| "A well appointed villa in a quiet high up location above the beautiful bay of Kalcan. We enjoyed our stay here and felt very comfortable. The area is fairly quiet and suitable for couples and families which is exactly what we were looking for. Washing machine and dish washer were much appreciated. The pool was nice but out of use for over two days due to green discolouration,but it was dealt with by the agents.
The equipment was fine but a tiny teapot and a one person coffee maker needs upgrading for 6-7 people villa."

| "I could not agree more with the reveiw detailed below.We have just returned from two weeks at this property and we were so pleased that the villa was in an elevated poistion, quiet,secluded,fantastic views and the villa has everything you would want and with the added benefit of a beautiful pool. Kalkan itself is breath taking and the choice and quality of restaurants is unbelievable. All in all a fantastic holiday and I would have no hestitation in recommending Kalkan and Hibiscus and we will be back next year."

| "The villa was perfectly situated on the edge of Kalkan close to the Hamlet of Akbel, this location provided both a haven away from the town centre and a cool elevated position offering breath taking panoramic views, which extended acroos the Bay of Kalkan, and to the right the sweeping beach of Patara. Being a 5 miniute walk form the truelly turkish hamlet of Akbel afforded us an opportunity to shop amongst the local villagers. We all agreed that the villa itself well exceeded our expetations and the profile photos did not do it justice. the villa was clean, spacious and well maintained and provided a cool haven from the Turkish heat. The position of villa enables the occupants to benefit from a cool refeshing breeze that often reduced the need to use air con, despite outside temperatures well exceeding 40C. It was a real home from home complemented by the excellent welcome and information provided by the Managers, Lynne and Steve, who responded to our every request or enquiry promptly, making us feels at ease and free to contact them at any time. Highly recommended !"

| "This Villa is very high up but if you use the local taxis and busses you will have a fantastic time.
The swimming pool is excellent. I would reccommend this villa. Kalkan is especially pretty at night. It is an ideal family town especially with teenager children - not so good with pushchairs as the town is low down and nearly all accommodation is Very high up. Would go again, and again. Excellent Villa.

| "The communications from the owner were extremely helpful and give an good idea of the villa location and the need for a car. The villa itself was nice and fully equiped in all aspects except the kitchen. Due to the location we spent several evenings cooking for ourselves, a family of five, and we found the utensils and crockery quite limited. Suggestions to the owner would be to provide more pans, knives, bowls and essentially a microwave.
The outside area was good and the swimming pool very clean. We were initially disapointed when we realised that the pool was shared with the neighbouring villa, rather than being private for the villa. Luckily for us there was nobody in the villa opposite until the end of our second week when the owners arrived. The owners were extremely friendly and we ended up going out for the day with them and dining with them on the evening so all worked out well in the end!!The maintenance manager of the villa was excellent, very friendly, available for any queries and always willing to help with any problems or requests. Overall an enjoyable holiday"

| "We stayed at Villa Hibiscus for 9 nghts and enjoyed every one of them. The Villa is furnished very tastefully and is equiped with everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The views from the roof terrace are fabulous and it was lovely to sit watching the sun go down while enjoying a glass of wine. Kalkan itself is very pretty, and there are plenty of lovely rooftop restaurants and bars to give you a good choice of dining. Although it is'nt necessary to hire a car while staying at the villa, it is definitely an advantage as it is a good 20 to 25 minute walk into Kalkan. This is not too bad for an evening stroll, but not so good in the heat of the midday sun. We would definitely return to Villa Hibiscus for another holiday. The only thing that would improve the property would be a private pool for the sole use of the occupants instead of sharing with the neighbouring villa. A private pool would make it an ideal hideaway for people who want to get away from it all."

| "beautiful villa, high up above Kalkan , so catches the breeze , even on the hottest days.Only 10 mins from the village, around 15 from Patara beach, amd of course there,s a pool on site!! had a brilliant holiday, Kalkan itself is lovely, spoilt for choice for lovely restaurants, with the one notable exception being the IBO- DO NOT GO THERE!! Defnitely the worst meal in the town, but also one of the worst experiences we,ve all had in a long time!,Hibiscus Villa exceeded all our expectations, the owner cannot be more helpful, and we would have no hesitation in highly recommending it."

"Fantastic villa. Holidayed in August 2004. Great views and good facilities. Pool and sun terrace very large and comfortable. - good for sunbathing. Kalkan is a really nice place. Locals are very friendly. I would recommend this villa for a great holiday base.

| "The villa is furnished to a very high standard and is extremely well equipped with good quality appliances. It is apparent the owners have spent a lot of time ensuring all their guests requirements are met. Many an evening we sat on the roof terrace with a glass of wine watching the sunset over Patara Beach. The views from the terrace are breathtaking. We arrived late and were pleased to receive the 'welcome pack' which contained everything we need to start our holiday.
Kalkan is so picturesque and has not been spoilt by commercialism, eating out is cheap and the quality of the food is excellent. The locals are very welcoming and will do anything to help. We went on a few of the excursions which were very well organised and extremely good value for money.
I will be returning to Villa Hibiscus with my family again in 2005"
