| "The property, for our purposes, was excellent! Having an ensuite and patio doors off the master bedroom was wonderful. Our 2 younger daughters shared the 2nd bedroom and our eldest used a fold-away bed in the lounge which worked out great. There was plenty of room for all of us. The terrace is perfect for a meal outside. And the girls sure got their moneys worth out of the swimming pool. Loved the underground secured parking that kept the vehicle cool. We had a rental vehicle so it wasnt a problem getting around. Would definitely go back to this property again. And Jenny was a star."

| "The property is in a very attractive location, with easy access to shopping facilities and restaurants. The complex was kept clean and tidy and felt very secure.
The internal features of the property provided everything that you could need whilst away from home, it was comfortable, loads of storage and had plenty of space. The airconditioning worked well and the kitchen was well equipped.
There were a couple of minor details that could be looked into such as
- the automatic garage door key failed and although the security personnel reprogrammed it - it could have been a problem if it had happened when the security people were not there.
On the change over day which was our second to last day some new tenants (two males) arrived a couple of doors away who were very noisy playing loud music on their balcony and drinking all afternoon, we were pleased that we were not going to share our week with them as it would have spoilt our holiday.
The door lock on the washing machine was a worry. We were told that it had a peculiar feature and that a previous tenant has broken it and I could see why and how this could happen. It is not easy to open the door after the washing cycle has finished and I can see that the door will be a problem for other people too. Luckily we managed to use it but I was extremely wary of it.
Perhaps the instructions on how to find the appartment may need checking as we found that we got lost at a roundabout - cant remember where but maybe somebody should check them as it appears some of the road signs are misleading. We felt that maybe some motorway junction exit numbers could be included and perhaps where it is a roundabout "take the 1st/2nd/3rd exit would help rather than the name of the road to take as we found there were two signs saying the same road and direction on some of the roundabouts.
Apart from that everything was great for us and we enjoyed the appartment and the complex very much

| "Very well equiped comfortable apartment - everything we needed plus a few extras. The balcony was also well equipped with comfortable sun lougers - always in the shade but that was a welcome relief from the 30+ degree heat. A reasonable walk down the hill to a good choice of restaurants in the evenings. But a struggle to walk back up during the day when it was very hot. The pool area was clean and well maintained and we usually managed to find a free sun bed."

| "The apartment was in excellent condition, with everything we needed. The complex was great - good swimming pools, security, car parking and on-site staff. The collection of keys was well organised. It was good to be able to walk approx 10 mins to the local port, but elderly or unfit people may find the walk back up the hill a bit of a struggle. The only issue for us was the lack of local Spanish food/restaurants, but we found the beach bars at Duquesa and some of the restaurants at Sabanillas (also walking distance - 25 mins) did good fish and paellas. There is also a van selling fresh fish at 11 am every morning in the car park by the beach bars, which was great for self catering. Overall, I would recommend the apartment, and would very happily go again."

| "Situated within walking distance of the small harbour / square / restaurants & bars this villa is in a quiet location. It's 3 pools offer ample for the surrounding apartments and the kids pool is perfect for babies, toddlers and small children. The apartment itself was perfect and exceeded our expectations. Dish-washer and Washing-machine made relaxing even easier, as did TV/DVD/CD Player. Rooms were spotless and we were met on arrival by Manager who was very helpful and accommodating. Very relaxing surroundings and not too far from the busier harbour. The veranda was in the shade, this was welcome respite throughout the afternoon in the baking sun! Don't expect an open shop locally on a Sunday... Thanks"

Only suggestions - how about a table tennis table or a pool table?"

| "This is an excellent, high quality apartment overlooking the lovely gardens with the view from the balcony. The apartment and area has everything we could wish for and has exceeded all of our expectations.
The apartment is superbly situated for us golfers with many high quality courses within a short drive. The marina is only a 10 minute walk away with a wide range of excellent cuisine and bars to spend the evening in. We spent a day in Gibralter which is only 30 mins away by car. I was delighted by the underground parking facility and also the onsite security. If the weather had been better I would definately have used the pools that are right outside the apartment. I must also convey my thanks to Mark, the onsite manager who provided all the information we needed to enjoy our stay there. We will becoming back here next year to play more golf and will definatley be staying at this apartment again. many thanks, Richard Roberts & Sue Finch"

| "The apartment was excellent, the location was ideally situated far enough away from the main roads, the security provided was a welcome relief, allowing the kids to be left alone without worrying where they would wander.
A short walk to the marina was fine and the choices to eat and drink were very good, all in all it was as described if not better, I have already reccomended it to friends and we will be returning ourselves.

| "Really great property, spacious, as new condition with great view from the balcony. Overall Duquesa Suites was a great location for the two weeks we spent there. We had our two sons with us, 13 & 10 years old who spend most of their spare time in the 3 pools. Would advise any future users to consider taking Paddle rackets with them to use on paddle courts (not Tennis Courts) which would have added another option for them to play during our stay. Found a number of really good restaurants in Castillo Duquesa as well as those in the Puerto. Good information pack and brochures supplied in property booklet. More sun loungers delivered to pools during our stay but once main School holidays started, it became busier and even more are required to meet demand - good that no "towel" booking is allowed of loungers for more than 30 minutes over lunch periods. Have already recommended to others for future use."

| "Nice location, good directions if you can see. Recommended to travel in daylight!!! Beware of lunatic spanish drivers. Beautiful pictures in the apartment, might take them home next time so watch them!!! Nicely furnished and comfortable. We enjoyed daily excursions to places such as Porte Banus, Sotegrande, Marbella and Gibralter (brought back some monkeys!). Not too far from the supermarket and if like us you eat out there are plenty of restaraunts down at the port. We are definately going again this year."

| "My family had a wonderful time. I couldn't get the kids out of the pool. The apartment facilities were comprehensive and the view from the large terrace is great.
There lot to do and see nearby. We walked down to the port everynight for meals, drinks and entertainment. There are nice walks up the prommande to Sablinias.
The boats at Sortagrande are worth seeing.
Yes I will be coming back next year and have already booked this apartment!"

| "We very enjoyed our stay in Duquesa. It's a great pity that our holidays are over so quickly. Your apartment is exquisite with a perfect equipment. ( ..perhaps for the germans: a coffee machine....)
And we love the wonderful panoramic view with the lovely sunrise, as well as the sunset. The three pools were super clean and our childrens didn't want to leave tis place. Nevertheless we visit Ronda, Sevilla, Gibraltar, Tarifa, and some white villages.
Thank you, that we could rent and stay at your apartmen"
