| "Gas bottle ran out on the first night but was replaced next day very quickly by the caretakers and no problem after that.The furniture was very comfortable. Definitely would not recommend this property if there was any difficulty in walking but otherwise a most pleasant house. Parking sometimes difficult even in October. Oliva a very Spanish town, definitely not touristy, so fine for us! All in all, a very pleasant week."

| "Live like the Spanish in this wonderful traditional townhouse. Casa Pueblo quickly became our home away from home for 5 weeks. We were happy to find ourselves within a few minutes walk of the main through road and only a few more minutes put us comfortably on the paseo. The paseo is the centre of daily activities for the spanish lifestyle. Small stores for groceries and other food products are only minutes, by foot, from the door of Casa Pueblo.
As with any residential area that does not have a front yard to distance street traffic noise you may initially be aware of the comings and goings of others. The street noise did not become a distraction and we quickly became oblivious to it. Within the comforts of this lovely spanish house it is easy to relax and enjoy the ambiance provided by the owner. The house is fully equipped and well appointed. Everything is in fine working order and the owner provides instruction booklets (if needed) on the operation of the appliances as well as notes on things to do and see in the area and transportation suggestions, if you decide not to rent a vehicle.
Most days included time spent on the roof top terrace, a quiet place to relax and enjoy the daily sunshine. A place to look out at the world and enjoy your surroundings that include the blue domes of the churches, the mountains, views over rooftops to the Mediterranean and at night the magnificent view of the illuminated castle ruins. If you find it too hot to enjoy the roof you can always escape to your own personal oasis provided by the inner court yard.
Restaurants, bars and pastelarias are numerous and the 'menu del dia' soon becomes a daily routine. If you are not up to the walk to the beach then the Olibus from the paseo will get you there for 1 Euro.
The beach is broad, sandy and very clean. In the area are numerous facilities for lunch or a beverage as desired.

"'a great base from which to explore the area or simply crash out on the beach. A car is not necessary although would offer more convenience. The Paseo is 10 minutes walk away and the beach/harbour another 25 from there via the stream that runs from behind the sports centre. A bus takes away the effoet on a hot day and is €1 each way.'

| "The house was very tastefully decorated, & all the equipment provided both in the kitchen & elsewhere was of good quality & well maintained. The location was splendid. The beach is in fact just a good stretch of the legs away, & in any event the Olibus will take you there easily enough. There is no need for a car, as public transport is pletniful, easy to use, & very cheap. Oliva is an opportunity to view a rel working Spanish town, not a tourist resort. I woudl gladly visit again."

| "The property was excellent. Well exceeded our expectations for facilities and cleanliness.
The only drawback we found with the house was its proximity to the beach. The advertisement stated 5 mins from the beach when in fact it was a good 20 minute car ride. This caused us to lose 2 days of the holiday trying to find the 5 minute beach.
This said, it did not spoil our enjoyment of the holiday and if this is a typical example of the properties on offer, I would certainly book through myvillarenters again."

| "The propert was very well equipped, clean and spacious. We received a very warm welcome and were given a lot of information about the area and its surrounds. Nothing was too much trouble for Susan and Clinton. The only disappointment was the distance to the beach. You do need a car to get to the beach. Everything else is easy to get to and bars and cafes were all very friendly. I would not hesitate to recommend it. The side streets are narrow but you soon get used to it. The directions that we were given were easy to follow and the main roads well signposted. We had a lovely holiday. Thankyou."
