive comments either online or privately as a result of their stays.

We regret that this guest was not satisfied with the accomodation provided. However what the reviewer fails to note is that upon notification of the problems he had found (which were largely the result of the previous booking which ended less than 24 hours previously) action was taken by us to correct the significant issues. This included getting an air conditioning engineer on site to fix the intermitent problem with the operation of this system within a short period and certainly whilst this guest was in occupation.
We have had a very busy season of lettings this summer and this is the first negative comment we have received. Whilst we regret any lack of satisfaction experienced by this guest this was in part caused by the previous letting and the short period between the 2 lettings. It is an uncommon occurence but nonetheless one that in part was unavoidable given the circumstances.
The problems were assessed as soon as they were notified and those which proved to be of substance were corrected within days of the first notification.

We enjoyed our stay. The apartment was very well equipped for all our needs. The scenery from the balcony was magnificent. The swimming pool and surrounding area was very well maintained.

| "As a family of 4 we needed to have a well-equipped and spacious apartment and this apartment exceeded our expectations - I have to say that the photographs do not do it justice! The location is fine without a car but I would agree with a previous reviewer that it can be a bit far for little legs (3 year old) to walk in order to get into the centre of Fuengirola. This is easily overcome by frequent stops to have a cool drink! We made good use of the pool at the apartment complex, which was quiet and very clean. The beaches that we went to were over the bridge, over the river, again they were very clean and about 10 minutes away.
The location is very good as you are at the quieter end of the resort, but within easy reach of any other activity you could choose.
We took the bus from outside the Miramar complex (10 minutes walk, with children) into the centre - 5 minutes. Taxis back to the apartment were about 7 euros (in the evening). Would thoroughly recommend the zoo and the park next to the Town hall for children. We ate out every day and had a good range of options to choose from. The seafood on offer from the beachside restaurants near the apartment was fabulous. The streets just behind the main drag have lots of lovely tapas bars and Spanish cuisine on offer.
The Miramar complex has every shop you could need and is very accessible.
All in all the apartment and the resort were very good and we will definitely consider returning."

| "My friends and I really enjoyed our week at this apartment. The apartment was well equiped and provided enough space for four adults comfortably. The air conditioning came in particularly useful in the hot weather! The complex itself can be quite confusing as there are many different floors and different lifts that can take you there, so i recommend looking at the plans on the walls to orientate yourselves!
The apartment itself is situated just on the edge of the town but within easy walking distance of restaurants and bars within Fuengirola. The beach is just accross the road, but we did find a nicer part of the beach just 5-10 min walk away. The local shopping complex the Miramar, 2 min drive away, had everthing we could ask for, including a large supermarket if you wanted to eat in some nights. On the whole a lovely apartment and area."

| "The apartment was lovely although the apartment building does consist of several sections with certain lifts only leading to certain sections so don't do as we did and just think you know where you are going, check the maps located on each floor!
There is a lovely view of the mountains and the balcony can get very warm in the evenings, so nice to catch the evening sun if you have had enough of the beach. There is a beach directly across the footbridge over the main road though there are nicer beaches 5-10 mins walk away which are also closer to the restaurants and seafront souvenir shops. If you intend to eat in then I definitely recommend the Eroski shopping centre for value, located approx 15 mins away in the big Miramar Shopping Centre which you can see from the balcony. There are also smaller Eroski outlets scattered through the town. Please be aware if you wish to purchase cigarettes and alcohol, you can now only purchase tobacco from a tobacconist rather than any shop along the front and alcohol can only be purchased before 10pm in the shops. This is due to a change in Spanish Law in January. You can of course still purchase cigarettes from machines in bars, as well as alcohol.
If you have very young children and intend to do a lot of venturing into town I would recommend investing in a pushchair, though you shouldn't need to walk more than 10-15 minutes to find the first lot of shops etc on the promenade. All in all a really nice apartment and holiday."

"The apt itself is really lovely and is very well maintained and kitted out. However, as we had 2 small children the location did not suit us as it was approx 30 min walk to the main town and quite a distance the nearest shop. It was also very difficult to get a taxi close by."

Unfortunately this renter was unable to locate the large Miramar shopping complex which is literally a 10 min walk from the apartment. This is a new complex (so the signage may not have been completed at the time of this renters booking) which contains a large Euroski food supermarket plus numerous other (mainly) clothes shops. The Miramar complex is a good size shopping mall of approximately 1/3 to 1/2 the size of large complexes in the UK such as Lakeside (Thurrock) shopping centre.
