| "Overall good. Good size secure backgarden which was excellant for our dogs. It was also very convienent to all amenities. Good size comfortable bedrooms but the sitting was too small for the amount of people being accomodated for in the house. TV could also have been slightly bigger to make it more comfortable to look at."

| "The property and location were excellent.Though we were arriving late[11.45pm] Teresa was more than willing to meet us.She was extremely friendly and welcoming, scones to hand.A bathroom and separate wetroom was an extra bonus for our group of four.Overall the cottage with its large secluded garden exceeded our expectations. My party and I would happily reccommend this venue as a base to enjoy the beauty of South East Ireland."

| "We were delighted with the cottage, the accommodation was first-class, comfortable and welcoming.
It was very well-placed for touring around the area and was always a joy to come back to in the evening.
We had plenty of aids to our enjoyment when the weather was less than good, with a good selec tion of indoor entertainment, not least the well-stocked library room.
We would definitely recommend the cottage to anyone wishing to visit Ireland and would book to stay there again if we decided to make another trip over there."

| "The property was clean and tidy. The beds were sooooo comfortable. The dining area/kitchen were kitted out with all mod-cons. The shower room and bathroom were in good condition, the living room was comfy - though the TV reception was not too good - though DVDs were in plentiful to enjoy at the property. The library in the attic was excellent - well stocked with books for all ages - an airy and light room - which was a joy to be in. On raining days I imagine you can sit and read, and watch the world go by. The property was close to all the amenities."

| "With two separate single beds and two doubles there was plenty of room. The garden was a good size and there was plenty of info, leaflets etc to plan days out. Theresa was very friendly and helped us settle in on our arrival. The TV reception was the only niggle as it was terrible. As we didnt watch it much it wasnt an issue really. The kitchen was easy to work in and having two bathrooms was wonderful. We were a party of four and there was plenty of room. The little library upstairs was a great little retreat too! Lismore is a beautiful village and this house formed part of that overall charm and character.Wonderful."

| "Looking at the property from the outside does not do justice to the inside of the cottage. The place was spotless and very well decorated. The advantage of two bathrooms with one being a shower area is practical and useful. The beds are extremely comfortable. The kitchen was well laid out with all mod cons. The sitting room was nice and cosy, but would have preferred a bigger tv than the portable on offer. The cottage is convenient to the village and the Classroom serves a good guinness with Irish music on a Thursday. We were warmly greeted by the lady next door and fresh milk, complimentary tea and coffee was well received, as well as an homemade apple pie. An enjoyable experience from start to finish. We will be going back."

| "This cottage had everything we needed and more. It was spacious, clean, warm and cosy. It was quiet, with a private garden at the back. There was a library with a good selection of books to read. There were two bathrooms, one with a wonderfully long tub! There were many nice touches such as a welcoming cake and tea making supplies, even hot water bottles. It was great to have a washer/dryer, dishwasher and everything we needed to cook. The beds are comfy and the duvets warm. It is a very short stroll to restaurants, pubs and a small grocery store. The town of Lismore itself is very clean and picturesque... with many historic sites. We stayed with our 2 year old son and he loved the newly built playground. It is a great location for daytrips, too. We went to Waterford City, Cork/Blarney, Youghal/Dungarvan and up to the Rock of Cashel. All in all it was even better than we expected and great value for money."

Would be a lovely yard if not the dead of winter, but still lovely. The village was terrific, Teresa VERY helpful. Loved the library upstairs. Everyone very friendly."

| "A great location for touring the countryside and coast of the South East of Ireland. On the edge of the small town of Lismore, Deilginis is in easy walking distance of banks (one with an ATM), restaurants, pubs, supermarkets, takeaways, the park and Lismore Castle and gardens. Internet access is available at the library.
Deilginis has easy roadside parking, and is very child and baby friendly, with a good size garden.
Good value for family holidays in this attractive part of the world."

| "A very relaxing, homely atmoshere is created within the cottage.
The sound of Church bells, a Castle at the end of the road with beautiful walks and scenery all around.
The town of Lismore offers excellent restaurants within walking distance where a true Irish welcome was always extended. Cannot wait to revisit and renew the friendships made during our stay.
On arrival, Theresa, the caretaker, who lives next door had the table laid for tea with a delicious homemade apple pie. What more could you ask for after a journey? This gesture marked the beginning of what was to come - a truly wonderful holiday."

| "Deilginis was perfect in every way. Teresa, the key keeper, welcomed us with homemade apple pie, and all the makings for tea. She amade sure we knew how to use the appliances, made sure we were warm enough, and showed us how to use the fireplace. We had plenty of thick, large towels, and two nice bathrooms. One with a large, open shower, and the other with an oversized tub. Both had toilets and sinks, as well. The cottage also had a nice-sized back yard, and nice bedrooms. We enjoyed a fire every night. Very nice furnishings - we wanted for nothing! The cottage is in a great location, only a block or so from the main street of Lismore. An easy walk to shops, restaurants, pubs. All in all, an exceptional place to stay and I'd recommend it to anyone."

| "The only problem we had was upon arrival. Lismore was in the midst of a musical festival making it difficult to get around the town. The directions to the cottage were vague by American standards. Cars were parked everywhere due to the festival making it even more difficult to drive. When we did find it, we were told we couldn't "check in" until 5. We had been traveling for over 24 hours by that point and were quite exhausted. I would recommend including more specific directions to the cottage and check in times in the future.
Other than that, it was wonderful. Theresa was so friendly. She had warm scones waiting for us in the kitchen. She also shared the recipe with me which was great as I write a food column for our local paper and am going to write about our trip. She later fixed traditonal Irish brown bread too.
Staying in the cottage provided a great starting point for our Ireland day trips. It turned out to be close to many of the places we wanted to visit.
Lismore is a beautiful little village."

| "Delightful place and real home from home. We were especially happy to have the help from caretaker Teresa who was a real 'good neighbour'. The cottage is excellently kept and thoughtfully furnished with even details like games for the children. The only flip-side was having to feed the electric meter but we discovered that it only guzzled electricity if we used too many appliances - but we agree this is the only fair way of paying for the electricity and prevents abuse.
We will definitely return and will recommend our friends."

| "We had a fantastic week in this cottage in June 2005. The owners have done a great job of doing it up, and we had everything we needed for a 2 and a half month old baby. Theresa and family who live next door and look after the cottage were brilliant and taught us hurling and even took us along to a game. There is a great selection of pubs in Lismore which serve a mean pint of Guinness, and we had some excellent food (especially at the Tannery in Dungarvan which is Jameson’s restaurant of the year and still half the price of most places in Kerry). I even got sun burnt in the back garden!"
