| "We spent 2 weeks at La Frogerie in April with 3 teenagers. The home was cozy, well equiped and well located. The washing machine was a must for us, but beware it took us a while to figure out how to use all the appliances as they are different from north american ones. Remember also it is an old rural property, so you cannot use more than one larger appliance at a time, or the power breaker switch will trip (easy fix!).
As we did many day trips and spent most of our time away, the house was large enough to accomodate us all confortably. Unfortunately the weather was wet and damp, so could not enjoy the relaxing atmosphere of the rural property and the quiet, private lot. The house was a picture of what we expected a Breton farmhouse to be and the website description was very accurate. The neighbours were friendly & welcoming ( speaking French is definately an asset).
We were within easy day trips to Chateaubriant (great shopping), Loire Valley, Mont St Michel, St Malo and both north & south coasts. We had longer (but manageable) day trips to the D Day beaches and some of the further Loire Chateaux.
We were most impressed with the personal contact from the owners. It was a wonderful holiday. Thanks!"

"We have had a wonderful 2 weeks here and do not want to go home. Enjoyed the trips to Vitre, Chateaubriant, the market at La Guerche and Sanmur. We are glad that we bought our bikes as the surrounding area is perfect or cycling. The neighbours are very friendly and eggs from the neighbour are superb.
Most of all we hve found la frogerie to be a real haven of peace and tranquility, please do not tell anyone else about it. We hope we can come again."

| "gorgeous property with all mod cons, perfect for a family with young children as they have travel cot, highchair etc..
toatally secluded area with splendid views and wonderful countryside.
lovely village perfect for a quiet family holiday without the bustle of tourists and we didnt meet another english family at all!!
you need at least basic french to get by as many people in the area speak little or no english.
trip to le mont st michel is well worth the 1 1/2 journey and you must try the croque monsieur at the cafe at the bottom of the mont!!!"

| "This is a fabulous place for a relaxing, "get away from it all" holiday. The propety is set in beautiful countryside and equipped with everything that you need. Even when we had a cold, wet spell, we were able to make a roaring log fire.

"This is our second visit to La Frogerie. Weather mixed, on the whole warm, dry and some very hot days. Went to the piscine in Vitre, very clean and lovely waterslide and helpful staff. Very reasonably priced as well.
We will be back probably in 2008.

"Very enjoyable 2 week break. Weather has been very kind, only a couple of rainy or overcast days.
We went to the Entincelles Aquatiques, in the local town, a truely magical show on the lake that made our holiday.
At la frogerie the children spent hours on their bikes in the courtyard. We had a lovely time. Thank you for the wine.

"Long trip from Calais (don't ask). We were dong cartwheels when we got to this delightful cottage, just like my nan's in sleepy Devon.
Pouance breach great, Ellen (4) made a friend and we stayed there all day. Found a great hotel/restaurant for the evening "La Port Angeinne" opposite the supermarket in Pouance.
Weather excellent and very hot.

| "The property and surrounding area exceeded our expectations and the photo on the web site does not do it justice.
The owneres have made sure that all the amenities and information are available for an enjoyable stay and also for emergencies. We had an excellent two weeks and hopefully will return again. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone who wishes to have a relaxing holiday in the beautiful countryside near Chateaubriant."

| "We stayed the first week of August 2005 at La Frogerie and the weather was magnificent - between 25 and 30C. There was so much to do in the area that we ran out of time but still managed to visit the castle and town at Chateaubriant, the lovely city of Rennes, the massive street market at La Guerche as well as the local restaurants and shops. The neighbours at La Frogerie are very friendly and helpful and the house has everything you need for a relaxing holiday. We had a great timeand hope to return back soon."

| "We had a wonderful short-stay, early July 2005, the gite is very well resourced, pleasant and very comfortable. The location is delightful and peaceful, all you can want away from the hustle and bustle of every day life. The French road system makes the Brittany coast, towns, cities in the region so easily accessible.
We will go again, what more can one say.

| "La Frogerie is a beautifully well maintained clean property. Surrounded by marvelous countryside. There is an amazing wood burning fire/stove in the living room unfortunatley we did not get to use it as the temperatures were high while we were there. The house exceeded our expectations by a long way.
I would highly recommend this property for a nice relaxing holiday. Date of stay 12-25th june 2005"

"Oh so laid back, if you want to catch up on your sleep this is the place. Places to visit, Vitre, La Baule and just about anywhere. Reminiscent of Ireland, without the rain, really friendly Folk.

"This is a great little house, including the mouse, that gave us a fright, in the middle of the night.
Most days it stayed dry, with fluffy clouds in a blue sky, when the weather was dire, we came home to light the fire,
The food was just fine, we drank bottles of wine, we've all put on weight, the holiday was great.

"The great thing about turning up when it's totally dark is what awaits you in the morning. What a sight! Fields as far as the eye can see. Nothing to be heard but the hum of a tractor in the distance and birds singing. The birds are so laid back they don't start up in the morning until they have had a good lay-in. La frogerie is a beautiful building with a big welcome. We did the occasional day trip but found the comfort of the old farmhouse as the best place to be.
